So, I expected just under $100 all out. When I arrived, I was told that the $89 wasn't full synthetic Mobile 1, and that was $124 plus $13 for the additional quart. But, I had already committed to being there, so go ahead. It needed an air filter, so that was an extra $15 or so. He couldn't figure out how to check the cabin filter, so he just skipped it. At the end of the day, it was $170 after the coupon. When I looked at the invoice, there was a separate $14 charge for the oil filter and a $6 shop fee. When I inquired about why I was charged for the oil filter, he said that it is no longer included at Take 5. In my 30 years of owning cars, the filter is included in the price of the oil change everywhere I have gone. Overall, I should have taken it to a regular shop that charges $120 all in or the $87 that I could've gotten the oil plus better quality filters at AutoZone. I won't return to a company that relies upon scams, hidden fees, and misleading customers.

I even ask for some extra help like tire pressure checks / refills every now and then. They've always handled all of our issues with care. The staff doesn't ever try upselling me anything and they are always prompt and timely. I've showed up every time without an appointment and they've never turned me away nor have I had to wait very long. I also like that the location is convenient with parking. You can pull around the back or side of the shop and park until you speak with the team. Maurino was the tech I worked with on my most recent visit and he was awesome. Highly recommend this shop and thank you Maurino for taking such great care of us.

We called ahead and spoke with a young man who was incredibly nice and told us to ask for him when we arrived. I really wish I could remember his name--it was either Jr., Justin, Jason... or I could be completely wrong. Either way, he was super helpful from the moment we walked in. My girlfriend, of course, didn't want to replace just ONE tire. Nope--she wanted all four. And these aren't exactly normal-sized tires. Her truck is huge, and the tires are MASSIVE, so I was convinced there was no way they'd have four of them in stock. But they did! They looked up several options that would fit and gave us a pretty reasonable price considering the size of the tires. They told us it would take about an hour and a half, so we walked over to Chuy's and grabbed something to eat. The shop closed at 7:00, and they had everything finished right on time. Apparently, we also earned a little bit of fame--the pothole managed to create the biggest hole they've ever recorded in a tire at that store. Thanks, Dallas! Definitely recommend Firestone. I initially brought my car in because my check engine light kept coming on and I was also having an issue with my AC. They told me the battery was the problem and assured me replacing it would address the warning light. I agreed to have it replaced for the convenience of getting it done that day, even though the total was around $355 for the battery service. My check engine light came back on the very next day. They also tried to charge me an additional corrosion cleaning fee during the battery replacement. I questioned the charge and asked for it to be removed because I knew there was no damaged wiring or additional repair involved--it was corrosion around the battery terminals being cleaned during the battery replacement. The charge felt like an unnecessary add-on, and the interaction left me wondering whether they assumed I wouldn't question it because I'm a woman. I know enough about cars to know when something doesn't make sense, which is why I pushed back and had the charge removed. The AC situation was even more frustrating. From the beginning, I specifically told them I suspected there could be a leak. About five hours after dropping my car off, someone called and told me they had tested the system, there was no leak, and it simply needed refrigerant. I asked multiple times to confirm there was no leak because I made it very clear that I did not want to pay to refill the system if it was leaking. Only after being assured there was no leak did I authorize them to fill it. Then, shortly before closing, I received another call saying they had to keep my car because there actually WAS a leak. When I explained the earlier conversation, I was told they had no idea who had spoken to me. They still wanted to charge me per ounce for the refrigerant I had only authorized because I had repeatedly been assured there was no leak. Between the attempted additional charge, conflicting information about my AC, lack of accountability for who gave me that information, and my check engine light returning the day after I was assured the battery was the issue, I completely lost confidence in the service and pricing here. The one positive part of my experience was the mechanic I ultimately spoke with. He was kind, straightforward, and honest about what was actually going on, and I genuinely appreciated that. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me feeling taken advantage of, and I will not be returning.
