I absolutely hate sending food back and thought about removing them, but it's just not the same. In any case, he apologized, took the plate away and promised to come back with more tea and water. Eventually the plate came back and the tea and water were refilled shortly after that. Two of the tomatoes seem to have almost reached the bare minimum definition of grilled. The other 6 were fresh, plump, and still firm. I scraped them all off at that point. To add to the issues, the plate doesn't seem to have been under the heat lamp. The undercooked fries returned, only now they were cold. It's moderately busy and they seem to only have one server working. He's friendly and polite if a bit rushed by the understaffing. The sandwich even without the tomatoes? Delicious. The fries were a huge disappointment today and they are usually delicious. I'm gonna chalk this up to a collision of bad luck.
