Very clean establishment and good vibes with shoji screens and lighting. Our service was very good too! We explained how we have never been here before and our waitress explained in full detail the how to and their menu. She came back at a good rate and was very nice. Me and my partner got the standard course for two. It was around $68. That's a lot in my opinion for not that much food compared to a Korean bbq. The galbi short ribs for example, they only gave us 3. They couldn't even give us 4? Two each? That in general is also crazy small. The rest of the meats were flat pieces like brisket and little steak bits. That's not a lot of food. It looks like a lot but when meat shrinks it's just tasters. I'm not impressed with the amount I'm spending with the amount of food. It's honestly not a lot when you really break it down. We did try the mochi and me and my partner agreed that was probably the best mochi ice cream we have had. Plenty of options, very delicious and tasty. If you want some sort of BBQ experience, I would not come here as my first option. You're just wasting money when you can go to an all you can eat and order practically everything. If you wanted Individual plates of soemthing, for example the galbi short ribs for a plate was around $14. Cmon now. We wouldn't come back here. It was decent, too expensive for what you're getting. There's just better options to try. Thank you.

It is about time we have a Yakiniku place in El Paso, and I'm happy it's GyuKaku!…read more The location is really nice and can suit one well for a birthday, dinner date, entertain the visiting executive from out of town, or just because you crave Yakiniku, which I often do. The menu is amazing! I ordered so much I forget what I even had specifically, I just know we started with Kalbi and ended with garlic chicken and had everything from crispy rice to spicy pork in between. The service was great! And we met the owners, Dennis and Ran, and expressed our gratitude for bringing such an establishment to the borderland! Can't wait to go back

This was my first time visiting, and I'm really glad I decided to give it a try. The chicken was really good. It was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and I went with the sweet and savory sauce, which paired really well with the chicken. I also ordered the ramen noodles, and they have a pretty cool setup where you can use a machine to add the hot water and cook your own noodles. It was something different and made the experience a little more fun. There was a pretty good crowd inside during my visit, with quite a few people dining in. After trying the food, I can definitely understand why. The restaurant was clean, had nice decor, and there was plenty of seating. They also have a bar area with seating and a selection of adult beverages. Overall, I had a really good first experience here. The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was nice, and the place had a good energy without feeling overcrowded. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu options.

I asked the server to recommend a spicy sauce, and my friends wanted non-spicy, and we were able to sample the sauces so we could make a good choice, which was very helpful. Highly recommended!

My family and I were greeted upon entering by the staff, Valerio at the register was professional, friendly, and gave top notch customer service during our whole dine-in experience. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, Dominique was non-stop taking pride in her work ensuring the place was being maintained to a high level of standard. I approached the manager Stephanie and told her how much we enjoyed our lunch, and that she has such a great crew. I watched each interaction the staff had with other guests, uplifting and engaging. This Cane's location at Zaragoza/Joe Battle, El Paso needs recognition for how well everyone worked together to make a great experience for their guests. Valerio, didn't just work the register, but even during our meal he stopped to ask how our meal was and if we needed anything; taking an empty tray and clearing unwanted items. This place deserves 10 stars!!!!

***DRUGS BEING DONE AT THE CORNER TABLE. Woman yelling at herself and flinging an umbrella…read morearound*** UPDATE BELOW Unfortunately this review has nothing to do with the food, or the regular employees who help us here-- all of which is typically a great experience. Rather, this review is about the experience my husband and I had there today when we went inside to eat our food. We had ordered, paid, and just sat down when a woman came in through the door after just burning weird incense or something, which I believe also had caught her jacket on fire. She was standing outside the doors closest to the register and had a ton of smoke coming off of her/around her. Not kidding, it looked like a small fire. Not a vape, or a cigarette, like a literal small fire amount of smoke. She then walked past the registers, and brought a TERRIBLE burnt smell in with her, walked straight into the bathrooms carrying an umbrella, bags, etc, and after about 10 minutes exited the bathrooms. She began pointing her umbrella side to side, saying things that were hard to make sense of and then left. About 15 minutes later she came back inside and came and sat right behind me, my husband, and our infant. I immediately got up, went and told the staff, and asked for a manager just so this could get taken care of as there were other CHILDREN inside the Canes. She started yelling and talking to herself, and pulled out a big bottle of pills started taking them right there on a table that families are supposed to be eating at. My husband witnessed this as he was trying to box up our food to go. I don't know what happened, but I'm typing this review as I sit in the parking lot with the food that I ordered. And I haven't seen her exit yet. The manager was just standing there, tables away as we exited and we didn't actually see him go approach her. I'll update my review if this gets resolved in any way, but I don't feel like I was taken seriously on this matter. Rather that I was just trying to complain which wasn't my intention. It was for the safety of not only myself and my family, but the other people there. You cannot allow people to come and do drugs at a table where there are children just feet away. If I saw her, I know others did. And I just don't appreciate that it wasn't handled before I had to go to the counter and say something. And honestly I'm unsure if it was handled at all. As an establishment you have an obligation to make your customers feel comfortable and safe, and I feel like that was not a priority today. $40 down the drain for some BS experience. UPDATE: She was sitting outside as we left the parking lot at one of the tables and as we drove by, we saw her walking back inside to the back corner table inside. So it was obvious that no one actually took us seriously or made her leave for the safety of anyone inside. Today, Monday, December 22, I got in contact with Cane's customer service and I was given 3 vouchers for box combos. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and nice, and I do appreciate the concern that was expressed over the phone, I just still wish the entire experience wouldn't have occurred. It caused me to get upset at the table and not even want to continue eating before she came in the second time. What was supposed to be a relaxing lunch out with my husband turned out to be anything but. I also didn't appreciate the laughs and snickers behind the counter from most of the staff. So yes-- I got my money back from yesterday in the form of vouchers, and customer service is forwarding this to a different higher up team, but it honestly shouldn't have even had to get that far yesterday. Their food is great, don't get me wrong. I love cane's. The service is always friendly there at this location, and the chicken is cooked to where it's perfectly crispy. 10/10 on all of that. No complaints there. But I'm not sure I can go back to this location after that. My husband made a great point yesterday. She's just sitting there taking a handful of pills at that table and some unsuspecting family is supposed to come along after she leaves to sit and eat at the same table that just happened at? No thanks.

The chicken fit bowl came in a covered plastic container which you could tell was just a frozen meal heated in the microwave. As I took off the plastic top, the smell just completely hit me. I almost gagged because the smell reminded me of rancid garbage. I still attempted to eat because I needed food and as I ate, the chicken was barely edible and had a rubber consistency. Again, this was clearly microwaved food. Also, while I was eating one of the staff members started cleaning and spraying the immediate surrounding tables and floors with cleaner. Immediately the entire space smelled of chemical spray and the foul rubbery chicken. On top of that, there is a connecting door to (I believe) another restaurant where people continually go in and out and pass through the restaurant which is not a big deal but just added to the overall experience. I promptly left and didn't look back. I would have asked for my money back but the smell and entire experience just made me want to leave. I attempted to find resolution and call customer service but the website only has an email option. I do not recommend this place at all.

Overall, the chicken strips were medium to big sized and were cooked well. However, some of the flavors were underwhelming, especially the garlic Parmesan and blazing Buffalo hot. The other flavors were actually pretty good; my favorite was the chipotle ranch which had a amazing flavor! It's a good valve for the amount of chicken you receive. Would suggest that if you are not able to finish eating them on one day, do not eat them the next day as leftovers because they lose their freshness and flavors become extremely stale; also, the chicken dries up fast. Wouldn't mind trying other items in the menu.
