This review is long overdue but here it is. Moving has always been stressful and usually we would go for the "I'll buy you beer and pizza if you come help us" route, but this time we decided to get professional help. Best decision ever because Stephen and Miguel were amazing. They were fast, friendly, efficient, and careful with our belongings. They were an hour and a half late, but this was due to their previous appointment and traffic. It was worth the wait because it only took the two of them 3-4 hours to move everything from Irvine to Laguna Niguel compared to our usual ~10hour move with help from friends. I was pretty stressed out about the idea of moving and having to wait did not help. However, Miguel and Stephen showed up with a very cheery disposition that helped calm me down. After seeing how professional and friendly they were, I knew we were in good hands. The price is very reasonable for the amount of work they had to do. This seemed like a promising start to a quick and hassle free move...man was I wrong! I was moving in a few days and needed a moving company to help me out with the move. I searched yelp and found some great reviews for this place, so I decided to try them out. The guy at the phone was really friendly and helpful...and in a matter of minutes, I booked 2 movers for my 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom. I met the two movers on move day and as one seemed experienced, the other I felt was still learning the ropes. Regardless, they seemed nice enough and more than capable of moving our stuff out in the 3hrs i was expecting. 3+ hrs go by and they head off to the new place (after a 30 min break). I tell them that I'll meet them there after I load up my car. I arrive to my new place around 2 hrs later..no sign of the movers. 30 mins go by and they finally show up. Apparently they decided to take the freeway in rush hour that took them an extra hour to get here ( they charge per hour even for the drive ). I took the streets and got there in 13mins. So exactly what was I paying for there...incompetence? Either that or they purposely took the long way to get more money out of me. Regardless, their unprofessionalism was starting to show... The unloading had started and I was eager to get done with it so that I can start unpacking my stuff. Unfortunately our fridge was a really tight fit going through the front door...it seemed nearly impossible to get that thing through. I suggested clearing the way taking it through the back door... But they decided that it would be a better option to take our front door off and try to get it though the front. 20 mins later and several scratches to the door frame, they finally get it in. But then the fridge wouldn't fit in the custom built in opening...although the fridge matched up to fit the dimensions of the space, it wasn't built symmetrically. Back to the garage the fridge goes! Again I suggest taking it through the back, but they preferred to take it through the front since the door was already off. Another 20 mins later they get it in. After the move I decided to take some measurements and see which opening was bigger. The back was a full 3 inches wider. If they had bothered to even take a basic measurement, they would have saved themselves a lot of trouble..and saved me an extra $90. I ended up paying almost $700 for a move that should have taken not more than 4. Never again right movers...never again.. read more

So I have to drop it to a single star. After I posted my review, the owner of the company contacted me immediately telling me he was shocked at my review and asked me to contact him. At the time I was pretty occupied having just move and trying to get situated/readjusted etc. So when I replied to him and said I was open to discussing, it he said he was out of town and we could talk about it the following Monday. That was on the 15th of January. Now, I don't like to add to much conjecture to a review, and maybe people think I am being a little nitpicky, but I did shell out almost $600 for this service, and got nothing more for it than I could have gotten from a much cheaper mover or maybe renting my own uhaul and ordering some pizza for my friends. At least they would feel bad about damaging my things. When I ran my own business, I had employees occasionally screw up, and immediately I would personally visit the customer with a check for a full refund and redo the work personally without accepting payment. And that is what my customers paid for. The assurance that my company would take full responsibility for getting the job done. Not only was the job performed poorly, but I am left responsible for my damaged property and I still had to move some of my own things but still being obligated to pay full price. read more

I'm usually not very keen to give businesses a review at all let alone a 5 star but I think Right Movers have earned it. Firstly, I had to move in a serious rush. I was very very late since I had been out of town and gone past my move out date. I called these guys up and Tim didn't need a lot of convincing for the short notice. He seemed like he understood exactly what was going on without me having to beg and plead my case. He asked for a few minutes and got back to me with two possible times and one of them was on the same day. That I found very surprising and very helpful. Anyway, I opted with the next day since it was raining at the time and I didn't want any troubles for any of us. Most of this conversation took place via text. The next day, Aaron and Iffron show up and they were the quickest most efficient movers I have ever come across. They didn't waste any time whatsoever and were actually taking interest in their job. They didn't need any supervision and really took a much stuff as they could in every run. Above all, they didn't damage a single thing. I drove to the next location by car and they drove the truck. I was expecting them to show up 30 minutes after me but to my surprise they arrived before me? I don't know how they did it but they did. Maybe I'm a slow driver or maybe their trucks are powered by some beast that the Germans have not yet discovered. They were able to move everything in and assemble the furniture in just an hour at this location. Altogether this move took 4 hours while I was expecting around 5-6 hours. No bullshit, no nonsense, no hidden charges. It really is as good as it can get and it was great. Great job guys! read more

