First time customer, greeted by the owner and wife. They were very friendly. Offered me samples of the pork rib tips, greens and turkey tips. I ordered large tip n link combo. Very good tips you can taste the smoke flavor and tender. Links were very good kind of dry. Greens were very good, corned bread w good too. Hubby got a steak burger he liked it. I will be coming back again to try other things. This is a little hole in the wall but good food. Little pricey but you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying for good food. I drove 25 min to them. Give them a try and their black owned.

    Mac and Cheese

I decided to go to Rib Brothers after hearing their ad on WVON radio. I phoned in my order I was towed to the order will be ready in 15 minutes, and I arrived in 20 minutes later it was hot and ready to go. I ordered a small rip tip, Macaroni and cheese and a peach cobbler on the side. However, I was too full to eat the peach cobbler so I'll have to attempt it tomorrow. But it smells delicious. The owner, Mike, and his wife were there. They're very kind and very knowledgeable about the Barbecuing Business. I will gladly return to their restaurant again. JR

Just ok..Mac and cheese is loaded with black pepper so I couldn't eat it, greens were just ok..cornbread taste like refrigerator..but hey I gave it a try, just won't try it again. Small family restaurant and it's not the cleanest place either

This is what was left of my quarter chicken meal. Bbq sauce on the side. Smoky and delicious!

This is the some of the best bbq I have had in Chicago, period. I have had Smoque, Blackwood, Lem's and the late Uncle John's but Rib Brothers definitely hold their own. I only wish they served brisket. Their rib tips, however, were super tender, moist and seasoned perfectly. The smoky flavor was right on point and balanced perfectly with their tangy yet slightly sweet sauce. As other reviewers have mentioned they put a Cajun seasoning on their fries and fried chicken wings that is delicious. It really compliments the food. We also had the mac and cheese which was good along with the potato salad. The standouts were the ribs, links, and wings. I can't finish this review without mentioning the outstanding service here. There were two girls there, I believe the daughters of the owner, and they couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. They offered me a free sample when I told them it was my first visit. This will definitely be my go-to bbq spot!

    Burnt Bbq and faulty container

I had a delivery from this establishment. I ordered a link and tip combo. The tips were tough and burnt. They also packaged the Bbq in a paper container. Once I removed the food from the bag the bowl began to fall apart. Stop being cheap. Bbq should be in styrofoam packaging! The only think eatable was the cole slaw and potato salad.

Those brothers know how to make ribs. A little expensive, but they're good. Very nice and ethnic.

The staff was attentive and accommodated our every wish and went out of their way to make us happy. The food was delicious; we ordered baked chicken, Italian beef, potatoes, mac n cheese, green beans and salad. The price was more than fair and the portions were incredibly generous, loads of guests even left with containers of food for the next day. One of our guests commented that the room was the perfect mix of a sports bar and nice restaurant. I would highly recommended them for any special event.

Lawlor's is one of the many such places around here if it wasn't already obvious. A little farther away from the Beverly bars and hangouts. The menu is basic and there's pretty good prices. Basically we walked over here after hitting a few other of the area bars. It's actually in a new location. The older one used to be located closer to 111th and Pulaski. It was a true dive. This one though is a lot more modern looking. Has the same drinks but with food that's also edible. There's still a charm to it though. It's about $5 to get Jameson. There's also plenty on tap. It's about $7 for the Pretzel Bites. Kind of basic with a side of cheese sauce. I used mustard. The rest of the menu has meaty items like pork chops and things like that. Good place to come hang a bit. It's in a new location about a mile away from the old one. This is worth checking out getting away from the more popular places on Western.

Service from Nick (owner) was TERRIBLE…read more I was a long-time (20+ yr), loyal customer up til I was yelled at by Nick because I spoke up about consistently receiving orders much later than promised via online orders. I had placed many online orders for pick-up on my 30min lunch break, to ensure I had proper time to drive to, pick up my food, and quickly drive back from the restaurant. After a few pick-ups took around 20mins after promised time, I was pretty upset. I was told they only start making food once the person is there to pick it up, so I asked what's the point of placing an order online and receiving a pick-up time, when the food only starts to get made once you're at the restaurant to pick up? That's when the owner stepped in (My family and I have had many pleasant convos with him before at the old location), turned red, bunched up his face, and legit yelled at me "What do you expect? Do you want your fries to be cold or do you want them fresh?" (I was taken aback, and responded "I expect my order to be ready at the time indicated"). He told me I could go elsewhere. I get it. I was receiving consistently poor service and was upset when I asked the cashier about timing, so he stepped in to defend his worker. What I don't get is how you can tell a customer to go somewhere else when they're expecting their food at the time promised (or at least within 5 mins...I'm not THAT picky). Perhaps my expectations are too high?
