We brought our BMW to Integrity 1st Automotive on Belmont in Lakewood because it was idling rough and showing drivetrain malfunction warnings after rodents had chewed some wiring (which had already been professionally repaired before we arrived). After dropping the car off, communication was very slow and we had to repeatedly call for updates. After a few days, we were told the vehicle needed spark plugs, an ignition coil, and an induction service. When that didn't fix the issue, we were told to replace the turbocharger boost sensor, then the mass air flow sensor. After spending $1,409, the car was still doing the exact same thing as when we brought it in. Near the end of the process, the shop found a hole in the intake tubing and wanted to charge $600 to repair it. While they did agree to split that cost, it added to our frustration because it felt like the real problem was never clearly diagnosed from the start. We were even told to "drive it through the weekend and see if it works," which did not inspire confidence. To make matters worse, when we picked the car up we discovered the windshield washer tubing had been broken off, something that worked fine before the visit. We also noticed new rattling/chattering noises under the hood as if it wasn't properly put back together. At this point, we are left with an unreliable vehicle, a large bill, and the original problem unresolved. This experience did not reflect the level of integrity the company name promises, and we felt frustrated and taken advantage of throughout the process. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve diagnostic practices, communication, and quality control so other customers don't have the same experience we did. Lastly, I received an email from the Vice President, Andrew Wheeler, checking in a week after we got our car back. Basically checking in to see how the car was running. I wrote him back a lengthy email listing all that had happened and asking for them to make it right. I never heard back. I also called and left a message. Never heard back. Think twice before taking your car to Integrity 1st in Lakewood.

So, I expected just under $100 all out. When I arrived, I was told that the $89 wasn't full synthetic Mobile 1, and that was $124 plus $13 for the additional quart. But, I had already committed to being there, so go ahead. It needed an air filter, so that was an extra $15 or so. He couldn't figure out how to check the cabin filter, so he just skipped it. At the end of the day, it was $170 after the coupon. When I looked at the invoice, there was a separate $14 charge for the oil filter and a $6 shop fee. When I inquired about why I was charged for the oil filter, he said that it is no longer included at Take 5. In my 30 years of owning cars, the filter is included in the price of the oil change everywhere I have gone. Overall, I should have taken it to a regular shop that charges $120 all in or the $87 that I could've gotten the oil plus better quality filters at AutoZone. I won't return to a company that relies upon scams, hidden fees, and misleading customers.

I even ask for some extra help like tire pressure checks / refills every now and then. They've always handled all of our issues with care. The staff doesn't ever try upselling me anything and they are always prompt and timely. I've showed up every time without an appointment and they've never turned me away nor have I had to wait very long. I also like that the location is convenient with parking. You can pull around the back or side of the shop and park until you speak with the team. Maurino was the tech I worked with on my most recent visit and he was awesome. Highly recommend this shop and thank you Maurino for taking such great care of us.

My girlfriend, of course, didn't want to replace just ONE tire. Nope--she wanted all four. And these aren't exactly normal-sized tires. Her truck is huge, and the tires are MASSIVE, so I was convinced there was no way they'd have four of them in stock. But they did! They looked up several options that would fit and gave us a pretty reasonable price considering the size of the tires. They told us it would take about an hour and a half, so we walked over to Chuy's and grabbed something to eat. The shop closed at 7:00, and they had everything finished right on time. Apparently, we also earned a little bit of fame--the pothole managed to create the biggest hole they've ever recorded in a tire at that store. Thanks, Dallas! Definitely recommend Firestone. I also felt like there was an attempt to upsell me on things I didn't need. I would recommend asking for a detailed breakdown of everything you're being charged for before agreeing to the service. Upon completion I was told my car battery needed to be replaced with that and labor costing ~$340 to be done. I decided to go to autozone after to test my battery and it came back at 100% functioning as well as the alternator which I was told was unable to fully be checked till the battery situation was resolved. I am disappointed in the service and had to pay ~40 to be told the above when come to find out it is working fine. I went in alone as a woman and I am not sure if this was taken advantage of but this is not right. I would not recommend this place after this experience.
