Way easier than the bank or triple a because they all order it and this place has it on hand and a way better rate by about 8 cents on the dollar. Even though the banks said they don't charge also triple a said they don't charge but your giving me a 56$ charge more than I did here the same day!!

The markup that's placed on the exchange is kinda dumb since it should be a direct exchange. The…read morecurrent rate for euros from dollar is $1 for €0.87. They are selling euros at 1.25 which is higher than the market. It's kinda obnoxious. On top of the over market exchange rate, they also charge their exchange fee. The employee at the counter when I questioned the cost, even told me the price can change by location you're in meaning if I was in a different state it could be higher or lower. Looking at the screen shots, with the current exchange rate I'd pay $574 for €500. CXI is charging $635 for €500 on top of the $10 exchange fee. Don't be fooled by the rates because they are probably intentionally inflated for their profit. Check with your bank before using this company

I always message them a couple days before on how much I need or when I can pick up, and they confirm and tell me who to talk to when I arrive. They are also very quick to respond. Misleading Phone Quotes and Unfulfilled Rate Guarantee…read more I am sharing this factual account of my experience to help other consumers save time. I called this location ahead of time to confirm the exchange payout for €1,500 cash. Over the phone, I was quoted a dollar payout in the high $1,900s. Based on this confirmation, I immediately drove to the store. Upon arrival, the representative informed me that the phone quote was a mistake--the employee had accidentally provided the store's *selling* rate (what a consumer pays to buy Euros) rather than their *buying* rate (what the store pays to purchase Euros). The actual walk-in rate offered to me was 1.05, a near 9% spread away from the current mid-market baseline of roughly 1.15. This lower rate meant a difference of over $150 less than expected. Furthermore, this business features prominent signage stating "Best Rate Guaranteed." I challenged the staff on this policy and offered to provide a digital recording and phone transcript proving that a competitor (Continental Currency) had just quoted me a buy rate of 1.12. Despite their advertised guarantee to offer the best rate, management refused to match the competitor's 1.12 rate, offering only to slightly adjust their own rate from 1.05 to 1.08. I declined the 1.08 counteroffer and took my business to the competitor instead. Prospective customers should be aware that phone quotes from this branch may not be reliable, and their advertised "Best Rate Guarantee" may not be honored, even when direct proof of a competitor's superior rate is presented.
