Found Madera Floors through Yelp. They were the only ones willing to do my little 16x7 cargo trailer flooring project and charged me a very reasonable flat rate. After they completed the job in about three hours, here's a picture as well as the note I sent to their management... "Hey Marielis. Just paid the invoice. Wanted you to know that your team crushed it! So excited to see it. They really made my dream come true on the floor for that trailer. Thank you so much. When we are ready to look at re-tiling our bathrooms, we will be giving you a call." Additionally, the on-site team lead provided great communication before, during, and after completion of the project as well as pictures along the way. They also showed extreme attention to detail in finishing out the circular corners in the very back of the trailer. If you couldn't tell already, I am extremely pleased with how this turned out! read more

Madera Floors - This is my 16x7 trailer that Madera Floors did an amazing job installing my pet proof vinyl flooring. - Flooring Near Me

Okay y'all! Lemme just tell you how much I love my floors! I needed flooring and found this place. I spoke with Mariellis and she took care of me. She educated me on all the different options. I really wanted to get vinyl flooring and after she told me the value of hard wood floors, I'm so happy I went with that decision. I love that she was patient and extremely knowledgeable and professional, she was actually really funny as well. She got me rolling. Installation took two days to complete...it was perfect. The installers were top notch! They took their time and made sure everything was covered for dust. They were so sweet and kind. Madera Floors made it an easy process...and I didn't break the bank! The price was right for the quality and my floors are FUEGO!!!! Yasssssssss!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! read more

I had an incredible experience working with Madera Floors! I was under a time crunch to install 1000 sq feet of LVP + Underlayment before moving into my condo and they exceeded all my expectations. They were able to promptly schedule an estimate and Javier was very honest and calculated in his assessment of the work to be done. Their pricing and timelines were far more competitive than other contractors I shopped around for. I could tell Carlos and his crew took pride in their work. The space where flooring was installed has lots of corners and smaller spaces but all trim and flooring was set perfectly. My condo was left cleaned and the appliances ready to be plugged in. Mariellis runs a great ship, it was a pleasure to work with her. read more

Marielis was fantastic to work with. I had a very specific type of flooring in mind and she was able to source this beautiful heart of pine reclaimed flooring that fits our home perfectly. She was good about communicating scheduling changes, when they arose, and was very punctual when coming for the estimate and throughout the entire project. You can tell she really cares about quality and craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Madera Floors. read more

Madera installed hardwood floors in two bedrooms and did a great job. They were professional, skilled, and on time. I would use them again.

Marielis and her team did a wonderful job refinishing our floors. Everyone was kind and professional. Our floors turned out better than expected since our floors were really in bad shape. Marielis was easy to contact and gave great advice. I'm looking forward to the day when I can get our stairs refinished to match our floors. Thank you Madera Floors! read more

Oh my gosh, I can't believe how good my floors look! My house - including part of my wood floor - got damaged in Hurricane Sandy. The damaged part needed to be stripped, sanded, and re-finished. I decided to have the entire floor re-finished, and re-stained (as the floors had probably not been refinished in decades). Since I was working with my insurance company, I needed a professional, official quote to present to them. Other flooring contractors I talked to could not provide this to me. Madera provided me a professional estimate (which seemed very reasonable to me), and was patient as I worked with my insurance company to get the estimate approved. They were very professional in the days leading up to the job, telling me exactly what I should expect and how I should prepare. When I saw the finished job, I was astounded. I never imagined the floors would look that good - it was like I was looking at a picture in a home design magazine! I've been admiring them for three weeks now, and I haven't seen a single thing wrong. The job seems perfect, down to every detail. If you have wood floors that you need finished or re-finished, I highly recommend Madera Floors. read more

Madera floors was professional, courteous, thoughtful and punctual. They bent over backwards to accommodate our tight timing. They refinished one floor in our house and removed carpet on the second floor and replaced it with matching wood. The work was impeccable and we are extremely happy. I cannot recommend them enough. Added bonus: they are a local and family run business. read more

Installed new hardwood flooring on the top floor of our 3-level townhouse and refinished existing flooring on main floor. Stairs too. The 1-star penalty comes from the fact that they rushed to complete a room without informing us of a pre-existing problem with the underfloor structure which we weren't aware of. They attempted to fix the resulting squeaks later, which caused some delays. Our house is still not squeak-free, but it's manageable. Communication with Javier was good, he did a great job explaining what the plan was and provided updates. Side note: we have a good friend whose judgment I trust, who owns a flooring company, unfortunately far away from here. When he visited us he made a point to explain how good of a job our flooring guys did for us. read more

