Bought a 2013 mazdaspeed3 here that was certified pre owned. Got it home to find out that the fog light bezel was broke and that the windshield was replaced with a non Mazda windshield that was incorrect for my car. The sensor for the auto wipers was also not on the windshield with the connector tucked up under the headliner. This does not allow my wipers to work on intermittent mode which is required for md inspection. They didn't want to own up to it and fix the issue properly. Very bad experience buying a car here. I received such an ad in a recent newspaper delivery and figured I'd see what it was about. It had a card that you peeled portions off of to see if you won a prize. You win with three matches across, up, down, or diagonal. I won $5,000 according to my matched line. I called the telephone number provided and when prompted to do so entered my conformation code. I was then asked a series of questions about when I was going to purchase a car. When I responded with the longest period of time option, a disconnect occurred. I called back and received a message that a conformation had already been made in my name and then the call was terminated. This is dishonest come on that shows this dealership can't compete with other dealers in the area. Stay away. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! We had been shopping for a new Mazda the last several weeks and we knew exactly which car we wanted and how much we wanted to pay. We called yesterday and talked to Joe (sales manager) and within a minute and they met our price and we were good to go. We drove over after work and their sales associate Bill greeted us at the door and had the car ready for our test drive. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and explained the car thoroughly. I have been buying and leasing cars for 30 years and I can honestly say this was the best car experience I have ever had. Even while we were waiting for the paperwork we were able to see all the amazing classic cars they had on display in the showroom and Bill gave us some great history on each one. As business owner myself, I know that customer service is everything. Yesterday was the FIRST time I had ever been to Rich Mortons and they treated us like they have done business with us for years. I only gave 1 star because i have to. The mechanics do NOT complete the work correct. They do not do all the services that are provided with "free oil changes for life" as they say they do. I called them out on it every time it happened and i was told it wouldn't happen again. On the last oil change they once again did not complete all the services, they did not put the factory recommended oil in the vehicle and they did not fill it up all the way. They did not tell my wife everything that was needed for repairs. They did tell her that her brakes were extremely low and needed to be replaced asap because they were unsafe. And wanted to charge $400. I replaced them myself for $40. Oh and they didn't need to be changed. When I called them out on everything that they didnt do they said they would talk to the "tech" haha. Now because I changed the brakes and they couldn't over charge me for them we don't get the oil changed because it voided their warranty. read more

Spoke to Bill whose first lie was that you need a credit check to drive a Lamborghini; after telling him that I own several exotics that story immediately changed- he could not get me in there fast enough. Once again, had a wonderful experience. I always request Emily as my service provider. I brought my car in to have 2 recalls fixed and an oil change. I also wanted to know if they'd install brakes. They would, but they wouldn't be garanteed. No problem. I am having a friend install them tomorrow. But she did throw a tire rotation in and then said "Well wait, are all the brakes being changed tomorrow" Yes they are. Ok nevermind, it would be pointless to rotate. Yes indeed. They actually took a deposit from us then two days later said they could not make the deal, after taking our money and signing the deal! They sold the car out from under us for more money I am sure. Worst car buying experience I ever had. Bought a used car for my son, and took 4 hours. When test driving, there was a very noticeable rattle from the rear side. They tried to say it was things like the spare tire, gas cap, and rear seat belt. Finally took 3+ hours from the time we arrived until they diagnosed and fixed the problem. I question how temporary the fix will be. What became clear is that do no quality check on used cars, other then will it pass MD inspection. Frustrating, exhausting, unpleasant experience. The price was good on our vehicle. What may we want to buy there was the hopes of a good service department. The purchasing piece was not very good. It was chaotic. One w4 said we would buy we were rushed through with little explanation on how things worked. Then we get home and find the navigation card was not installed. Had to go back. Then we lost our coin tray. