With fear in mind we called B &B Home Improvements and Botar (the Owner) answered the phone and said he would come the following the day to give us a Free estimate and if we liked his price and we liked him he would go ahead with the work. He came by this morning and gave us some great advice for the trim we had bought for him to install. He suggested that we go a little bigger because it would look a lot better once everything including the carpet was put in. He measured everything out in a matter of minutes and gave us a great estimate. We were still hesitant but had a good vibe from Botar and really appreciated his professional opinion. After all, he was not making any money on the materials. So we took him up on his estimate, he said he would get the work done by 8PM the same day! He also took my boyfriend to pick up the bigger pieces of material since we did not have a truck and had rented one the day before to transport the materials. Normally any contractor would charge you extra for this but he did not. He had another worker show up (Aidee) and he was such a nice person and he got right to work while they ran to Home Depot to pick new materials up. Before we knew it the work was all done at approximately 3:00PM including his clean up work and vacuuming. The trim work looks so great that we KNOW we will be calling Botar and his crew back to do much more work on our first home. Good to know there is still quality, honest and hard working contractors out there. I would recommend B&B to any family and friends and to any of you! Their prices are unbeatable too!

Over the course of 3 days, the team repaired significant drywall damage and painted roughly 2200 square feet. The attention to detail was much appreciated. The team did an amazing job of managing the dust from the drywall sanding. There was almost no trace of dust considering the amount of sanding that had to be done. You can't put a price on their tidiness at the end of their work day. I've come home to a house in disarray in the past during work, but not with this team. In terms of price. They are extremely reasonable. Once again, there are things that the team did that you cannot quantify that make the money worth spending. 5 stars for Alliance!

Alex came to our house and gave us an estimate to repair our front steps and told us they would last a very long time. A few days later, his workers showed up, unannounced, asking what they needed to do. I told them I have no idea, and my husband is not home, and to coordinate a time with him. A few days later (on a Sunday), they showed up unannounced again! My husband was out again! They asked me to pick a paint color and I asked if that is included in the price we were quoted and they said they didn't know. As I was trying to figure that out, it came out that they don't think repairing the stairs is a good idea and they can't even guarantee they won't break again for even 3 days. I asked if it would be a lot more expensive to redo the whole thing and they said it would be exponentially more expensive. I told them we'll talk to Alex and get back to them. 30 minutes later, Alex calls my husband screaming at him! He told him that we shouldn't ask his contractors about prices and that he doesn't work that way and that we should find someone else to work with and hung up the phone on my husband! He was literally screaming at my husband on the phone. And then hung up on him. There are so many issues with our experience starting with the fact that the workers kept showing up without prior notice and asking a lot of questions as if they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. And then of course the fact that he was trying to scam us into doing something that he knew might not even last the week. And then finally, calling my husband and screaming at him and hanging up on him because his workers were asking us a lot of questions?! It's just been an atrocious experience. I recommend avoiding him at all costs. UPDATE: Alex is now threatening my husband over text messages because of our review. We are just stating facts. He said we are inappropriate to contact him on a Sunday when it was his contractors who showed up at our doorstep, unannounced, on a Sunday, and we were just calling to clear things up with him because they had no idea what they were supposed to do and were asking me a lot of questions. He also accused us of trying to strike a deal with his subcontractors, something that didn't cross our minds for one second. We were just trying to figure out if the paint his contractors were making me choose was included in the estimate he provided us.

Every job he's done for us has gone beyond our expectations. He helped us tear down the panel walls and ceilings in a bedroom to get rid of a strong smell left by the previous owner, and then installed new drywall in both guest rooms. He worked efficiently, paid attention to details, and cleaned up everything thoroughly. We were so happy with the results that we asked him to install quarter round throughout the house, put in a bathroom door, and redo the floors in our powder room. He even helped with a few extra things just out of kindness. The backsplash he installed in our kitchen made such a difference. It completely brightened up the space and gave it a fresh, clean look.
