The markup that's placed on the exchange is kinda dumb since it should be a direct exchange. The current rate for euros from dollar is $1 for €0.87. They are selling euros at 1.25 which is higher than the market. It's kinda obnoxious. On top of the over market exchange rate, they also charge their exchange fee. The employee at the counter when I questioned the cost, even told me the price can change by location you're in meaning if I was in a different state it could be higher or lower. Looking at the screen shots, with the current exchange rate I'd pay $574 for €500. CXI is charging $635 for €500 on top of the $10 exchange fee. Don't be fooled by the rates because they are probably intentionally inflated for their profit. Check with your bank before using this company read more

I called last week and asked if they accept Costa Rican coins & bills AND Canadian money. They said only Costa Rican Bills and Canadian bills & coins. Today, I drove there and got lost. Yelp directions were incorrect. It took me to the welcome center inside the mall. So I went back to my car and drove to the other side of the mall. I called again as I still could not locate this establishment. They said, "We are next to Forever21 and the food court." I gave them my foreign money and they couldn't take my Canadian coins only 2 type of coins were accepted. Silver coins (not the copper ones). And the Costa Rican bills were out of date. Apparently they have new bills now. So I was given incorrect information???? So I drove all the way over to collect $1.06?? Not worth it. read more

I've used this place twice now. I recently reached out to them via Yelp to inquire about exchanging currency for Euros and Lira for my upcoming trip to Greece and Turkey. I had a response from Crystal the next morning. Euros are always on hand, but Turkish Lira has to be ordered, which I suspected would be the case. I told her the amounts I wanted via Yelp and provided the requested information for her to place the order. I was told it would take 2-4 business days for the order to arrive. Crystal called me just a couple days later to inform me my order was in. I was shocked at how quickly it arrived! I had a week to pick it up. She verified their hours with me over the phone so I could plan my visit. This place is located right next to the Food Court and the little carousel is right outside their business. Don't use Google Maps, it's going to take you to the wrong place and you'll have to walk completely around the mall. There was a line when I arrived and they only had one window open, and looked like only one employee working as well. The line moved at a decent pace and I told the gal I had an order for pickup. She was very friendly and very helpful. She counted out the bills and exchanged some of the amounts for the Euros so I'd have a better mix of bills. Unfortunately, that option wasn't available for the Lira, what they sent was what I got. Not a huge deal, just would have liked some larger bills so the "wad" isn't as thick lol! You save on their transaction fee with Yelp checkin as well. I recommend this place for sure! read more

The official exchange rate of the day was 1.1566$ USD per EUR. The rate that Currency Exchange gave me was approximately 1.0489 dollars per euro. So, their fee was $60.83. I think a bit much, no? Exchange rates are crazy high. I paid $637 for 500 euros. My friend went through her bank and paid $550. If you have time try to go through a bank for a better rate. Stopped by on Saturday, 03/11/23. Very convenient place for you to exchange money, however this place does not keep all currencies in stock (i.e., Singapore and Hong Kong).
