This is another chain that is consistently great no matter what state in the Union I have had the divine pleasure of having their burgers in. Always fresh- the fries are famous for their solid potato texture- and let's not forget the peanuts!!! I always get to go, and throw a bunch of peanuts in my to go bag...my little dog Luciano, jumps for joy when his little nose picks up the smell as I walk into the house. The service used to reminisce the Fish Catchers in Seattle a bit? Fine place to go where the guys had a little banter with each other as well as the guest. But now it's boring and slow and way too expensive for a seemingly shrinking burger and fries that used to feed 12 not just barely adequate for one? Still glad to see peanuts because now you need them to feel like you got a meal for some value, but quit gouging your guests. I haven't been here in awhile but... it was decent when I went. I went with the bf prior to the pandemic. It's a bit pricey but the food and service was pretty good. They have burgers, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches and shakes. During my visit, the hamburgers and French fries did not come together in a combo. You had to buy everything separately. If you wanted a drink, that was another cost. I didn't like that. You could easily spend $20 or $30 here! That's a lot for fast food imo. They offer delivery via Yelp and most likely through other third party delivery companies. I'm not sure if their dining area is open right now. I'm sure you can also call and place an order for takeout. I wouldn't mind tasting one of their shakes in the near future. I might also attempt a meal too! read more

GREAT FRIES! Do yourself a favor and get some Cajun fries, they're pretty terrific. As for the burgers, well, there's nothing remarkable about them, but it is pretty cool that all the toppings are free, though the price certainly reflects that 'freeness.' The people working there are really nice, which counterbalances the long line you'll deal with even at off-peak hours. You can munch on peanuts while in line, and that's not a euphemism. I wouldn't characterize five guys as fast food, it fits more into line with a fast casual place like chipotle or pieology. Like those two, it is a national chain that up until recently was more focused on the east coast. Its speciality is burgers and fries, and boy does it do those well. Burgers come in two sizes, little which is one patty and regular, which is two patties, with upcharges for bacon and cheese. All other toppings are free, and the customizability is what sets five guys apart. The freshness of the ingredients, especially the beef and the vegetables is evident in their product. They made every burger to order, and this location does it extremely fast. In a moderately busy time, I got my order within 5 minutes. However, the burgers are only one part of the equation, the full name of the restaurant is five guys burgers and fries after all. I'm not sure what they do to them, but five guys fries are some of my favorite fries. Perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning, and they give you soooo much of them. A large fries can easily feed four people, a mistake that my family and I were happy too discover when we went for the first time and ordered two large fries for 4 people. They put the fries in a cup then add even more fries onto it in the bag. I find myself coming to five guys just to order the fries. The little things make five guys special: the foil wrapped burgers keep the heat in, the numbered burgers help to distinguish which belongs to which person, the peanuts to snack on while you wait, and the care that they take in preparing the food is very obvious. The prices are a little high, but with the quality and product you receive, I believe it is well worth it. read more

Very disappointing experience and we will never go back! We've been loyal customers of Five Guys since they came to El Paso and we visit them several times each month. We had an issue on our order and when we made a complaint by phone we were told the two items would be replaced for us the next time we were there. Next time came around and they said we can't find your name, etc... the female manager was so rude and that's putting it lightly. I asked her for the district managers name and number and she said he does allow them to give it out. I finally got his name from her but no number. I called the other five guys to get his name and as I thought, she lied and gave me a wrong name. They actually gave me the right name and number. I never even bothered calling him. Instead we have stopped going to Five Guys, we spread the negative word of how we were treated and post negative reviews everywhere we can. They need a new manager at the westside location before we'll ever consider returning. read more

I am not going to say much because there is not much to say about a overpriced fast food joint..... oh the burger is the same as Mooyah Burger on Mesa, Blakes A Lot of Burger and Whataburger.... Place is clean, the minimum wage employees are friendly, nice selection of coke products beverages you can choose from, refill cup for a small $2.49. A ketchup station or cider vinegar for your small $3.09 fries. Not really sure why I need to know where todays potatoes where grown from because there is a sign that says that with a bunch of other signs that it won burger awards in all these large cities across the country (love that because I never saw one in there for El Paso..) probably propaganda, like I need to be sold, I am alreay in the place, plus these quotes are probably from some obscure magazine or taken off of some pot smoking kids Facebook page however they are all nicely placed around the red and white decor. Just had a ridiculously overpriced cheeseburger from 5 guys. My gosh, they must think highly of themselves to charge so much for a burger. I will admit the flavor was good overall, but halfway through I ended up with bun and meat separated. The bun got too mushy and spilled all over. A very decent hamburger when you are having a craving, not to much when it comes to selection basically they have a baseline burger, and from there it builds up by either adding cheese, bacon or both. They sell other small selection of stuff like hot dogs, sandwiches and fries.
