general tao chicken with fried rice
    Shelby Shy H.

upon entering , the restaurant was so clean and well organized. we were greeted by the nicest woman! we quickly ordered and grabbed an ice cold water then sat down. we got the general tao with fried rice and the combo plate with sweet and sour chicken + orange chicken w/ fried rice. it took about 10 ish maybe 15? to come out but did not feel long at all. I ordered a side salad as well and it hit the spot!!!! so simple and so good. the cute little woman brought everything out piping hot and fresh. we were blown away by how good it was. something that made me so happy was the chicken was actually bite sized and made it so easy to eat . the fried rice tasted like high quality hibachi rice. we had never been to rice time and have lived in canby for 5 years now. we will be coming back asap!! need to try the lunch special as well :) thank you to rice time for the perfect dinner .

This place was pretty good. There wasn't many people when we got there and it seemed like only one person was working, so we understood that it would take a while for our food- I'd suggest calling your to-go order. The person who took and cooked our order was super nice!! I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. I'd totally recommend!

Light blue colored floors covered in filth.

This is the filthiest restaurant I have ever witnessed. It looks like the floors haven't been cleaned in years. The gunk is thick, sticky and smells bad. Somewhere under the black-brown filth is a pastel blue floor.

A very popular spot for lunch. Food is good and prices reasonable. Good to call-in your order if lunch.

Miss their chicken burrito, if they still had it I would have given them a five. Great service.

What a fabulous addition to Molalla's eating-out choices! I've been here several times before today…read moreand each time the food has been excellent. Flavorful and delicious, Fire Foods delivers the best in Asian food here in Molalla. I haven't had their burgers yet but after reading the reviews here, I'm thinking I need to try one! In any event, with the cold grey day we are having today, a bowl of hot ramen soup was the perfect thing to send the overcast blues flying out the window. Today, I had the Veggie Ramen Soup with shrimp & egg along with a cup of jasmine flower tea. The bowl of soup was so big I had to ask for a container to take home what I couldn't eat at lunch. With big huge shrimps and a perfectly poached egg, the noodles and veggies (broccoli, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, bok choy) hit the spot. The broth was delicious with the perfect amount of spiciness - my lips were tingling with the heat! (Tip: I asked for a "1" on the spiciness chart and it was spicy. I think it might have actually been a "2" because it was spicy! I like my food spicy but if you don't, maybe ask for a "0".) Ordering is accomplished at the counter, which is on the left when you enter the front door. When I said I needed some soup for a chilly day, the man who took my order suggested the Veggie Ramen. He then asked if I wanted to add anything to it and I requested chicken, although I got those huge beautiful shrimp. (I'll be asking for those shrimp from now on!) Prices are comparable to or less than any other place these days - veggie ramen soup was $12 and the pot of tea that I got at least 3 mugfuls out of was $2.50. Add-ons to the soup like chicken, beef or shrimp are an additional couple of bucks. All decked out for the holidays, my favorite decoration was the Grinch Christmas Tree! Fun and festive! I'll be going back soon - maybe to try a burger but I love their Asian food so it might be hard to choose.

We've visited Beach Wok a few times over the years, and each time we've found it to be fresh and of good quality. However, on our most recent visit, we discovered that half of our dishes were dry and partially inedible. The main issue with our to-go order was the ribs. For my kids, I ordered the BBQ ribs. At least half were too dry and tough to eat without posing a choking risk. For myself, I placed an order for the gluten-free sweet and sour ribs. Mine were at least 3/4 too dry to eat, to the point I was trying to drink water while chewing in order to get the meat soft enough to swallow. It just wasn't worth the risk or pain in my jaw so I ended up throwing away most of the two rib orders. My husband's fish and chips were fine, as well as the cucumber salad, edamame, and a grilled cheese I also ordered for the kids. I was planning on ordering from Beach Wok a second night, but with the prices as high as they are and our bad experience a few nights earlier, I decided against it. I'm undecided if we'll be returning to Beach Wok again. 2026 #1

They have many other items besides Thai food. The YS selected chicken tacos which came with a side salad. The side salad was as big as a lot of salads you have for a meal. My portions on the pad Thai were very big as well. We took these leftovers and had them for dinner also. The service was quick and friendly. They have a small space but they also have covered outdoor seating as well. They were doing a brisk take out business when we were there for lunch on a weekday. All in all a solid meal and then some. I look forward to a return trip in the near future.
