Quiet spot on a Sunday night. Ordered the mussels , cacio e pepe, and the crème brûlée. Mussels were spectacular. The broth was a rich lemony white wine mix and a slide of toasted bread. Cacio e pepe was not great for me...plate was small...no flavor...tasted like boxed mac n cheese sauce. Creme brûlée was fantastic! Service was great and it is a cozy spot to chat with a loved one.

Came here as our original restaurant was actually closed, so we went across street and ate here Had a house salad, mezze platter, olives, a mezcal espresso martini and some red wine Delphina service was fantastic and really made us at home; the food was fresh, the pita was warm, and the spreads were delicious. Highly recommend!!!

Curiosity got the best of us after walking by Rintintin countless times, always bustling. We made a reservation for Saturday evening and were seated promptly outside. Perusing the menu, we expected Mediterranean flavors but found a mishmash of options (NY strip steak, burgers, pasta, paella). We opted for drinks instead: a lychee martini and old fashioned. Mine arrived sans lychee, but after spotting another table's garnish, our server kindly obliged (apparently, they'd briefly run out). The old fashioned was crafted well, tailored to my partner's taste. Ambience? 5 stars, perfect for a hot summer evening. Drinks and food? 4 stars. While the drinks were solid, the menu's lack of Mediterranean focus left us underwhelmed. Maybe we'll return for drinks, but the food didn't tempt us.

A great bartender can make or break an entire experience. For example, Maiden Lane in the East Village was ruined for me when one of the bartenders got mad that I only tipped 10% on a $6 watermelon juice... She actually came up and said "you only tipped 60 cents..." and just looked at me. Like wtf yeah I did lol. All this to shout out the bartender at Rintintin, my boy Aref. We arrived after a long day of shopping, thirsty for greatness and a Spritz to beat the heat. When it's hot af out and I got the linen on, I need a Spritz to complete me. We started chopping it up with him, and it was like talking to an old friend: He was talkin smack to my girlfriend that she wouldn't be able to handle the spice in his spicy cucumber margarita, telling us about how he makes his own hot honey, and how much working night shifts wears on you compared to days. He made a MEAN spritz, with an olive to accompany the orange slice. I never knew I needed an olive in a spritz until Aref put me on. How does that saying go again? "Talent hits a target no one else can hit, genius hits a target no one else can see..." He brought our 3rd round of drinks on a Friday at 2:47pm, shot us a big smile and said "this round is on me you guys are great." DAMN AREF YOU GON GET ME EMOTIONAL! We now HAD to order a 4th round to show our appreciation, so we went with the Mezcal Killer Bees, as it had his hot honey in it (no diddy). All the drinks in here were made with soul, and had a little creative spin on them. We loved everything. We also cracked off on a Mezze plate that had fresh pita bread, vegetables, and 5 or so dips. It was PERFECT to hold us over to the Yankees game where we were planning to destroy a couple of glizzys. The Arefs of the world need their shine. They just make the world a better place. Y'all gotta come in here and try some of that proprietary hot honey... IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

We were in soho for a choral concert at St Patrick's cathedral- gorgeous architecture and what a history, btw-- and we stopped at Rintintin early for lunch. What a find! We arrived before the rush and were the first to be seated in this charming French/Mediterranean/Belgian feeling bar restaurant. My daughter in law had the chicken/lime/cilantro soup which she was so happy with- rain started to pour outside and people piled in. We felt lucky and I was amazed at the delicacy and quality and sheer beauty of the dish presented to me- a tuna tartar with spring greens and dressed sublimely. My son enjoyed the cappuccino so much, he ordered two. And the bill- not such a bad dent for lunch. Dinner might be more what you'd expect at this address but lunch: an elegant bargain!

It's about the vibe here. Otherwise, the food and drinks were mediocre or in Gen Z terms, very MID. My old fashioned was sweeter than I expected, and my linguini and clams was just average. $4 for seltzer. It's another place to be seen.

I've never been more disrespected or turned off by a bartender more in my life. Holy moly. The bartender today with the scruff beard wearing a camo hoodie was so loud and legitimately speaking 5 octaves higher & five inches away from my face. I was clear about sitting down for a quick burger and cider bc was having a bad day - meaning stop screaming around me and overly joking when you cannot read the room. I RARELY ever post 1 star reviews as I'm a bartender myself of 13 years in NYC but man this guy has made me never want to return to this venue ever again. I asked him nicely so many times that I just needed to chill and was over stimulated but the kid wouldn't stop and began making crazy rude remarks like "oh should I just stop talking then" and I finally (after 6 attempts of saying it nicely) said yea please I just want to sit quietly. And he just rambled on from there. There's so much more I'm just wildly turned off and so grossed out at this experience.

    Fish main dish. Wow!!!

So impressed after coming here for dinner with friends. The service is great! The food is beyond what I expected. My friend ordered the fish entree and it was a huge portion, with perfectly seasoned pieces of fish and amazing marinate. I got a paella with tons of seafood on top. And we also got octopus starter - super tender and also perfectly seasoned. They easily offered mocktail options once we asked. There's no dedicated section for that although they do have NA brews. The hibiscus mocktail blew me away. 10/10 night!

Yes! We had a great time. Owners approached us as well as the chef to see if everything was ok. The waitress was great an so it was the food. A real pleasure.

There are two or three right outside of the resto but not on the sidewalk tables

From start to finish everything missed the mark: The hummus was bland and tasted like someone forgot the spices. The doma (dolmas) were disappointing and didn't have the rich flavor they should. Even the baklava, which should be a sweet highlight, was dry, lackluster, and honestly not enjoyable. The Turkish coffee was so bitter it was almost undrinkable -- if you like bitter coffee, maybe it's your thing, but it wasn't what I expected. They market themselves as Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine, but what I ate didn't come close to what I'd consider good food in that category. My stomach was still growling afterward -- and not in a "I want more" way, but in a "why did I eat this?" way. The staff and service were fine and the atmosphere is pretty, but at the end of the day it's just not worth it when the food itself is so underwhelming. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or tasty Turkish/Middle Eastern food.

We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

The falafel was perfectly crisp with a slightly smoky outer crust that added really great texture and flavor. A bit dry tho -- Needed the hummus and Mezze Platter to dress it up a little. Salad was refreshing, crispy and a great palette cleanser across the table. The combo platter + mixed rice was fabulous. Chicken was tender and came right off the bone (something I'm new to but it was good!).
