This shop scheduled an appointment on 6/16/2015 to install door panel and window tinting due to someone breaking into the vehicle. The vehicle was dropped at 9AM. Time was approaching to closing when we placed a call as we didn't hear from them. They first indicated they didn't have enough time to detail the vehicle, which we declined because I have to be at work in Fresno @ 830PM. Then they stated that they are having trouble installing the tint and I will not be getting the car back til the next morning. Call ended. Results: Loss of Job or Disciplinary Action. I will no longer recommend nor use this shop. read more

My truck was taken and we called the sheriff, when it was found the sheriff had it towed to rich's, not only did they charge us double the amount for towing, but one of their employees broke our key off in the ignition and then drilled out the ignition with out permission to do so. Now they don't want to fix it. We will probably end up in civil court to get fair and just treatment!!! read more

My car was in an accident about 2 weeks ago so I had my car towed to Rich's. They told me a claims adjuster for my insurance would be out the following Tuesday. I check in and the adjuster didn't come. They told me they also might come Thursday. So on Thursday I go in again and the say the adjuster still has come, try again on Tuesday. Again nothing. At this point I'm fed up so I decided I'm going to just pick up my car and go elsewhere. Little did I know that they were charging me $50 a day to hold my car while I was waiting for their adjuster to come up with an estimate. They were charging me to wait on someone who may or may not even show up to make an estimate so that they can fix my car. So $800 dollars of waiting later I will not be taking my vehicles back to Rich's Auto-Body. I would suggest against anyone paying to wait for someone to do their job. read more

A trip to the body shop after an accident is something that I'm sure no one looks forward to. Recently I was tasked with taking my truck into Richs Auto body, after my truck was involved in an accident. The stress of being in an accident and worry about my truck never being the same was quickly melted away after talking to Robert. He was the adjuster who assured me that my truck would be returned to me as if the accident had never happened. He was professional and reassuring, which I appreciated. My truck was worked on by a gentleman named Bobby, he blew my expectations out of the water with the repairs done to my truck. There was not even a hint of damage or of any work to have been done, my truck essentially looked brand new. They washed, polished and cleaned my truck inside and out, its safe to say it was the cleanest my truck had been since it drove off the dealers lot when it was brand new. From the helpful girls in the office to the adjusters, to the men doing the body work, Richs Autobody exceeded my expectations and made a loyal customer out of me. They were quick to respond on any questions that I had while my truck was being worked on and gave me updates when necessary. I hope to never be in another accident but if I am, I will be going back. The front office girls are very nice. But don't let that fool you into thinking this is the place.I had a car accident where someone ran a stop sign and t-boned me. Referred there by my insurance. 1st mistake. After Rich's had my car I could never get a correct answer on how the repairs were coming and when would my car get done. EVERY SINGLE TIME I called my assigned service person, he would give me an update on a car (about the damage when the parts would be in etc) that wasn't even my car! EVERY TIME I CALLED!! After listening to the newest update on 'my' car I would then say "when did my car get that damage?" Then here would be silence.....and he would put me on hold, then come back and ask me "who am I talking to?" So the clencher came when I called on a Wed and was told the car was done except for buffing the new paint and it would be ready Friday. I called on Thursday to let "him" know someone would be picking up the car in the afternoon the next day. He tells me the car is not ready-that they just got the "rear end" parts in and they would'nt even beable to paint the car for another two weeks and it would be at least a week after that before I could pick it up. I reminded him of the conversation we had the day before when he told me the car would be ready Friday. Quoting HIM talking to me, he says " I talked to you yesterday? and told you the car would be ready tomorrow??" I said yes you did. I called my husband near tears and asked him to deal with this-I couldn't take anymore. He called Rich's and got the car back. The clock was not set, but someone did set my radio ( Mexican music stations). The automatic transmission doesn't feel the same when shifting gears either. Take it back to Rich's? No way in Hell. I can't stand to look at the car now let alone drive it so I am trading it in next weekend if all goes well. Thanks Rich's Autobody. read more
