Unfortunately, I live in the neighborhood and this is my closest home improvement store. Every time I "run in there "I regret it. The staff are incredibly un council. Two days ago I purchased a bunch of vegetables, herb, and soil. I was able to go in and pay for it and then go outside and pick up my item. Two days later I go to do the same thing and they tell me, they can't do that. They say I have to pick a flatbed, go outside, get everything, pay, and then go. Two days earlier, we were instructed to do something else entirely. Needless to say, I left without buying so much as a stick of gum.I would've spent a few hundred dollars. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I ordered appliances in-store ahead of Thanksgiving, needing a new refrigerator urgently. Although I only needed the refrigerator, I was convinced to purchase the full bundle due to the price. I placed my order on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was told by the salesman that delivery could be as early as that weekend. I selected the following Friday--nine days later--because that best aligned with my work schedule. I was informed that I would receive a call on Thursday with a four-hour delivery window, followed by a call 30 minutes prior to arrival. No one ever contacted me on Thursday. I waited again all day Friday and still received no delivery window or update, despite receiving automated account text messages. When I finally called the customer service number included in one of the texts, I was told--without any prior notification--that my appliances were not being delivered at all. I had taken a full day off work to wait for appliances that had never even left the warehouse. The representative's response was, verbatim, "What do you expect? This is our busiest season." I attempted to reach the salesman who sold me the appliances, but he was unavailable. I was transferred to the manager, who at least handled the situation professionally. The following Monday, I received a call stating that the earliest delivery date available was Friday the 12th--another full week after my original scheduled date. I took yet another day off work. On Thursday I waited to receive my delivery window, which again never came. When looking for their number later in the day, I discovered that a window had been assigned, but I had never been notified. The next day I received a call from the driver stating he was 20 minutes away. I explained that my driveway is a straightforward drive down with room to turn around at the bottom. I receive regular deliveries by box trucks and even semis without any issue, including a similar box truck the week before delivering furniture. However, upon arrival, the delivery team claimed they were uncomfortable due to "icy conditions." My driveway is stone and cannot be fully cleared, but it is still completely navigable, as proven by every other delivery I receive weekly. They then offered to drop the appliances into my own vehicle and have me transport and unload them myself. When I asked if they could at least help unload at my home, they refused. I would not be able to lift full sized appliances out of a truck bed that is 3 feet off of the ground. Their manager then called to inform me that if the drivers were uncomfortable, they were not required to make the delivery--and they left with my appliances. I called the store again and was transferred to another manager who was shockingly unprofessional. She ultimately canceled my order, but informed me that my refund depends on when--and in what condition--the delivery company returns the appliances that they refused to deliver. So now, two weeks before Christmas, I have no refrigerator, have taken multiple days off work, and am at their mercy for a $2,000 refund. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing from this store to look elsewhere. The level of incompetence, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism I experienced is truly astounding. read more

I've noticed that Home Depot stores in Ohio are lot smaller than of those in Michigan... is this by design? I've stopped here few times to grab some misc items, but one of the first things I've noticed was the store was bit smaller in footprint than those in Michigan. This store is located in heavy traffic area so be mindful of the traffic and where you park. Never interacted with the staff members, so can't comment on customer service. If you all don't rent certain things such as water pumps in winter time, maybe advertise that these items are not available even though it's advertised on your website. Wow, greeted upon arrival. We went in looking for a small kids picnic table as we saw online for a holiday gift. After looking around we couldn't locate it. Ask a few ppl turns out they were up in the rafters and needed to get it down for us. They couldn't have been more happy to do it for us. Even the Manager took us up to the checkout to make sure we were taken care. I got better service here then I have at some restaurants in Chicago! they had the best pricing for appliances but absolutely horrible deliver. the company they use is not a direct Home Depot delivery service it's a contracted company and they suck!!!!! I had to wait three weeks for my dishwasher that was in stock and almost two months for my microwave that was also in stock. All because of the delivery contractor that they use. read more