I wish there was an option to click 10 stars for the Right Movers! They are so careful with everything, come with wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes are easily moved/put away. They wrap and secure everything. They moved our entire 4 bedroom house in 6 hours, they didn't stop moving the entire time! To top it off I over paid Aaron by $200 and he came back!!! My initial conversation was with Tim. He was super helpful and offered EXCELLENT customer service and was able to accommodate easily. We moved next door from an upstairs location to downstairs so no truck was needed. The day of Aaron and Jose arrived at 8am (on time) and were really helpful. They were professional and courteous not to mention FAST. Seriously... they moved our two bedroom, two bath condo in an hour and a half. This was our first time using a moving company and my husband and I are so happy we went with Right Movers. The guys handled all of our furniture with care, nothing was scratched or damaged. I labeled all of our boxes accordingly and they made sure every box was moved to where they needed to be. Same with the furniture, we just let them know where we wanted everything and they made it happen. Thanks to their quick service we were actually able to get our entire place unpacked the same day! I used Right Movers for my move this past Monday. I sold my condo and the buyer requested a 20 day escrow. Things happened very quickly and I needed to move FAST! After researching movers and reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to contact Right Movers for more information. I was very impressed with the owner, Tim. He took the time to answer all of my questions when I called and even gave me some great tips about where to get quality moving supplies at a good cost. My move was scheduled for 9:00am on Monday morning. They were on time and ready to work. I was lucky enough to have Tim as one of my movers. Both Tim and his employee were fantastic! They worked quickly, but carefully. I had a ton of fragile and special items that they treated with extra care. Some of my belongings are irreplaceable and I was very nervous about moving them. Right Movers made me feel confident that my fragile items were important to them, too. They were so careful and professional! They had to take apart some of my furniture (the bed, large items) to move them and they were diligent in making sure that I kept all of the screws and important pieces together in a safe place. They wrapped all of the furniture in blankets and a type of saran wrap, that kept everything together. I was amazed at how careful they were! I had to move my entire condo into a storage unit and will need to move out of the storage unit when I find and house. I will ABSOLUTELY be using Right Movers and I am requesting the same movers as they were FANTASTIC! I was so impressed that I have hired them for my in-laws upcoming move next month, too. If you are looking for professional movers who take pride in what they do, then this is the company for you! They are professional, careful, honest and dependable! I highly recommend them! Also, the poor guys worked all day and we didn't have time to break for lunch because I am moving from Orange County to Corona and we needed to get on the freeway to beat traffic! Neither one of them complained. I ran to get us a quick bite when we got to the storage unit. Poor guys were working their tails off and must have been starving. Perfection, all the way around. These guys are completely professional. They showed up about 10min early to get their truck set up. I was referred by a friend, and was able to schedule a complimentary walk through of my home within a day. The owner himself did the consult and assured me of their professionalism and confidence. They did not disappoint! We didn't have to take anything out of our dresser drawers, which was AMAZING! That's always such a pain.. They shrink wrap the drawers shut. Genius! Our total move time was about 7.5hrs for a 2br home with an office and some very large & heavy pieces of furniture. They were awesome and clearly knew what they were doing. Trusted each other and worked very well together. Nothing was broken during our move, nothing ripped or torn. No holes in any walls or even a paint chip. I would recommend this company to anyone. Working with Right Movers was remarkably refreshing, compared to my past experiences with other moving companies. First off, the movers actually showed up early for the appointment, and in my experience movers are typically late. Moving is a stressful enough process as is, and punctuality is key in my book. Aaron, Jose, and Rufat were very professional and attentive with the items they were moving. They understood all the instructions I gave them, and they all had a great attitude while performing such a difficult task. My sectional was broken, and they even fixed that for me when they put it back together. All the furniture and every box came to my new apartment without a scratch. Then I broke my own lamp, which was ironic. Utilized a living social deal that was originally only for 2 hours for 2 people. However I negotiated with Tim and he was fair about the pricing in order for me to utilize three movers instead of two (he only charged me the excess amount). I hired the "Right Movers" to move our 2-bedroom/ 2-bathroom, 2nd floor walk-up to THREE locations. My roommate and I graduated and had to move our own things home, and our joint things to storage...The Right Movers were the perfect people for the job. They wrapped everything in cling-wrap, and advised me on what to do to prepare for their arrival- which I did. They got the job done in the estimated amount of time, and even gave us some tips of what to do with our storage unit when we were ready to move again. They also were extremely careful with our valuables and organized our storage unit with the items we specified that we might need sooner than later near the door. Annnnnyway- I WILL be using them again once we're ready to move out again. (I also appreciated that they used a huge truck, and didn't charge for milage because we were moving within a particular range of our move-out location) read more
