I was in a rush to get the job done because I was leaving for a trip in a few weeks. They were kind enough to accommodate an inspection for me the very next day. The inspection only took about 15 minutes. Since the space I needed to rodent proof was small and there wasn't much to do, they suggested that I handle it myself because they have a minimum fee for scheduling a session. They even gave me helpful tips on what to do and which areas needed to be covered. This reflects their honesty and commitment to helping rather than simply maximizing profit. However, I still decided to go ahead and book the job with them as I was in a rush and didn't have time to get it done by myself. The appointment was scheduled for the same week. The crew showed up on time, they got the job done in two hours and ran me over a few cautionary next steps. Overall a very pleasant experience and I was taken care of in less than week and left me with one year warranty. Overall it was a true 5 star experience. A bit pricy given my past experience with rodent proofing companies in South Bay a few years ago, but the service was much better, I assume the prices have gone in past few years and I'm a happy costumer. So I guess it's worth it. So far it's been only a week in and no issues observed. I will update my review in few months and will update everyone on the results.

Since the service was so expensive, I was seriously disappointed in those results. That said, the initial rodent proofing price included a 1 year guarantee. Premier came back twice to deal with our recurring problem at no additional charge. Each time they were able to identify new ways in which the little monsters were getting into the house and blocked off the access ways. The last time they came out, in addition to the rodent proofing, they suggested I add ornamental rocks to my garden beds as the rats had been digging under the foundation in a particular area. I followed their advice. It's been nearly a year and we have had no further rat incidents to date (crossing my fingers that this remains the case). In all visits, the technician was thoroughly professional and polite. And it was easy to schedule their return visits. Although I was initially disappointed with the results of the service, I have to say that they really came through in the end.

Katie an owner and manager contacted me after I made this review. She wanted to clarify some of…read morethe issues that I brought up. One of them being that Premier is two different companies - one that specializes in rodent, etc. proofing - which I used. When they sprayed for ants it was a separate division. I should point out that we haven't had an ant issue since they sprayed (over 2 years ago). Here are her words from her email to me: "We have 2 separate companies {2 divisions, each one having a specialty} Premier Rodent Proofing specializing in Rodent control and Performance Pest Management specializing in Pest Control {Ants, Fleas, Spiders, etc.} You hired Premier Rodent Proofing in December of 2009 to resolve a Rodent Issue. Our services have a 1 year warranty; it isn't a yearly maintenance contract like Performance Pest Management offers." Katie also apologized about the rude employee and for the cancellation mix-up. She also wrote that they left a quote for the additional work and followed up with me. I do not recall it this way but it is certainly possible they left a quote and it blew away in the wind. Overall I'd like to say that the folks at both divisions all seem like very nice people - it is a small family run business. I don't consider this a bad review - I consider it an average (a-ok) review. I think anyone could easily be happy with their services and should not use my review as a reason not to try them - this is NOT a negative review. They did a great job sealing the attic which I am very happy about. Hope this helps to clarify things.