This stores customer service is horrid! We ordered new wood flooring for our kitchen and dining room through the HD flooring department. The gentleman that helped us with what we wanted was great...we paid for the flooring and it all went down hill FAST from there. there was a problem with the work order and I was told to call lRon...he was the only e that could fix it. Well we called Ron four times and left four messages with no return call. still waiting Ron! The flooring was delivered and installers out of Michigan were AMAZING! unfortunately HD sent the wrong quarter round for the wood cabinets. We called the Secor Rd. Store again...and had to talk to Ron. Well Ron didn't answer...we got back on the phone and asked a young lady to go find Ron. We finally got to talk to Ron. He said he would look in to it. Four hours later still no call back from Ron! We got upset because the installers were waiting for the quarter round...so we went to Lowe's on Central Ave. and purchased the unfinished oak quarter round. 4 1/2 hours later Ron calls back and said they don't have the quarter round...too bad Ron I already called and left you yet another voicemail. Well now HD and Ron claim that the oK quarter round wasn't ordered and that's on me. they were SO RUDE and claimed it was our fault that we didn't specify it when we most certainly did! the two pieces of Oak cost us $18.00...Home Depot is not going to credit us for that oak....so HOME DEPOT....for $18.00...YOU LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER. read more

So we went yesterday to look and buy all new appliances. No one came to us to help. I finally ask the very large man sitting playing on a computer for some help. He looked me dead in the face and said .. you should come back Wednesday when they go on sale. I said I'd like to look at combos anyway while I'm here. Did curbside pockup because i have a infant baby so for convenience i tried it out, i pull up to the curbside spot and text the app that im here, ten min go by and then two ladies cone out with 5 pieces of soffit, mind you i ordered 5 pieces of facia trim, i get out and tell them that that isnt what i ordered, i look at that soffit amd see that it is torn in several places and looks like someone beat every piece to death with a hammer. So i told them, even if this was the correct items that i ordered i would t want them because of the condition, obviously dealing with people who do t give a shit about their jobs or customer satisfaction. They then tell me that they will be back in ten minutes with my correct items, ten min go by and i recieve a call from inside the store telling me they dont have my facia trim in stock, i tell the ladt that the website says tbere are 69 of them in stock, she sends someone to go look again and puts me on hold, she then comes back to the phone and says "customer service how can i help you" so i had to reexplain who i was to her because in 5 min she must have forgot. I then drug my infant baby into the store with me to get answers. They then tell me that the material is on stick but it has to be brought down from the top shelf so it will be a while, j walked down to the aisle where thay were licking it from so i could hand pick my pieces because i lost faith that they would do it correctly and not give me tattered or dented metal. Had to sit there for another 20 min while the old man who escaped from the old folks home and got a job at home depot pulled down my order. Then they would t let me into the barricade to pick my own out for safety reasons, they load me up 5 of them that looked ok to the naked eye, i finally fet them loaded uo after getting harrased by 2 different associates trying to get me to pay for them again because they couldnt fatham how someone who payed online and did curbside would be in the store taking out their own order. I get home and look through them and two of the pieces that were in the middle of the stack have huge scrapes on them. You have lost a customer for LIFE. I entered the store at 4pm on a Thursday. There are hardly any customers and plenty of employees. Some simply talking to one another. I went to electrical looking for assistance for material for an outdoor 240v outlet. She claimed she wasn't an electrician and suggested I go to a local electrical store for help. She went back to her group conversation. I'm now in lumber department waiting to get a board cut. Asked two people for assistance. Apparently there is only one person in the store who can operate saw and he's on the hi lo in the parking lot. I think I know why there are no customers in the store. read more

I was so excited to get new kitchen cabinets.......until I decided to buy them at The Home Depot. Today marks exactly 60 days and I still don't have a complete kitchen! The customer service at Home Depot and their service provided United Home Services have been mediocre at best. Everything was fine when I purchasing $8000 of product and services, but when it came to installation, everything went south. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I ordered carpet through Home Depot (nearly $2000 worth); the store contracts through another company , Certified Flooring Installation, to install the carpet. On the day of installation nobody showed up, I called both Home Depot and Certified Flooring Installation multiple times and left multiple messages. The only answer we ever got was that they didn't know what was going on, then I would be transferred and be sent to voicemail. After two full days I had to go to Home Depot and demand to physically speak with the manager to get an answer. Turns out they lost the carpet and would have to reorder everything. I had taken two days off of work to move into our house once the carpet was installed. This was on March 30...I had to pay rent at our current place for another month ($1,000) because the carpet hadn't been installed, and I had spent hours of my time trying to get an answer. I asked them to carpet two additional rooms for free (~250 square feet, less than half as much as I was already paying for), they refused and offered me 10% off (roughly $200) of my original order. After costing me thousands of dollars, 16 hours of PTO, and screwing my entire timeline for moving into my house the best they could do is say sorry and give 10%....what a joke. I am filing complaints with the BBB and FTC. Also cancelling my Home Depot credit card...Lowe's is only another 10 minute drive, I will take my business there from now on. read more

