With mashed potatoes and veggie medley, and soup and iced tea for just $12.95! Well JACKPOT! I ordered and this soup came first it was a chickeny flavored tomato broth with tortilla strips and melty white cheese. The broth was WAAAAY to salty. But I liked the concept. It had no veggies or any meaning it. So I ate out the chips and cheese and I would have liked to enjoy that broth but it was so so salty I just could not. When my plate came it was a nice spiced grilled ground round Pattie covered in hot brown gravy with thin sliced onions and small thin sliced fresh mushrooms. Homemade real mashed potatoes, and veggies mix of corn, carrots, peas, and green beans. If it had a dinner roll, it would have been dinner at my house growing up any night of the week. It was so good, the veggies could have used some butter on them. The gravy was great on the meat and potatoes. Sorry I didn't get a pic of that plate, but I was so hungry I just dug in and by the time I thought of a pic, it was half way gone. The clock inside isn't winning any beauty contests. It's still same as it's always been. I think maybe I'd set all the clocks to the correct time or the correct time somewhere and make sure they all worked if possible or had good batteries. Be great if the coco clocks, if any, went off every hour. Bring some more character to the old place, and favorite of many. Come get dinner some after noon or late afternoon. It's a great deal... there were only 2-3 other tables when I got there and when I left no one was there . So you can definitely come get a good cup of Joe and some good food in the afternoon, it's not just for breakfast, which it IS FAMOUS FOR.

As we're close to the Army base some of the items have received GI nicknames as was the case with biscuits and gravy (SOS on the menu!). The coffee refills were plentiful and I supplemented my "SOS" with eggs over easy and hash browns. My wife had the breakfast burrito. She had plenty to take home.

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

It has that trucker, small town American diner ambiance. The food was delicious! I want to visit here again next Saturday and try a different breakfast plate. First off, I've been wanting good hash browns that don't seem like frozen or bought pre-prepped and these hit the spot! They're unique also. Never had this style. The potato slivers were really thick so really tasty. It was toasty and soft, so perfect texture. I just wish it was seasoned. I understand why it may not be but it would've made it perfect. I came originally to order the ham steak but I saw home made hot Italian sausage and I had to try it. I'm so glad I did. It was delicious! So tasty! It's going to be hard not ordering that on my next visit. I didn't care for the Apple Cobbler. It was just a mini apple pie. I mean if that's what you want go for it. It tasted good. It's just not my ideal version of a cobbler. I still highly recommend this place and I'm definitely eating here again on my next opportunity to eat breakfast!

Waited awhile for the waitress once seated. I ordered their version of French Dip - Tri Tip dip. Waited for about 30 minutes for the food. Waitress brought it out without the Au Jus. Stated she would go back to kitchen to get it. Came right back out, stating they were all out. If the point if a DIP sandwich is the AuJus, you should announce you are out AT THE TIME THE ITEM IS ORDERED!! It took so long to get the mean, I did not feel like sending it back to the kitchen to order something else. And don't bring out Malt vinegar or Worchestershire sauce as a "substitute! French fries as a side were luke warm and UNSALTED! Salt would no longer stick to the potatoes at that time. Sandwich was dry....definitely needed the Au Jus. Ended up eating the insides, leaving the greasy ciabatta on the plate. Probably will notvretuen. Lackluster service and mediocre food quality. El Paso has better food choices!

This place is a classic El Paso institution--serving up no-frills, satisfying Mexican diner fare that hits the spot. I ordered the machaca burrito, and my daughter went with the chorizo burrito. Both were delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned--exactly what you'd hope for from a neighborhood Mexican cafe. The prices were very reasonable, making this a great value meal. The service was friendly, though understandably a bit slow with how busy the place was. Still, the staff managed the crowd with warmth and efficiency. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a well-loved local spot--laid-back, packed with regulars, and buzzing with conversation. Even on a Monday morning, the place was full and parking was hard to find, which tells you everything you need to know. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a classic diner vibe that made us feel right at home. It's clear this is a popular go-to for locals--and now, we see why. Would definitely come back next time we're in the area.

The wings are so big, these aren't your usual run of the mill frozen wings fried to order, the breading flavorful, the wings were fried hot and deliciously. I had to wait for my food to cool down to eat it, and that's saying something. We had fries with queso (and I don't recommend that, the queso was so plain and became hard quickly, but the fries were good). We tried traditional hot buffalo and the double dip sauce or something like that. It was a sweet and spicy mix that was so good and a house favorite. I definitely recommend giving them both a try. We ordered 20 wings and came home with 8. The food was filling and it wasn't much more than any other mid priced establishment. The restaurant is inside multiple train cars what are lined up parallel to each other. You can look out of the windows and see another train car of guests enjoying delicious food. The menu was very diverse with burgers, steaks, salads, nachos and of course wings. The table next to us ordered the Philly nachos and the smell of the steak, cheese and pepper combination filled the car. The only down side to being in a train car was the noise definitely echos. If you are next to screaming babies or a loud table of tipsy women your ears will be ringing a bit, but I'd say it's still worth it and maybe just part of the experience. Another downside is no garlic wings, oh man I wish they had that on the menu because I'm sure they'd be amazing. Regardless, this is an awesome stop and one we plan to bring family to. The food is tops, the service was great and the atmosphere was pretty cool too. I've included a picture of some leftovers, these wings are even good the day after and they are so big.
