Guy who works there is clueless. Called ahead of time to make sure they had a part I was looking for. He assured me they had it. I drive 20 minutes to get there, not only does he not understand what I'm looking for....they don't have it. He didn't even bother to look for what I was asking for when he said they had it. So I wasted my time during an incredibly busy day at work. I was pretty angry. All I got was "Sorry, man." Yeah, well, sorry you will be out of business soon.

Thankfully the magic of search engines told me that Greenwich Hardware did. When the cart arrived, it turned out to be the wrong one. They were selling the new cart, not the old one I needed. Instead of simply issuing a refund, Trey promised to do everything in his power to help me track down what I needed. It only took him a few days to come through! He called in a favor at Weber and had a buddy do a deep search of their entire inventory, eventually finding one tucked away in an old warehouse in Indiana. It was shipped to me post-haste. This was a level of customer service that knocked me off my feet. If I'm ever in town, I'll make sure to stop by and thank Trey in person. For now, the best I can do is write this review and keep them in mind the next time I had any internet hardware needs.

The salesperson I talked to wouldn't even look at it, or even ask another associate to look at it, and told me that I should find a Toro store to have it fixed. When I mentioned that I bought it there and that I was told to bring any item I had a problem with back to the store, the associate just shrugged his shoulders as if to say "so what." Later that day, I spoke to the store manager, Paul, who said that I could bring the weed trimmer in the following week and he'd be happy to exchange it for a new one. Paul even told me that the associate I talked to did not follow store policy and that's not how handle those situations are supposed to be handled at the store. When I went back to the store on the pre-arranged day, Paul brought out the owner of the store, Chris, who told me that I do have to take it to a Toro store and that he wouldn't exchange it as I was promised by the store manager. Why would I buy a product from Berger if they are just going to wash their hands of it when it malfunctions? If I buy a car from a dealership, that dealership deals with the problem car and tries to help the customer with the vehicle. I have bought a lot of stuff from Berger because I wanted to buy local. Now I'm going to tell everyone I know about this and urge them to go to Home Depot.
