OMG! The Frisco sticks (Chicos) are so freaking good! It taste healthier, the broth is perfect, the cheese they use is not all powdery. The green sauce is perfection. I just wish they were open later for my late night Frisco sticks cravings. The price were good, but the thing is I'm really not into the yellow queso cheese, so that is a personal preference and after drowning them in green sauce, all is well. Still wouldn't take away a star because of those damn sticks. The service is fast and efficient . I definitely want to go try back for some different things. Had the sticks as good as usual, but when waitress is sitting on the couch on her phone it's a bit difficult to get a tea refill or extra sauce for your sweet and sour. I guess they figured that since it was not to busy at 2 that they could take a break, keep that up and it's going to be a lot less busy. read more

How many burger joints do you know of also have a multi-cultured menu featuring things like chicken fried rice and sweet & sour pork, as well as an Asian cashier? (or maybe she was the owner? I dunno) Well, apparently this place has it all. Simultaneously, the decorum has a 50s diner style theme going on. This quaint little joint is one of those restaurants where you seat yourself. When I first walked in, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait to be greeted or sit down like I own the joint. Because the place was on and poppin'! At 11:45 in the morning, no less. So, I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak this go around because...as most of you know by now, I'm an avid cheesesteak lover. I swear when I die, they'll have to bury me with a cheesesteak resting on my corpse. Actually, I'm kidding. I totally plan to get cremated. But...you probably didn't need to know that. *ahem* Moving on.. This cheesesteak was different from most traditional ones. More specifically, the bread was different. Flatter...I guess. You can see from the picture it looks more like a burger bun with the ends cut off. Not that it detracted from the great taste at all. The steak was well seasoned and the white cheese they use blends everything together perfectly. The fries were okay, but slightly overcooked. The whole thing gets an 8 out of 10. Can we talk about their cups for a minute? They're ginormous! Seriously, the best way I can describe them are buckets. Yep. That's what I drank out of today: a giant bucket. Oh, yeah...the service was nearly lightning fast with a very cordial server. Considering the crowd, that server certainly managed the front of the house with near omnipresent resiliency. If the cheesesteak is but a prelude of what I can expect from the burgers, then I'm totally trying one on my next visit. Only other minor complaint I have is the entrance to their parking lot is...abrupt, for first time visitors. If you're not paying close attention, you might just drive right by it. There's usually plenty of cars in front, yeah. But that doesn't leave much room for last minute maneuvering when you first pull into the parking lot awkwardly like a lost tourist. Though I think it's a little strange for a burger place to also offer oriental plates, I guess that's just a feature to set them apart from the rest and maintain a unique identity. I'd say it worked. Another spot I need to come back to soon! I used to live close by some years back but moved to another part of town. I took my son a couple of times. My favorites on the menu are their chicken or beef fried rice and the Frisco sticks. I know, sort of a weird combination! Lol. Frisco sticks are similar to a single at Chico's Tacos, three rolled tacos drenched in red sauce and cheese. This is what I ordered each time. I think they also offer the Frisco sticks in green sauce, too...I can't recall though. I hear their burgers are good as well, just really greasy. These are the only items I've ever ordered there. Frisco's looks like a 50's diner. I enjoy the setup and vibe of it. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. It's a fun place. The owner is also nice. I've seen her in there a couple of times. She's friendly and talks with her guests. If you see the owner at their establishment interacting with guests and helping the employees, you know things will be fresh and taste good. A true leader isn't afraid to work and/or help their employees succeed. This has often been my experience at restaurants and other types of businesses where the owner is helping out. read more

