Whatever the reason for missing the appointment, the least they could have done was notify me and cancel or reschedule. Instead, they showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for my time. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I had 2 levels of flooring replaced with LVP. The basement was great - because it was on slab. They…read moredid the main level of my home and the LVP constantly gapped. I called their people out multiple times to get it fixed, which only ended up being a temporary solution. After a year, it's also gapping on the sides. I called the owner several times to get him out here to fix it. He said we should have bought hardwood (for the kitchen?) because they nail down the flooring. The main level flexes where the most walking occurs, so because we bought that, the gapping is our fault (what??). He could have informed us of that in his original quote and we would have purchased a fix so this wouldn't have been an issue. He said since it was over a year, he could have someone come out to fix it at a discount, but was pretty terrible at getting back to me with any date/times. We also have mis-matched pieces because they didn't get the right color for one or two boxes. They did a wonderful job with the hardwood on the stairs and the stain matching for the quarter round. I still wouldn't recommend them or work with them again. I'm having to hire a new contractor to completely replace the floors on the main level. I'm out $3000+

Handyman Oscar should up 20 minutes early for my 8 am appointment and began to gather his work supplies. He entered my home with the protective booties, assessed the damage, then carefully covered everything in the room and began the job of repairing the water damage to my bedroom ceiling. He did a great job removing the nasty old caulk around my tub and recaulking and I can also rest easy knowing that the bird family making a nest in my exterior air intake will no longer be able to call that home. Additionally, the on-site team lead provided great communication before, during, and after completion of the project as well as pictures along the way. He and his colleague worked diligently for three days and made sure the closets were perfectly straight (even though my walls and floors are not) and very securely installed. I had one room in the basement, and everything went well. Great product, great price, and fast installation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Danzco was recommended by a good friend, who I know would only except perfection. Dan, the owner,…read morecame to do an estimate. He seemed like a straight up guy. I was quoted a fair price that was consistent with my other 2 estimates. The estimate included hardwood floors in my family room, on my steps, and in the upstairs hallway. Also, they would put on baseboard and shoe molding, sand and seal the floors, and then apply 2 coats of oil based polyurethane. I was away on vacation when the men came to do the work. When I came home (late Saturday evening) I was appalled at the sloppy job that was done. I immediately called Dan and left him a text message. He came out Monday morning. He seemed pretty upset about the work that was done. He said he would come back and fix everything. The following problems needed to be fix: 1. the baseboard molding: none of the corners touched, some of the baseboard was cut to short and there was a broken piece. 2. The polyurethane coating: it was clumpy in some areas 3. The transition pieces: a number of them were cracked and they never put a transition piece between the hallway and my bathroom 4. Chips and gaps: a number of the floor boards were chipped and there were major gaps between some of the boards 5. The steps: These were a disaster. There were gaps between the steps and risers, many of the wood pieces were cut to short. They used a non matching orange wood putty to fill in mistakes and also used white caulk (which was not approved for use on wood floors). Dan and his son came out for 2 days to try and fix it. They fixed most of the molding, however one piece they cut was cracked in half and we had to glue it back together and the molding inside the upstairs closet still does not look right. They replaced 2 transition pieces and installed a transition piece between the bathroom and hallway. They fixed some of the gaps on the floors, but used a darker wood putty that did not match the color of my floor. The steps still had gaps and looked awful. My husband and I had to spend two days fixing the steps, putting putty in the gaps, staining the putty to match the floors, then applying two coats of oil based polyurethane on the steps and entire upstairs hallway. After our hard work they look ok, but are not perfect. The entire process was extremely stressful and very time consuming for my husband and myself. It cost us time, money, and a great deal of personal stress. All of this could have been avoided if we went with another company I would never recommend Danzco and suggest that you choose another company.

The second day I wasn't around and the doors were never shut so dust got everywhere but they did clean up some. The third day they seemed to just not care anymore because they were 3 hours late, made more of a mess, didn't clean it up, and left the house without telling me. I still don't know if they are to come back. Overall, the finished product was OK but I've seen better. This is a fine example of how small businesses fail. From beginning to end, the customer should experience complete satisfaction in the work they paid for. This includes the professionalism of the workers, which is part of the finished product. I found that part lacking.