He did nothing he stood there staring at the countertop and offered no explanation or solution to the unprofessional job that was done obviously cutting edge countertops no nothing about customer service ! I haven't heard from Home Depot about the unprofessional job that was done I won't be using Home Depot for any more of my home-improvement jobs or anything else for that matter ! read more

We do not believe that the Home Depot believes in putting customers first. It is however, important that you get our feedback to make sure you are aware that you did not not live up to your promise, and did not deliver better service to us. We purchased a granite counter top, custom order in March 2017, paid in full. We were never told in advance that Home Depot bails once they get your money, leaving you to deal with an incompetent third party business on your own. The first install had three major errors. The material was delivered cut the wrong size in two places, and cracked. This business sends sub-standard and inaccurately measured product out for installations, repeatedly, to the same house. Who sends out a crew for failure? What a waste of time & money for all of us. We had to initiate phone calls to the sub-contract business to achieve any resolution. We did not receive any help from Home Depot in resolving the issue. There was never any follow up from Home Depot to check on progress or status. We decided to go to the Home Depot store in person, once we were standing at their desk, they made the same phone calls we had already made to the third party company, not helpful. It should not be this difficult to get assistance when there is a problem with an order. The second install had material with flaws from the warehouse; the crew left us with the faucet and sink disconnected, and half the material in the trailer, not a working kitchen. Once again, we had to contact United Home Services and resolve the issue, no assistance from Home Depot. There was never any compensation for the mistakes, inconvenience, and lack of a functioning kitchen from Home Depot or UHS. The crew that showed up the third time was able to remove the flaws and finish the installation properly. The crew leader was a saving element to the entire process, very polite. We were given an estimated project time of 4 weeks, it took more than 8 weeks and three attempts. Worst experience, and will be sure to share this story repeatedly. They do not deserve any stars, had to put one to post the review. read more

HUSKY Tool warrantee - NOT honored at HD, I purchased a T-ratchet set over the holidays and it already broke. I took it into the local HD, as they are SUPPOSED to have a life time warrantee. Well HD does not warrantee them - they only sell them. I have to send the tool to Husky - if they will warrantee it -- have not gotten that far - I have been buying my tools from HD for over 40 yrs --- If I have to mail a tool in to get it warranteed, I might as well order my tools from an on-line tool place like "discount tools" or "Tooltopia" or "Zoro" and pay half the price. I will NEVER again buy a tool from HD. read more

I bought a sweeper at hope depot ( I love the sweeper) another store had it on sale a week later. Home depot told me just bring my receipt in and they would match the price. When I got to the store they argued and belittled me and my wife. They asked us to bring back our sweeper so we did. Then they said we did not buy the sweeper from them, my receipt and my Home Depot card says otherwise. The manage called me and my wife lyres and treated us like we were trash. We remodeled our kitchen. All went well until we had our countertops delivered. My wife ordered the tops from Home Depot (HD). A project manager at HD was to manage the order to the third-party countertop vender and the installation. When the countertops were initially delivered, the sink my wife ordered was incorrectly cut. We were told it would take two to three weeks to recut it. We had already waited over two weeks. We needed our kitchen back. When we called HD, we were told that the salesperson had neglected to charge us for the special sink cut, so they just decided not to make the cut. No call to us to rectify the problem. No steps by HD to try to work with the vendor to make this right. In addition to the wrong sink, the tops would not fit. This was their measurement, but it didn't work. A week later, we received the tops again: with the same unwanted sink. Once the counters were installed, we discovered a large dent in one of the sinks that almost went through the aluminum. We had to call again to have the sink replaced. We will never work with Home Depot again. read more

I had flooring put in. It was a nightmare. The job took 4 months primarily due to wrong materials. In spite of paying for delivery i had to go back twice to pick up new materials. Not sure if they were ordered wrong or shipped wrong. Should have been checked before asking me to come pick them up. The person doing my measurements noted an uneven floor. Documented that there would be a charge to level. When installers came, the left saying floor not level. I was told to find someone to level it no help w names just get it done. He also charged me for furniture removal that did not exist. When I asked that that charge be refunded was told once job was completed. Not sure why I needed to wait when I never should have been charged in first place. Once job was completed I went back to the store to talk w the store manager. I asked for a 10% refund for all of the hassles. 10 days later he had his floor manager call me back offering a $150 gift card on $6500 job. They paid the installers $45 to return wrong materials that had a value of $112. I made two trips to pick those up and received nothing. I made a special trip to talk to the manager I felt like I deserved at least a call back from him not someone that could do nothing for me. Why would I want a $150 gift card frpm a place that has treated me so poorly. I will not be back. read more