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it sure would be nice to have some place to dump change, little things. We purchased wheel locks. Had to go back for those. Quote an ordeal. They hand them to me. I have no idea what to do with them. I purchased at the time of the sake figured someone would put them on and explain. That took quite some time. The gentleman that finally agreed to assist was very nice. But the cashier acted as if I was a real bother. And don't even try to use a coupon! This is my first mazda. My experience with Rich Morton Mazda has been a nightmare of bullying, intimidation and lies. I have no problem with the actual used vehicle I purchased so far, but when problems arose because of their unscrupulous business practices,it became obvious they had no intention of keeping their word. The salesman Shan and 3 managers( the last one being Neal the general manager) seem to play a tag team of deceit. Neal threatened me with legal repercussions if I said anything derogatory about them. In order to get what they wanted from me, they threatened to cancel the deal after I had the car for 3 weeks. I was told that they didn't care if one customer was dissatisfied because they had thousands of happy customers. I was hung up on, accused of doing something illegal, and lied to by all of them. Go at your own risk, but once they have the sale they have what they wanted. I don't believe I will be taking advantage of the free oil changes they offer. Worst place to buy a car. I bought a used Jeep Compass back in 2012. They have 1,000 mile warranty on their used vehicles. After few days of purchase, I realized many things were wrong with this car (squeaky parts, suspension problem, etc). They knew I lived 25 miles away and made me travel back and forth 8+ times. Before I received any service, I had driven more than 1,000 miles. They refused to provide any service and told me it's out of warranty. These guys are the worst sales people on earth. I wanted to share my experience with this dealership from a KBB Cash Offer perspective. Yes, I was not purchasing a car here, but this dealership pays money to KBB to be advertised as a purchasing center for KBB's Instant Cash Offer. By reading the KBB Instant Cash Offer's "fine print" after the fact, and what caused me to follow up with a review, is that after receiving a cash offer, the dealer is to verify the condition, and ONLY IF the condition is inaccurate from what was inputted through the offer process shall the offer be lowered. In my case, I received an offer 2 weeks ago, spoke numerous times via email to their Internet Sales Representative (who no longer works there) and then traveled to their dealership to have my car appraised. At the time, the sales representative (who still works there) that I sat with had my car appraised, verified its condition, and told me that as long as the CarFax discrepancy (fat fingered odometer reading at a service center) was cleared up, then I would receive the full price KBB Instant Cash Offer. About 2 days later, I informed the dealership that I had cleared my CarFax report, that there was a slight delay in receiving delivery of my new car, and asked if they would still be interested in purchasing my car. I was told at the time that all that was needed was an updated mileage of the vehicle. Fast forward 2 weeks later, and I am set to take delivery of my new car, therefore selling my old one. I spoke to the dealership via email again during the week and was informed to just bring the car in. I redid the KBB Instant Cash Offer to verify the price and receive the "coupon" to be redeemed - which actually went up in price versus the original offer that was calculated. I received a phone call from a sales representative from the dealer and drove directly down there to sell my car. Bad mistake, evidently should have "verified" ahead of time that they would still honor the KBB Instant Cash Offer. When I got to the dealership, I stood at the front waiting for the representative that contacted me and told me that there was going to be a slight delay due to how busy they were - not a big deal. All that was done was that the mileage was verified and came back with an offer that was ~40% lower than the KBB Instant Cash Offer. WASTED MY TIME, which is why I am writing this review. I informed them prior to getting this insulting offer that I didn't want to argue on price, that I just wanted the Instant Cash Offer price and be on my way. Of course, this did not happen, I left very upset that I had wasted the time to drive to/from their dealership and the fact that the sales manager didn't even want to hear that his "offer" wasn't even in the ballpark of the KBB Instant Cash Offer. And the flaws are that the dealership has the rest of the rules for the contest and that they are not responsible for typographical errors. In my case my "error" was the confirmation code which according to the machine that hung up on me, doesn't exist. We were driving 75 miles from home, up in PA, when the 'tire pressure sensor' light came on. I called Rich Morton Mazda Service and was advised to have it checked out right away. We finished our trip to PA and drove home and to Rich Morton Mazda since they had one hour left of their regular Saturday service hours. Turned