STAY AWAY FROM HERITAGE HOUSE FURNITURE!!!…read more Horrific customer service. Horrific products Low value for price I purchased a high end Smith Brothers couch from Herritage. The fabric is an S fabric. I called them to find out how to clean it. Maxx recommended "Guardian soil and odor cleaner". They know the fabric. They SELL the cleaner. Maxx even showed me where to buy it on Amazon. Claim they use this to clean their Smith brother couches. I used the cleaner & it destroyed the fabric. The fine print on the bottle indicates "never to use on S fabric". When I pointed this out to the owner, she then lambasted me saying "it's not their problem because cleaning soiled furniture is not their business". She was extremely rude. I don't think I've ever been mistreated by a business as badly as this one. When I asked if Smith Brothers could repair the cushion, rather than being polite and stating that they could provide a new cover, if I was interested in buying one, she dealt with semantics saying that they don't repair couches. After quite a bit of very rude discussion I did find out that I could buy a replacement cover. Why she didn't offer this straight out is a testament to how horrific this business is. Do yourself a favor ...Stay away from this company

Two days ago I purchased a bunch of vegetables, herb, and soil. I was able to go in and pay for it and then go outside and pick up my item. Two days later I go to do the same thing and they tell me, they can't do that. They say I have to pick a flatbed, go outside, get everything, pay, and then go. Two days earlier, we were instructed to do something else entirely. Needless to say, I left without buying so much as a stick of gum.I would've spent a few hundred dollars. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would…read more I ordered appliances in-store ahead of Thanksgiving, needing a new refrigerator urgently. Although I only needed the refrigerator, I was convinced to purchase the full bundle due to the price. I placed my order on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was told by the salesman that delivery could be as early as that weekend. I selected the following Friday--nine days later--because that best aligned with my work schedule. I was informed that I would receive a call on Thursday with a four-hour delivery window, followed by a call 30 minutes prior to arrival. No one ever contacted me on Thursday. I waited again all day Friday and still received no delivery window or update, despite receiving automated account text messages. When I finally called the customer service number included in one of the texts, I was told--without any prior notification--that my appliances were not being delivered at all. I had taken a full day off work to wait for appliances that had never even left the warehouse. The representative's response was, verbatim, "What do you expect? This is our busiest season." I attempted to reach the salesman who sold me the appliances, but he was unavailable. I was transferred to the manager, who at least handled the situation professionally. The following Monday, I received a call stating that the earliest delivery date available was Friday the 12th--another full week after my original scheduled date. I took yet another day off work. On Thursday I waited to receive my delivery window, which again never came. When looking for their number later in the day, I discovered that a window had been assigned, but I had never been notified. The next day I received a call from the driver stating he was 20 minutes away. I explained that my driveway is a straightforward drive down with room to turn around at the bottom. I receive regular deliveries by box trucks and even semis without any issue, including a similar box truck the week before delivering furniture. However, upon arrival, the delivery team claimed they were uncomfortable due to "icy conditions." My driveway is stone and cannot be fully cleared, but it is still completely navigable, as proven by every other delivery I receive weekly. They then offered to drop the appliances into my own vehicle and have me transport and unload them myself. When I asked if they could at least help unload at my home, they refused. I would not be able to lift full sized appliances out of a truck bed that is 3 feet off of the ground. Their manager then called to inform me that if the drivers were uncomfortable, they were not required to make the delivery--and they left with my appliances. I called the store again and was transferred to another manager who was shockingly unprofessional. She ultimately canceled my order, but informed me that my refund depends on when--and in what condition--the delivery company returns the appliances that they refused to deliver. So now, two weeks before Christmas, I have no refrigerator, have taken multiple days off work, and am at their mercy for a $2,000 refund. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing from this store to look elsewhere. The level of incompetence, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism I experienced is truly astounding.

It wasn't until after they got it home they realized it appeared used - scratched up and dusty. They had to load it back up for a return visit. The store workers didn't care, just took the return. Then we had to call back to the store to remind them to refund their deposit. Crappy thing to do to any customer, let alone the elderly.

