We are from out of town and we researched our options pretty thoroughly because we have a toddler. This place said it was kid friendly. Nope. This place is very small and only seats 20. There were no booster seats for a toddler or high chairs. Besides the non kid friendly vibes, the sushi was basic. The rolls fell apart when eating. The warm sushi rolls were served cold. We were absolutely delighted! It's a very tiny hole in the wall with very limited indoor seating. There was some sidewalk patio seating but likely only during summer. We saw multiple people picking up to go orders while we were there. Hubby had the volcano and thoroughly enjoyed it. He still had room for more so ordered the pork summer rolls with peanut sauce. Very good food! The service was ok but it was busy but they also seemed distracted. I would not recommend and of noodles. It left a perfume taste in my mount making it un eatable for me. Small quaint little sushi restaurant in downtown Durango. Down side was not too many gluten free and non-spicy options, and for sushi, just some great fish is all I need. Had to modify to get that. They were very accommodating with modifying my chirachi bowl to not have gluten though. Got busy on a Friday night, not much seating, so probably really good for takeout or expect a wait. I cant express how good this place! We ordered the spring rolls thinking they'd be fried lol but they were still delicious with the sauce! And i LOVE seaweed salad and this did not disappoint! The teriyaki was absolutely delicious. It did not tase like the basic teriyaki chicken, this had a unique homemade flavor which set my mind on coming back when i return to Durango! I've had them before and the food is solid. The miso soup is a bit bland for my liking, but my sister loved that it wasn't too salty. The rolls we got were good. Also got plain jasmine rice for the kids and they devoured it. I ordered the food to go and it was ready quickly and all in the bag. This place is a little hard to review. I only tried the sushi! The place itself is so tiny. I was seated in the very back across from the wait station where they clean dishes, which is not very appetizing, but they did warn us that it was the only spot open and we were welcome to wait for a nicer one. When we received the plates, all of them had black specs on them that smeared when wiped off. The water cups were really cute though. I wanted to try the pho, but after reading so many horrible reviews, I decided not to. I got 5 rolls of sushi instead. The sushi was pretty tasty and the staff was very friendly.
