My youngest let me try her chicken enchiladas ($12.99) - pretty good! The other girl had a cheeseburger which she seemed to enjoy ($13.49). My heart was set on the "Cook's Favorite Con Queso" ($15.99) - "A hamburger steak topped with our own homemade green chili cheese sauce, sprinkled with cheddar cheese served with rice, beans, red chili salsa and basket of tostadas." The green chili cheese sauce was amazingly hearty and mild with spice. I did not want to stop eating it. Lol. I was not, however, a fan of the red chili salsa at all. It tasted too much like Pace Picante Sauce to me. The service was really great. Plenty of free parking. To date, they only had a sign that said "Restaurant" on the outside, so it was hard to tell if we were at the right place. No wonder my work crew always eats here when they travel to the Clovis area. All in all as our first time going there, I would not return. The food was mediocre (although the brisket was good) and did not make up for the poor service.

My wife asked where is the manager and the server said do you want me to get him. My wife told the server you were going to get him earlier what happened. At that point with frustration building we just got our ticket and paid minus the wings. I told my frustration that the manager doesn't have the common courtesy to come out and speak to us. I asked the his name and was advised Devonte. I stopped by here because many local restaurants in Clovis are closed on Mondays. I was immediately greeted by a very welcoming and accommodating staff. I tried the teriyaki chicken bowl and had a house salad. The chicken teriyaki have a nice variety of vegetables to include cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. Everything was fresh and tasty.
