I had two showers that were pretty moldy/mildew-y, especially since one was in a bathroom that only recently had an exhaust fan installed. I reached out to Brendan for a quote for cleaning up both the grout and caulk, and his communication was quick and clear. He was flexible with scheduling, and the end result of the project was great! The showers both look so much better than when we moved in, and the price felt very reasonable for the work being done. I would highly recommend. read more

I had a small tile repair job that needed to be done after some plumbing was done in my shower. It was nothing complex, but not something I wanted to do myself. After sending the inquiry, I immediately got an email back from Brendan with a quote. The price was more than reasonable especially given there weren't many service providers willing to do such a small job, and the next lowest quote I received was close to double what NoVa was going to charge. Brendan was also willing to come to Washington DC (Though he did request that I cover his parking expense at $25 which I thought was a reasonable request). The job was done quickly - took less than an hour. The grout matches the existing shower grout exactly, and I can't tell the tile was replaced. So that's all I could ask for. I would definitely use this service again. read more

Very easy to set up appointment and get pricing. Brandon was on time and the pricing was spot on. He did 6 bathrooms and a foyer and the grout all looks new. Highly recommend. read more

Horrible job. Caulk immediately molded underneath. Painted my brand new grout with some kind of weak paint that can't be cleaned without peeling off. Do not hire. Every penny wasted. read more

Excellent quality work. The new grout makes a big difference when the house is on the market. Brendan is very responsive. Reasonable upfront pricing. read more

NoVA Grout Works did a great job cleaning/sealing the tiles and grout in my bathroom. Brendan responded quickly and was meticulous and professional in completing the work. I had a great experience with NoVa Grout Works. I contacted them via email a few weeks ago and sent photos of my shower, which desperately needed the grout renewed, and new caulk and seals for the floor and wall joints as well as the shower glass. Brendan showed up on time on the appointed day, and within about three hours had my shower looking better than I ever recall it looking. I'd enthusiastically recommend his services to anyone who needs grout or tile work, and I plan on using him again for some other bathroom projects. read more

I engaged this firm to clean and seal the grout in my kitchen, adjoining areas, and powder room. Brandon was very professional and respectful of my property. My floors look like they did when newly installed. His price was reasonable, and I am so impressed that I plan to have him seal my tiles in my bathroom later this year. read more

Brendan cleaned tile and regrouted two bathrooms and the kitchen sink area, plus cleaned and sealed the tile floors in both bathrooms. The price was very fair and the results were spectacular. Our bathrooms and kitchen sink area now look like they were newly installed just yesterday. Brendan's a busy guy, so don't wait until the last minute to get your quote! read more

Brendan and Chris did an amazing job cleaning and sealing all of the grout in my tile throughout my house and replacing caulk in my bathrooms. They did the whole house in less than four hours at a very reasonable cost. The house looks so much better and I'm thrilled with the transition in all of these areas that bothered me. I thought for sure I'd need to replace the tile but now it all has new life. I highly recommend NoVa Grout Works! read more

We had a leak from our shower and determined it was due to a huge crack in our grout work. We immediately looked up some of the bigger companies in the area and tried to set up appointments. Unfortunately they weren't able to accommodate until the new year so we kept looking. While looking on Yelp and Checkbook, I came across NOVA Grout Works and saw their stellar reviews so I reached out. Brendan, the owner, called me back within a few hours and we were able to set up a meeting for a quote. He was professional, quick, and thoughtful and took the time to answer all our questions and give us all the different options. We decided to officially book an appointment and a week later our shower grout was redone and edges resealed all around the shower and tub. Highly recommended! read more

I got three bids for cleaning and sealing the tile and grout in my two bathrooms, plus readhering three tiles in my kitchen. NoVa Grout Works bid was $5 more than one of the bidders and almost half of the other company. I was impressed with Brendan's knowledge and enthusiasm. One of the bidders said he couldn't seal the grout in one of my bathrooms, because the tiles were so small and would take too long to do. Brendan has a product that wipes over the whole floor, sealing the grout, then he polishes the tile. My upstairs bathroom was so white when he was done that it practically hurt my eyes with the glare! Not only did he do a great job on the tiles, but also he did a fantastic job recaulking around my tub, shower, sinks, and toilets...so smooth and even. Two of the companies said they couldn't guarantee that my kitchen tiles would not loosen and that the grout would stay in. Brendan said he could guarantee it, but that I had to have access to spare tiles in case they broke when he was taking them up. I got them up with a metal spatula and he glued them down with something like "hard as nails" and then filled in the spaces around them with grout, plus many other places on the floor that were missing grout. After it dries and hardens Brendan is going to come back to color it to match the rest of the grout, which has turned a dark grey. I highly recommend Brendan and NoVa Grout Works for a very professional job at a reasonable price. read more

Brendan did a wonderful job on our master bathroom. He was thorough and patient (even worked with us on getting the correct color-matching for our grout). He takes great pride in his workmanship -- our master bathroom truly looks and feels brand new! Most definitely and highly recommend. read more

NoVa did a great job even before they came. They were constantly communicating with us regarding details, what he needed from the space and costs. We were able to hand the bathroom over to him and not worry about a thing. He worked all day and cleaned up after himself. The bathroom looked beautiful! read more

We initially contacted GroutWorks, in hopes of having a few cracked tiles in our home repaired/replaced; however, quickly learned the company's skillset included cleaning the grout of all tiles at a very reasonable price, resulting in an overall finished look beyond our expectations! In addition to appreciating Brendan's immediate response to our initial call (where he clearly managed expectations related to cost/time/etc), we were also very pleased by the quality of work performed by Brendan and his colleague, Stephanie! They arrived promptly as scheduled and took great care to complete the job within promised timeframe, along with taking extra care to not leave any dirt/miscellaneous particles behind! The company is licensed, bonded and insured, which along with the many outstanding reviews from past customers, gave us confidence they would be a great match for our needs. It's clear GroutWorks excellent reputation is well-deserved and we were pleased to have found such a quality company! We look forward to using the company in the future and without hesitation, recommend them to others! read more

High marks for friendliness and responsiveness on an early Saturday morning. The result looks good but justifying the value not easy. $300 for 1.5 hours to seal and caulk. That's $200 per hour. I was lazy and did not shop around. I expected grout to be removed but I guess caulking over it solves the problem. I hope this investment last 6-8 years. read more

Brandon did a great job cleaning, grouting, and caulking my bathtub tile! He also cleaned up the grout lines on my floor tile. He was very friendly and professional, always fully explaining everything in a way that made me feel confident that the problems I had before (moldy, cracked caulking, and water seeping behind tile) would not recur. He was reasonably priced. I recommend him! read more

I noticed that the caulking in my shower was cracking. I, foolishly it turns out, went on Youtube and Home Depot and tried to fix it myself. No surprise, I failed. I went on Yelp and received a response from Brendan very quickly. While the price was a little higher than some of the other options, he was the first to offer to come give a free estimate. Since the job was simpler than the initial estimate over the phone he offered to perform maintenance on the tile in my kitchen and bathroom to make it worth my while. I appreciated this as other providers were going to charge me nearly the same for just doing my bathtub. Brendan even came over later when I needed something extra done free of charge. I can recommend NoVa Grout Works, Brendan did a great job and was friendly. read more