In 2021 we were in looking for a sectional for our newly built home that would be finished in a few months. When we went into the store to purchase, we had been told our sales person was no longer with the store but another salesperson could help us. I was stunned as I was JUST in email contact with the sales person hours before. It was an awkward encounter and the sales person in front of us ignored my flabbergasted look. It seemed like everyone at the place was looking at us and talking about us. We were treated like we were peasants who knew nothing. We ended up not getting some features on the couch even though we thought we had ordered them but we weren't going to complain. We got the couch ordered and left, still feeling stunned and like we had cost someone their job. I truly can't explain the feeling in the store that day or how short and inconvenienced our sales person acted for helping us. We didn't care, we were getting our dream leather sectional! When the couch came in, we had them keep it in their warehouse until all of the pieces came in (it was a sectional and delivery times were still delayed from Covid). The sales person called my husband one day and asked if they could schedule delivery (even though they were still waiting on one piece to come in). We decided to wait for the last piece. They then asked if we wanted to pay our remaining balance so when we called to set up delivery that would already be taken care of. It didn't matter to us so my husband asked about the current financing offers. We were going to utilize their 0% financing. The current offer according to our sales person was 12 months 0% financing. My husband specifically asked for 72 months but was told they did not have that. My husband asked again and the sales person assured him that the best he could get was 12 months. Hours later both of us got an email advertisement from La-Z-Boy stating to come shop with 72 months 0% financing. Our sales person lied. My husband called and tried to get it changed but was told he couldn't even though he had not yet signed the agreement (it was set up for him to come sign in person in the store the next day). This is where the frustration begins to build. When they brought our first couch and left us with a broken couch, we didn't complain. In fact, we waited very patiently as they made us claim the broken couch on our warranty (even though it was broken en route to our place). They sent a very nice man out to help us. He was very apologetic and gave us great service (I would give him 5 stars!). Once he couldn't fix the couch (and 2 personal days off of work later) they ordered us a new one. The day this couch was going to be delivered (and a 3rd personal day off work later) we got a message from the driver that the piece was damaged. There was a large rip in the leather. We appreciated the driver letting us know and he took it back to the warehouse. My husband then contacted our sales person to see what was next. At this point we are just jaded. We just finally got the third attempt delivered and there's a rip in the fabric AGAIN. I truly couldn't believe it when my husband told me. So here we are, almost a year later from our initial delivery and we still haven't gotten to enjoy a non-damaged couch. There are other pieces that have been damaged since and we don't even want to claim since the 3 damaged pieces so far they have made us claim on our warranty and we don't want to have to deal with our bully sales person any longer. We feel like a pain but just want a couch that isn't damaged. We love La-Z-Boy and usually find them worth the price. This experience, however, we could have done without. I've come to the realization this one will never not be damaged. Next order I will definitely be doing through a different location. The picture attached is the damage on the piece that was most recently delivered.

The "price match guarantee" for 30 days post-sale is where my issue lies. Within 30 days post-sale, I found an advertised promotion at a different store that would provide an "instant" $100 off when purchasing a matching washer and dryer. I took screenshots and emailed to my sales representative in anticipation of receiving a $100 refund. Instead I was told that the other store was offering an instant "rebate" and that it wouldn't qualify as a price match. The promotion covered the exact models and colors of the w/d I had purchased. While my sales representative confirmed that the price adjustment didn't require the customer to send in any receipts- that the other store would process the "rebate," it didn't qualify for the price match guarantee because Appliance Center policy regarded it as a "rebate," albeit an "instant rebate." To me, it's a matter of semantics used by Appliance Center to avoid having to match the bottom line purchase price. I was told I could take it up with LG directly on my own. The whole thing about "price" vs "instant rebate" was very aggravating and energy-sapping. I don't believe Appliance Center recognizes its short-sighted approach to customer relationships, as its refusal to honor a $100 price difference (as I see it) left a bad taste in my mouth. Additionally, leaving it to me to approach LG without my sales representative's support sent a message of disinterest. It was a disappointing end to what was otherwise a very good experience, so I've removed one star. I nevertheless believe a 4-star rating is fair based on my overall experience, but buyers beware....