out that I had a puncture in 1 tire that was not repairable; since the car was AWD I needed to replace all tires. And, they were not available at that hour on a Saturday. So, Ginger, the assistant service manager, arranged for me to have a loaner for the rest of the weekend, and Chuck Dicus promised I'd have my car back on Monday. True to his word, Mr. Dicus called me at noon on Monday and my car was ready. Besides really friendly, quick service, Mr. Dicus gave me some good advice about tire shopping in general and things to watch out for. My experience with the service department was unpleasant. I had a appointment at 7:30 AM to get two tires mounted and balanced. I asked if they would also change my fuse. Two hours later the service adviser has a estimate of almost $1,000 dollars in work they say I need. I refused the work. I was told my car was ready so I paid and left. On my way home I notice the charger is not working in the cigarette lighter, that the fuse was supposed to be changed in. I called back and the Service Adviser Raymond King tells me that they changed the fuse and that I have a electrical problem. I asked him, If that were the case why didn't you mention it while I was there? He said he was too busy going over the other stuff. I get home and the plastic fuse plate cover is on the side of my door. I call back and the same guy says to come back and the mechanic will put the cover back on. I get there and the mechanic comes out and apologizes for leaving it off. I ask him if I have a electrical problem and he says no, you just need a fuse. I explained that it is on the invoice and I was told it was replaced. He said no, I did not replace it. I said your service guy just lied to me. He replaced my fuse and I left. He lied about something as little as a fuse. What else did you lie about? Disappointed. Why would you tell me I have a electric problem? Been going there for years. I dropped my car off the night before the service. Dennis the service manger called me and said my car was finished. I went to pick up my car after work and what a surprise I got. I saw that they used my car for a lunch run. The employee that took my car left the menu in my car. I also saw that my mileage was higher and the gas was gone. I had a full tank of gas when I drop it off to them. When I got the car back it had a quarter tank of gas in it. I will never go back there for service or to pay any other vehicle. I feel since I am a woman they felt they could take advantage of me. Brandon the service person does not know how to talk to with people. When i tried to talk with the general manger Neil about what happen he hung up the phone on me. I call back and he hung up the phone again on me. So I went down to the dealership and toss the menu on the desk of Dennis the service manger and said this relationship is over. And I will let everyone I know what you guys have done to me. From a purchase experience I give this place 5 stars, great vehicles, it is the service department that drags this place down. Since I bought my wifes car last November(2015) I have had her car in for regular service twice. Oil change, inspection, and cleaning. First time, they didnt clean the car...at all. 2nd time, which was yesterday, Sep 23 2016, they told my wife she needed to replace the AC and engine filters and the battery tested bad, quoted a total of $405. I just put a new battery in her car in Jan 2016 so I told them to wait. had them replace the filters at a cost of $134. Had the battery tested this morning, guess what, the Duralast Platinum that I purchased 8 months ago is perfectly fine, they wanted to charge my wife $271 to replace a perfect battery, which somehow the mechanic at Rich Morton Mazda tested at 0% on the inspection sheet. Shady dealings, spoke to the service manager yesterday also, 23 Sep. Told him I was going to get the battery tested and would call him this morning with the results and conveniently there are no managers available to speak to me today. My name is Gokhan Dugan , I purchased a car (AUDI A4 2006, convertible ) 04/02/2014). They told me that the car didn't have any problems , but couple days later my battery died and left me in the middle of the road at night ! The roof is leaking like crazy , I went there to fix it, since the car had a one month warranty , they did change the battery , but they didn't fix my roof top , as they promised!! If you are thinking of buying a car from this dealership, think again. They sold me a car with that has given me problems from the very beginning. First of all, they tried to raise the price they advertised on the Internet once I walked in the door. The salesman said the internet price was just for positioning to get more people interested in the car. I haven't even had the car for 90 days, and have discovered MAJOR electrical problems with it. Nonetheless, I should have walked but because I didn't i'm looking at repair bills that should have been taken care of before the car was offered on the lot. What's the point of going to a big/branded dealership like this, when you can buy the same car from an ordinary dealership and still come out better?
