Really enjoyed the food. Green beans was delicious! Lots of flavor. Mushrooms were also really good! Its a small buffet so not a whole lot of options. Also, I wish the food was warmer. It was kinda cold. Desserts were delicious especially the small strawberry shortcakes and flavored puddings. Almond cookies were also a hit! We sat down and paid, they were fixing the ice cream machine or whatever no problem but this food is so cold and inedible, I feel so nauseous and it wasn't even worth the 32 bucks we paid the best thing here was the water and the mushrooms this is the first time we leave with full plates on the table. I must've gone at the wrong time (5:30 pm) because this place was not good. Most of the things on the buffet were either empty or super dry from being under a heat lamp for so long. Much of the food was not flavorful or did not taste very good. Ended up paying about $36 for food plus tip, and it wasn't worth the price. Initially on arriving I was a little skeptical, as it was smaller than it looked from the road and online. While the buffet itself was small and the selections were limited, what was there was actually really good. They also had salads and fruit. There weren't as many veggie dishes as I would have liked, but the Mongolian beef was very tender, which is unusual at these places. The sweet and sour chicken was also crispy and not overdone. They had green beans and chicken that had just the right amount of sauce and garlic. The ONLY reason I give this a 1 on Atmosphere, and 3 instead of 4 overall, was the crazy loud Asian Techno-pop music videos they had playing during lunch. ANYTHING would have been better than that. I wasn't expecting great things from a Chinese food buffet, and that is exactly what I got. From the outside there is a weathered banner that states "Grand Opening". Based on there being reviews on here that were several months old, I think that would be a very generous interpretation. Most companies have that banner for a couple of weeks, not months. Upon entry, I was surprised to find that payment is expected prior to sitting down and eating. Not a huge deal, but was different for sure. After paying I grabbed a plate and started to grab a small portion of many of the dishes on the buffet. Most of them were decent, with nothing really spectacular. There were whole shrimp which I was excited to try, but unless you are a fan of eating the shells too then I would avoid them. I found it near impossible to get the meat out. Next trip up I went to the second section of the buffet which was mostly fried foods. Got an egg roll, chicken wing, sweet and sour chicken, and crab rangoon. I liked the chicken wing, but the rest of the foods were cold and didnt taste very good. I wouldnt get any of them again. There is also a third bar that has fruit and desserts, but I didnt try any of them so cannot comment on how they were. The same lady that we paid upon entry was going around and clearing dirty plates and wiping off tables when people left. Unfortunately she didnt offer to refill anyones drinks, so folks had to walk back up to the counter to request them. She did a decent job of quickly hurrying over to perform the task, but it was a little weird that she just didnt refill them without me having to leave the table. For a chinese buffet, the food is exactly what you would expect. If you are craving good chinese food, there are better options on the westside. If you want to just eat a bunch of average food, then this is that kind of place. Not a huge selection, but I knew that ahead of time based on other reviews that I read. read more

This is the second time I've been. There will not be a third. Both times, one set of food wells was not heating. All foods were cold, and when the cook changed out (rotated) the pans of food, he would comment to us, "This one's warmer." So they knew they weren't working, yet they continued to serve food at unsafe temperatures. So after letting them know this, they "took care of the problem" by making it worse! read more

Although a small selection, this small business focuses on the familiar delicacies without all the confusion. The food is made fresh and restocked to liking, service is quick as well as accurate, they make sure to go above and beyond, standing by. Decorated quite nicely, relaxing, and quite mellow, I can't say I'm personally dissatisfied or disappointed in any way after coming here. Ask to see the food selection before paying! All of the food seemed to be fried, so if you're a conscious eater like me, you will have very little to choose from. The veggie dishes were coated in oil and salt. The Soups and Lo Mein were flavorless. They didn't seem to have plain steamed rice available which to me should be a standard at any Chinese buffet. It has a small variety of options but the food is good. They have a coffee mocha dessert that is delicious but I think it's not there all the time. I want to preface this review by letting it be known I've been eating @ Chinese buffets for 34 years...that being said: The service is nice and the drinks are well carbonated, however, the place is overpriced for the selection of food as well as the food quality. A lot of the food was cold when I arrived for a nice little lunch with my mom. The price tag of $13.99 per person was kind of a shock, but I figured, "Hey, the food is probably terrific." It was not. Everything was either: bland, tough, too salty, or too oily. The noodles are cut, so you can't even wrap them around a fork. The hot and sour soup tasted like it was watered down and bland, but still thick. The fried shrimp just tasted like batter. The beef and broccoli tasted like straight oyster sauce. The pork ribs hardly had any meat. What I'm assuming was Hunan Chicken was not spicy or savory. They need to lower the price or step up the quality of the food, cause this ain't it. I will not be returning, but I wish them the best of luck. Hate leaving low reviews on Chinese spots, but I gotta keep it real. read more

We had lunch here today. Saw it was new and thought we would try it. Honestly felt I wasted money. I tried a little of almost everything. The noodles were ok but I wasn't a fan of anything. My plate had food on it when we left and I hate wasting food but it just wasn't to my liking. Even my son didn't like the rice or noodles and that's his favorite thing for Chinese food. They also poured soda from a 2 litter to our cups and for 2.75 each cup I could have bought a drink with more fizz from some where else. Not impressed. read more
