The front desk was very friendly and patient in helping me with check-in as a new patient, despite being a busy time at the office when I arrived. Shout out to Arlene and Belina! I had my teeth cleaned by the hygienist, Shaleen, and she was wonderful! So caring and welcoming. Before she cleaned by teeth she also explained what my X-rays were showing just to know my baseline and what the office will continue to monitor. They have really high-tech gear at this office and she was able to do imaging right there in the chair as well! I needed a few things done, not just a cleaning, and feel like I saw the whole office in one day. Which I am glad to have received the full experience because it just solidified how awesome this practice is! The dental assistants I saw, Trina and Mary, were very kind and helpful to explain each step of the process. I really appreciate the transparency of the staff. (Like 30+ years) I was lucky that everything I needed to get done was "fixable" but after the tooth pain set it, it took be weeks to actually call and set up the appt. From the first phone call, to checking in, meeting with the Dr. Grey BEFORE he even examined me, to the exam, to meeting with the financial coordinator to actually scheduling the procedure (3 root canals and 3 crowns+ a cleaning), I left the office feeling already so confident in them and nothing had even been done yet!! Three weeks ago I had my sedated procedure and yesterday I had my permanent crowns put on! What an amazing experience!! I had lost several front teeth and needed implants, and Dr. Wachtel handled the whole process with such warmth and compassion that it made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. She clearly cared about getting the outcome right -- not just functionally, but in a way that restored my confidence. Dr. Wachtel has since moved on, and the staff from my time there has likely turned over completely -- but what impressed me recently is that the current team was just as wonderful. When I reached out years later needing help obtaining my old records for an ongoing medical case, they were responsive, helpful, and went out of their way to assist me without hesitation. Everyone there is incredibly patient and thorough. They never rush you and they take the time to explain everything in detail - not just "you need this done," but the why, the benefits, and all your options. It feels like true education instead of a sales pitch, which makes you feel respected and in control of your own care. The front desk staff (shout-out to the wonderful lady who always greets us) is genuinely sweet and makes checking in a pleasure. The hygienists and assistants are gentle and kind, my middle daughter actually looks forward to her appointments because "they're so nice and sweet to me." That's huge when you have kids!
