Super helpful staff, quick and easy ! We were in and out in less than 15 min. We went in to get our tags. Definitely would go again, affordable as well read more

Terrence took very good care of making sure I had foreign currency before my trip. It was my fourth time getting Currency from them and each time has been perfect so hats off to a wonderful group of Customer Service oriented dedicated staff read more

Our 2nd time coming here. They have always had the foreign currency we need and their rates are good.

Easy cash checking spot if you don't want to go to your bank. I believe the pricing per check is also good because other places I've been too over charged me. Sometimes it's long because of a lot of people otherwise it's quick in and out. read more

I needed to purchase some Euros for an upcoming trip so, of course, I looked on Yelp. I called my bank to get the exchange rate before calling this place. Continental Currency's exchange rate was better than my bank. Went there today. I was helped immediately. You must take cash. They don't accept credit cards. If I have any Euros left after my trip, I can take them back and exchange it to US$. They offer many other services besides currency exchange (DMV, check cashing, money orders, scanning, faxing, etc.). I highly recommend this place! read more

Didn't realize this was a chain since I usually go to the Santa Ana location! This spot is a great option in the IE if you're looking to exchange Japanese Yen - especially with the recent rate hovering around 148 yen, which is even better than what I got in Japan last year. Definitely message them ahead of time to confirm current rates and availability before you go. They're super responsive, friendly, and helpful! read more

Great place to exchange money! Been here a couple times for Euro's! Parking is a little sketchy but I have never had an issue!

Always the best exchange rate in the area. I've compared several times with other exchange counters, and this place consistently comes out on top. The staff are friendly, quick, and professional, and the whole process is straightforward without any hidden fees or surprises. I appreciate that they are transparent about their rates, and I always feel confident I'm getting the most value for my money here. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I need to exchange currency. read more

Easy, fast, straight-to-the-point. I called in ahead to inquire about exchanging my money and they were very thorough with getting me the service I needed--same day money exchange. The rate was great; no need to drive into LA-LA to get good rates when something like this is right at the door of Pomona. Would definitely recommend for money exchange services. Don't be afraid to call ahead to see how much they got on hand! They're helpful and willing to put it aside for you for a later-in-the-day drop-in. read more

Staff is very polite and was surprised to find out they actually have Euros and Yen on site. Not like the bank that takes a week and they charge a high rate for the exchange. I recommend this place 100% read more

Great service. Good rate. No fee. Message thru Yelp for currency exchange to Euro for travel, turned out no need. They have enough notes in different currencies. Mostly like new, crisp. Location looks like a bad neighborhood but the place is quite big and bright. They even have bollard at main door to protect any ramming vehicles. read more

I called around for rates, and this place had the best ones locally. It's crazy how long this spot has been around--I remember seeing it back when I was in grade school. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can also call ahead to check on rates since they change constantly and to see if they have the currency you need. I had to order Korean won, but it arrived the next day without any issues. Fair warning: the building is a bit run-down, and there might be some homeless individuals nearby, so just be a little extra cautious. read more

The price of the dollar to peso was really good. The service was excellent. The teller weren't rude like most places. They had a lot of inventory of pesos in stock. I'd go there again. They also answered questions through Yelp before heading to the location. read more

June, 27, 2025 10:49am Horrible customer service, I called to see if they exchanged BSD (Bahamas) to USD, I heard her clicking in her computer looking it up. She told me, "I looked it up and yes we do". I told her "great I'm on the way now, because the place I'm leaving doesn't exchange BSD". She said okay. I arrive there and the two ladies at the counter were talking and took a while to acknowledge me. When they finally did, I walked up and said " I was the one who just called about exchanging BSD". She asked for the currency, after looking at the bills for a minute she asked the other lady if she knew about these. The other lady looked at them and seemed confused. So the lady came back to me and said "we don't take these". I responded "I called and the lady I was talking to looked it up and told me that you did so I drove here". The two ladies looked at each other and she then said, " we only take eastern Caribbean currency ". I was soooo confused with that statement and highly annoyed. She didn't say sorry, no empathy or care of the misinformation I was given or the inconvenience of the drive. The ladies continued back talking as I walked out. When I got out the establishment, I stopped to take a picture because I had to write a review on my poor experience. read more

I ordered NTD (New Taiwan Dollar) and they assisted me with this with no issues. This is my 2nd time requesting for foreign currency I recommend them for your fax needs! read more

Contacted CCS to convert USD to NTD via Yelp. They were able to get me NTD for my trip and had it ready for me at their location. Rate was okay (not great, but not awful either). They are located in a strip mall in the same office as a check cashing, car registration, etc. in a strip mall in Pomona. Very good service with no surprises. Four stars overall. read more

Very professional and fast. They request currency that is harder to get. Process was eficient

Easy, fast and simple process for exchanging currently and they give a better rate than banks. This one is a no brainer.

