After being in Korea was excited to hear about this restaurant and their concept. They definitely nailed the quick, have everything in a bowl that can be eaten on the go with no issue. I was a little concerned about coming here because of what the reviews said, but I ended up going anyways. It was lonely and the lady was very patient and explained the menu since i was a first timer. She was kind and patient. I ended up getting a bowl with noodles,cabbage, and white rice with 2 proteins: which included: beef and koko chicken along with a level 6 spice sauce! And added dumplings on the side with a drink. I am constantly looking for a restaurant that serves Jab Che - not the most popular spelling, but the spelling that was used in the restaurant where I discovered it - everywhere I go. So naturally, when I saw this place going up that served Jab Che noodles (or, actually dangmyeon, or "glass noodles"), I wanted to try it out. These noodles are made from sweet potatoes. And although I cannot stand sweet potatoes, they add another level of flavor to noodles! So, I got my bowl with extra noodles and no rice. The chicken Katsu was crispy and tasty. They have 10 different sauce "heats". I like heat, but I usually start with a medium sauce. The med was ok as far as heat, almost too mild for me. It was super sweet, and actually a bit too sweet for me. So next time I plan on dialing the heat up a bit. The size of the bowls is just a bit larger than I thought they would be, I'd call them medium sized. They are expensive. A few years ago I'd expect a bowl to be about $7. To today's inflation, I'd say $10. But today, it was $13. Definitely not something I would get every day. But it was nice for a bit of a treat and a change. If these were wheat noodles, or mostly rice, I'd never pay that much. We also got the Mandu (potstickers) on the side. These were probably the best, or near the best "potstickers" I've had. Usually they are soft and boiled or something, but these were grilled and crispy. Had much more of a better flavor and texture - Mandu is way better! Stuck between a 4 and a 5, overall, I give them 5 stars for quick cooked (not raw or soggy), and tasty food. Food preparers that were quick, courteous and ran their operation like a well oiled machine. It was easy to order and an enjoyable experience. We'll eat again here for sure, but it's not an everyday... or every week... or every monthly thing. read more

After my first time trying this place, I'm sad I wasn't at the grand opening! This is by far my new favorite spot! The atmosphere is clean, modern, unique and vibrant. The staff was super friendly and helpful with how their establishment works. They also are stingy with the sauces and THATS my type of spot. The sauces have variations so everyone can have their heat preference. The food OMGGGGGG to die for. I've been craving a Korean dog and they have them here too. The food is fresh, filling and so delicious. The prices are right and they have reward system that I can get behind! My only complaint is there isn't a location closer to my house, probably good for my wallet but seriously bring one to far east! I will be returning probably every other week. Great customer service. I stopped by today after a long day of shopping to grab a quick bite to take back home for the fam. It was completely empty. I was greeted by multiple worker on my way to the counter. Didn't catch the name of the gentleman that helped me, but he gave me tons of samples to help aid in my selection. After seeing the great reviews from this place I was expecting to be blown away but that was not the case. The rice was old and hard. I honestly think the food (Rock Bop) had no flavor. I'm so disappointed because I really like this place and the food is good but they always forget something. Whether it's drive through, delivery, or in person. I have to keep reminding them over and over again. It really takes away from the experience too. When an inconvenience happens they offer free food but I don't want free food.
