Honestly I am a new member to Yelp and have visited this particular Rib Crib in the end of August 2013...since I had a great experience here assuming things haven't changed, this restaurant gives great food at great service. We had a very good dinner at RibCrib BBQ & Grill (Clovis, NM) tonight! The food came out fast and tasted amazing! Out waitress was very fast and keep our drinks full. It's currently Ribfest so All-You-Can-Eat ribs the whole month of May. I got through 3 orders of ribs and 4 orders of different sides. I should taken more photos but I was too hungry to take photos. Haha. The baby back ribs were cooked perfectly. They had little to no pull to them. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and requested lean meat only and they made it perfect for her. Looks like a new manager out of the Amarillo RibCrib is running ours here and is doing a good job at it. The whole time we were here all the staff was staying busy cleaning something. The manager walked to each table taking with customers to make sure everything was good. I really like that that about him, because you never see that anymore at most restaurants. If you haven't eaten here or haven't been here in a while I'd say give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

I don't understand why Yelp gives RibCrib such a low star rating. this is by far the best restaurant in all of Clovis and one of the best I've eaten at anywhere in the country. All of their ribs fall off the bone. The portions are huge and the prices are cheap. Their salads are also some of the best I've ever had. Make sure to try their barbecue ranch dressing. I'm only in Clovis for a few days for business and I haven't eaten anywhere else since I got here. The waitstaff is amazing too. They even have parking spots reserved for veterans which makes me feel really good. If you're in Clovis New Mexico, I highly recommend you eat at Rib Crib. My husband found this place on yelp so we decided to give it a try. Now I know what you're thinking: New Mexico BBQ?! Rib Crib?! Even the name sounds gimmicky, but man I am soooo glad we stopped here! The service was quick and friendly and the BBQ was amazing! I mean when I think of New Mexico, I really don't think BBQ. Who does? But this place was seriously legit. My husband got the pulled pork and I got the sweet ribs. The price was moderate to just slightly above. I believe my ribs were about $15.99 or $16.99. My god I can't believe how good the ribs actually were. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of pink, great char, juicy, smokey, flavorful and meaty. These were not skimpy skinny ribs. There was plenty of meat to tear into. The 3 sauces on the table are great if you want to customize your own BBQ sauce to add that extra kick (which I did). The fries were crispy and very well seasoned and the cole slaw was fresh and full flavored. I was surprised at how crisp the slaw was. Everything tasted homemade. We even got to keep the plastic "Rib Crib" cups as a souvenir which I was actually really happy about. This is one of those pleasantly surprising places you don't expect to find, but you're glad you did. If you ever find yourself passing through, don't let the name and the state deter you. Ordered delivery and after an hour of waiting I called to check on it, the girl I think her name was Leslie told me if was going to be another hour to an hour and a half. I told her to just cancel the order and refund my debit card, 10 mins later the food was at my door. It was so cold I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs. Half the order was missing so I called back to be put on hold for 20 mins while waiting for the manager because Leslie said the manager was really busy. I was in Clovis for about a year and went to this place fairly often. The Rib Crib is a chain restaurant but don't hold that against them, their ribs are VERY good. This surprised me since chain restaurants don't know how to do BBQ in my opinion. Their brisket sandwiches are very good also. Something else I thought was cool is that they have four different types of barbecue sauce on the tables and they are all pretty good. Pros: good prices and the staff was very friendly. You get your money's worth as far as portions go. Cons: Clovis, NM is out in the middle of nowhere so you are truly in god's country if you are out there, LOL, although New Mexico is a beautiful state. I feel kind of odd giving this place 4-stars since I really look down upon chain-restaurant BBQ but this place is the exception. Very good restaurant overall. read more

My husband went to dinner with a friend I asked him to bring me home something and when he opens the box I thought he brought home his left overs. There was hardly anything and it didn't look good. There was no sauce for the ribs so they didn't taste that great. The potato was what got this 3 stars if not it would have one. We had dinner here on Father's Day. The ambiance of the restaurant is what I'd expect for a barbeque restaurant - cowboy/country - but the restaurant is neat and clean. The food was really good. Two of the party split a Father's Day special with ribs, brisket and two sides. They said the ribs were excellent. Two of the party had the Pig sandwich which is brisket, pulled pork and sausage. The flavor was really good, and I love when I can get barbeque sausage. They have three kinds of sauces, but I only tried the hot. It was nice and spicy with a good kick. This was awesome after being on the road for 5hrs with a baby! The waitress was super sweet and very helpful! Other staff made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to help carry things to the car when we finished. We got our food fast and it was nice and hot and so good! We took a to-go box. Went here for the first time and over all was very pleased! Pros: The place smells amazing! If I had known how strong the BBQ smell would travel, I would have gone here a long time ago! I can't comment on the food, because I didn't eat, just sat with my family. However, the customer service was great. They were more than helpful with my questions, our waitress was extremely nice. The look and feel of the place was pretty cool. It was a little cramped when going towards the bathroom near the bar stool thing. The bathroom itself was a little on the grungy side for the men but as long as I am not wading through feces, I couldn't care about grungy. The sinks were awful though, never used such a lousy sink in my life! There was a group seating table near the front. To the left if you are entering. There was a group there and you had to literally squeeze your way through. Not very accommodating to anyone with a wheel chair or gait issue especially if requiring an assistive device such as a cane or walker. Smells so good!! read more

Ummm well first time here. We'd just flown in from Washington,DC. My boyfriend was extremely excited as he is very in tune with Carolina BBQ. Needless to say the service was amazing. Our waiter was awesome....the food...well although it looked good the taste didn't match. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and yes that was good. My boyfriend wasn't impressed with the wings or the ribs which was a bit disheartening seeing he was so excited. Where I suffered was the desert. There were so many great looking options. I ordered the fudge brownie sundae.... Ummm I guess I didn't pay attention to the fact that there was no hot brownie or warm fudge. Everything was cold so it didn't make for a great sundae.
