It was a Sunday morning. Brought vehicle to Town and Country and left keys in drop box for Monday. We live in the greater Detroit area. Curtis got the vehicle in and diagnosed the issue. Curtis said that the vehicle went into limp mode due to low oil pressure and an oils sample showed metal bits. He said he was not sure that replacing the failed part would fix the car due to the issue possibly caused by the low oil pressure. I decided to not repair the vehicle and scrap it instead. Curtis allowed me to keep it at the shop for about 5 days no issue until I could get my ducks in a row with a scrap yard and a replacement vehicle for my son. He was very understanding of the issue and accommodating. He even gave us a discount on the diagnostic fee he performed on the vehicle! Williams Audi told me they could replace the engine for me for $13,000. Redline Auto Service bought a brand new engine from Audi, and installed it for $4,000 less that what Williams wanted to charge me. Nick at Redline Auto was a true joy to work with. Without ever visiting the Redline Auto service center, I had my Audi Q5 towed to them, and coordinated everything over the phone with Nick while traveling on business. I just picked up the car yesterday and had the pleasure of meeting Nick and some of the team (including the dog) in person for the first time. The car with brand new engine is running like a dream, and I'll never take it anywhere else from this point forward. Already planning to take our 2007 Volvo V70 Wagon to Redline Auto for a tune-up.

They'll give you a free ride to work or pick up up when your car is done. And, if you're lucky, sometimes they have kittens or puppies in the office (one of the ladies breeds English Bull Dogs.)