Exchanged dollars to British pounds for my daughter's school trip to London and appear to have received the best rate in the area. Was definitely worth the drive from Rancho Cucamonga. read more

I came here to get currency for a trip to Europe. The team was really responsive online and was able to hold the amount of euros I requested for my trip for me. Exchange rates change daily, so I ended up being the worst exchange rate the following day when I stopped by. Unfortunate, but not the fault of Continental Currency Services. If you have time, I recommend checking in daily or frequently to get the exchange rate for that day. Call early and pick up later in the day. There wasn't a king wait when I got there and there was pretty good amount of parking. Overall, good experience. read more

Absolutely outstanding experience! The customer service was top-notch--friendly, efficient, and incredibly helpful. We received an excellent exchange rate of .0558, getting 9,000 Mexican pesos for $500.18 which saved us valuable time and extra stops once we arrived in Mexico. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would exchange their U.S. dollars anywhere else. You just can't beat the convenience and value offered here! read more

Got the currency I needed at a fair rate....all good! Good use a little sprucing up but still very helpfull people and easy transaction.

Jose was very responsive and kind when I asked him about a dollars to pesos exchange. I got to the business and the teller lady was extremely kind and gave me exact denominations I was looking for at a fair exchange rate. This will be my new go to for money exchange moving fwd. read more

Needed Euros for daughter's spring break trip. I of course left it to the very last minute. Searched for foreign exchange places on Yelp and this came up and was close to home. Called ahead to make sure they had the currency and in small denominations. They confirmed having both. Drove to Pomona, didn't realize Garvey was a long, long street. Coming from 60 fwy, drove northbound. Make sure to plug the address into your navigation system (I used Waze). Signage wasn't very clear from Garvey and almost missed it. In fact, I was skeptical that Waze was lying to me again. Pulled into the parking lot and realize I was at the right place after all. Waze redeemed herself, thankfully! Lots of parking available. I was there mid-morning on a Tuesday. Place was clean, no lines and was helped by a friendly lady on the other side of a glass counter. Bring cash. I later compared their rates against Wells Fargo foreign exchange and Continental gave me favorable rates! Saved some bucks and that just made my procrastination pay off. Highly recommend this place and will return for money exchanges in the future! Thank you Yelp for finding this place and thank you Waze for getting me there! read more

It wa easy fast and good service . I recommend you call in if ordering pesos , so you don't have to go twice. People are friendly read more

I have changed my review to 3 stars, I have to take responsibility for not checking your rates or getting a quote. I can't give 4 or 5 stars, because of the high exchange charge. Thank you for your offer to refund my money, but my vacation is coming up and I don't have time to. read more

Every time I come here to exchange for Mexican peso it is always the best bank for your buck. The Ria spots in the supermarkets don't give you as much for your exchange so I will continue to come here! read more

Manager was very quick in responding with up to the hour quote on exchanging USD to Euro. Stopped in same day and was helped by very courteous employee. No hassle, great price, in and out. Best quote I received in the area and I have been shopping around for a few weeks. No info on other services- but exchange rates being highly competitive are a great sign. read more

Fantastic place. Called them to get their exchange rate. Came in & got my $ in less than 5 minutes. Same transaction @ my local bank (BofA) would've taken 20-30 minutes! Definitely will be back!! read more

I always come here to exchange my currency before my overseas vacation. They have a better exchange rate than most of the currency services around POMONA and beyond. Tip: Just try to call and order currency a week ahead before your trip as they need some time to look for currencies especially some rare currencies like Moroccan Dirham. During this week process, try to call and ask for status update because sometimes they do tend to forget to keep you updated when the pickup date is delayed. The place is not the cleanest and the compound where the place is located is quite sketchy so avoid picking up your currencies at late evening. The women working in the counters are professional and friendly! Overall, I have great experience here! read more

Quick, easy, and for those travelers NO FEES! What a hidden gem. I will continue to use this for future trips where currency exchange is necessary. I suggest calling ahead to verify they have the type of current you'll need for your destination. Clerks are friendly and professional. read more

Easy to change currency for future or past travels. The location is closer than driving out to Ontario Mills mall. They answered my question in Yelp and when I called. read more

Total joke!! Useless! Waste of time! Multiple emails in advance by weeks in advance than days ahead of transaction only to not have the currency there than rearrange for the next day and still not right! Only one of the international currencies there and the other no show and be charged 6.5 %! Horrible useless never again read more

I called ahead because I needed EUROS for my trip to Europe, and the employee who answered asked me how much I needed, and then answered my question with yes. So, we headed on over to this place, and I was glad to see that there's plenty of parking! The inside is clean and is a large space. We were helped immediately since there was no line, only one other customer who was sitting down. The staff was very kind and helpful. They let us know there were no fees for currency exchange, and changed my USD to EUROS. They did not pressure us to sign us up for anything, did not lie about their exchange rates, or have fake quotes, unlike other businesses. The service was so quick! We were expecting and prepared to wait at least 30 minutes before getting out of there, but we were done in less than 5 mins! I will be coming back to this place for any of my currency exchange needs! read more

Very friendly and fast response to yelp request by Jose. They gave very competitive conversion rates for Japanese yen with no additional fees, barely beaten by two competitors on the west side of Los Angeles. Totally worth not making the drive all the way across town. Patti and the other employees were very friendly, professional, and fast. I will definitely come back for any currency exchanges I need in the future. By the way, they don't have a big sign that says Continental Currency Services, but you can't miss the huge check cashing lobby. read more

Fast and courteous service. Will use again! Definitely recommended. Just email and or call read more