Always come here and forget to check in. A little history about Frisco. It has been here for over 30 years! After being bought by the new owners, she changed the decor and added new items to the menu. One thing she did that made this place awesome was added Frisco sticks: which are so much better than Chicos. Ever since the new items on the menu this place got extremely popular where additional space was needed. Kudos to the owner for doing this all by herself as a woman. Everything on the menu is good! Nothing is gross. They have sweet tea which is awesome! You want a good old fashion burger, this is your spot! Someone told you to eat at Chicos, come here instead! This place is really awesome! One thing I appreciate is seeing the same staff, Ursula is one of the waitresses there, she's been there for years. The daughters also help run the restaurant. I love love love coming to Frisco Burgers. You walk in and are automatically greeted and u feel welcomed. Usually I'll get a cheeseburger and fries but today I opted for the frisco sticks and I wasn't disappointed. Real cheese melted perfectly and the green chili so good. Hadn't been to Friscos on awhile, service has gone downhill. Our server couldn't be bothered to focus on our order, And this was just our drink order, had to repeat it to her three times, seriously, wtf. Then she brought our drinks took our order. She then read it back to confirm. Our order comes out wrong. The wife ordered the jr. cheeseburger basket, they bring out a regular cheeseburger with onions and the fries looked they were from last week and tasted as stale. Server was nowhere to be found, finally comes back, and we tell her, she kinda hems and haws, takes our ticket, goes to the back, and then just leaves it at the counter and disappears. Yummm! Once you try Frisco's, you'll crave it constantly. The food isn't exquisite, but it is delicious diner food. One of the coolest things about FBI is the fact that it's a 50's diner. There's Beach Boys posters, an old school gas pump, chairs made from vintage cars, and just a whole lot of other cool memorabilia. Every time I go in there I feel like for just a few moments I'm actually in the 1950's (although I know most diners in the 50's wouldn't have 50's memorabilia...you don't need to say it). FBI is usually busy, but I don't think I've ever had to wait more than five minutes for a table. The food...*drool*. BLT's made with Texas Toast, burgers that are toasted and piled high, and fries that are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I love the food at FBI! Frisco's is somewhere everyone needs to try at least once. And don't forget the Frisco Sticks! You'll love them way more than Chico's Tacos. The only reason I didn't give FBI a 5 star rating is because the menu does diverge from American and Tex-Mex diner food...there is also some Asian dishes in their own section of the menu. I haven't actually tried any of the Asian cuisine, but I hear it's pretty good as well. I just think that kind of pulls from the whole ambiance, but I get it...owner's choice. There aren't really that many people that work in the front part of Frisco's, usually it's the owner and a couple of waitresses. They're all really friendly and helpful...they'll actually talk to you to figure out which dish you'll like best. Like I said, not too many people up front so if FBI is packed you may have a little bit of a wait, but it's never really an issue. This is a new favorite for me. I loved my burger. The decor is appealing (50's themed). Everything about my dining experience was enjoyable. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the price. It gets expensive really quick if you want more than a burger and fry. So after hearing about this place for years I finally tried this place with a cheeseburger. I expected something to WOW me and these burgers are nothing to go out of your way for. The patty has great flavor but it's thin as paper so in reality you're eating more bread and lettuce than actual beef (where's the beef?!). We also ordered onion rings and those were quite yummy, again an onion ring is an onion ring ‍. They offer different types of burgers, salads, and even Chinese food (). They take paper and plastic so yay to that. Overall, would I send my friends here? Nope I've had better burgers to rave on, it's a neighborhood burger joint but I won't be going out of my way or craving this place anytime soon. They serve some amazing food items and if you're trying to get a "lean" "fat-free" anything then this is not the place for you. Frisco's has been around for many many years and has been an established spot on the East side. Super close to the Post Office on Yarbrough you'll recognize their quaint sign. Once you walk in you'll love the 50's diner feel it gives and how amazing the scent is. Trust me you'll leave smelling like Frisco Burger Inn but whose complaining! Frisco's is where you come for some greasy, flavorful, mouth-watering burgers. Add the extra cheese and call your cardiologist but I assure you it is worth it. I am a huge fan of their double meat double cheese and with every bite i take into their burgers I wish it would never end. The meat patties are very well size and the buns have a nice crunch to them with the butter they are lathered up with. Every time I come I always make sure to order their cheesesticks. The cheese gods must love Frisco because they are some of the best cheesesticks I have ever had. I always find myself comparing other places cheesticks to Frisco's. You can get an awesome meal for under $10 bucks and leave with a tummy full and your crave buds satisfied. One of my favorite burger places in El Paso. I was turned on to this place by a long time local of El Paso. As soon as you walk in, you can't but help notice the retro diner decor. With the exception of the very beginning of the lunch hour on the weekends, every time I've visited Frisco Burger, it's been packed with patrons. Not necessarily a bad thing, It's just indicative of how good their food is. The service is usually pretty good. Only bad episode I had was with a snappy server during a very busy night, but the great service all the other times have made up for it. During the peak times, parking sometimes becomes a problem. Not really a show stopper, but you might end up parking in odd places or roving around waiting for a spot to open up. One of my favorite things here is being able to add the hot dog on my burgers (Don't judge me). To be fair, you don't come to a burger joint to eat healthy. Also, I'm not going to be young for too much longer, so I'm trying to take advantage of my fast metabolism. I add it every time I visit Frisco Burger because you don't always see it on other establishment's menus. They are closed on Sundays and shut down during the summers, so get your burger fix before then. I actually love that they're closed for the summers because --to me--it shows that they're not solely all about making money and make sure they take time out for themselves. read more

My wife has been telling me about this place for awhile but let's just say that the stars never line up...but then they did and oh am I glad they did! Being from St Louis this is one of the few places that remind me of home. They hamburgers are delicious! Now i used to love this place but after what happened to me on Friday, i can no longer eat here. I ordered a double cheese burger with fries and my fries had a little bit of hair in it, it really wasn't a big deal, I just didn't eat those few fries. But then i bit into the burger and as i pulled the burger away from my mouth a long string of hair got stuck in my braces and was still connected to the burger. I was recommended to go here by a coworker bc I miss good burgers from when I was living in FL. I was really excited to try a bite. The inside is like a kind of sort of resemblance of a retro diner. Kind of tacky but still a little cute idk. The menu is strange as it is not only a burger place but also offers Chinese?? Assuming the owner is. Anyway I ordered a typical double cheeseburger.