Madera Floors came highly recommended by an antique lumber supplier to restore our 120 year old pine floors, but unfortunately we never had the opportunity to work with Javier because he didn't show up for the scheduled consultation - or even follow up later to reschedule! With so many other flooring companies available in the area, I'll keep looking. read more

My parents were planning on selling their house, so they needed to have the floors redone. After shopping around a bit, they found Madera floors prices to be competitive. They did a good job answering what questions my parents had, were on time & courteous. All in all, Madera floors did a good job, and my parents were satisfied with their work. They would definitely recommend them to friends and family. read more

I couldn't be happier with my newly refinished living room hardwood floors! Madera Floors did a fantastic job. The owners are pleasant to work with and explained the entire process down to the last detail. In just 3 days, my entire living room has been transformed. They provided me with a very reasonable estimate and I was confident that they were knowledgable about the process involved. With so many competing companies out there, look no further than Madera Floors. read more

Javier and his crew were very professional, on time, clean, and did a fantastic job. We are very very please with the outcome. We had Engineered flooring that was finished in the factory, if you want the job done correctly sanding it down to bare wood is the only way to go. Thanks for everything Ben read more

Biggest mistake of my life. I contracted them in July to refinish my hardwood floors. The first time they came, they didn't make any effort to keep all of the sawdust out of my new HVAC system and the ducts were clogged with it. They also left chatter marks in several areas, the worst of which was a large "T" section that extended from the stairs to the front room, which they later attributed to "problems" they had with that particular sandpaper. Even thought the owner, Javier Flores, offered to redo the section (and put the offer in writing) while picking up the check for the balance, I couldn't get him to actually send the offer until several weeks later when I finally threatened a chargeback on my credit card. When they arranged to come back on September 15th, they never showed and didn't return my phone call. It wasn't until the next day after I threatened a chargeback again that they came. After doing a test area and realizing that they couldn't match the color at all, they completely refinished the entire floor again but only addressed the chatter marks in the front room and did not fix the chatter marks between the stairs and the front room. They also messed up 2 areas in the front room (it appears that they missed it with the stain and the first two coats of polyurethane) and again didn't bring disposable filters to protect the HVAC system even though Mr. Flores assured me after the first time that they keep them on the truck just for this purpose. To make matters even worse, they didn't protect my stairs this time and got stain all over the bottom of my brand new top-of-the-line carpeting. I waited all day on Saturday the 20th for Mr. Flores to come out and inspect the problem areas but he never came. He also didn't come on Monday the 22nd, the day for which he requested we reschedule. My only recourse now is to take them to court. read more

It's been two years since Madera refinished my floors and it still looks great! They had came on time and finished the work within one week as planned. When I had some concerns they were very professional responded immediately to all my concerns. read more

These guys are not BBB Accredited you can see this simply by clicking on the BBB icon on their own site. He's not very professional and one man showed up to make the sale, but a lesser experienced person did the work. Like a bait and switch. Needless to say the work quality was poor in attention to detail. BE WARNED!!! read more

These guys are great. We recently had Madera refinish the floors in a new home from a white oak to a dark walnut stain, and they look beautiful. The owner, Javier, is great to work with, knows his stuff, and is very straightforward. The work took exactly as long as they said it would. The pricing was also very fair compared to other quotes we received. Would definitely use their services again and recommend to anyone else. We were very pleased with the work done on our floors by Madera Floors. Our old carpet was skillfully removed from the stairs and landing. Excellent customer service and the job was done quickly. Workers sanded and finished our old floors and they look like new. The two workers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend them. read more

Madera Floors did an excellent job. We had floors that a previous contractor had done a horrible job on (mixed stain with poly and "painted" it on). My test for Javier and Oscar was whether I had to tell them what the problem was. I didn't. They looked at the floor and just said, "yeah, we're going to have to take all this off and start over again." They stripped and sanded the floor, popped it to take the stain, and buffed it off properly before applying a very smooth, no grit, poly finish. It looked absolutely beautiful when they were done and is a pleasure to walk on with bare feet. Like night and day. They came when they said they would and finished on time. And they were flexible with coming back for the shoe molding after the baseboards and drywall were finished. Highly recommend. read more

Madera Floors refinished our original, 115-year-old floors in Herndon, VA. They turned out beautifully. The floors were in very bad shape - they had been painted over and carpeted, and neglected for many, many years. Now, they look splendid. The guys working in the home were courteous and professional. Some extra repairs of the floors were needed, and the guys completed the work still in the expected timeline. Highly recommended. read more
