I can't believe this place is so close to my apartment! I was worried as to how I would change USD into Japanese Yen and started to research some banks in the area, as I was told they were the most reliable. However, after a quick search on Google, I was able to find this place. I spoke with someone on the phone right when they opened yesterday. I didn't get her name, but she was extremely helpful and told me their current exchange rates without any fuss. The rate was really good and I made my way there within the hour. Manvel helped me exchange the currency within two to three minutes and I was out of the joint within 5 minutes. Manvel was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with ease! Glad to say, I will definitely keep this place bookmarked for my next overseas trips, as they exchange currency for most major countries and their rates are extremely hard to beat! read more

I've gone here a couple of times before an international trip to exchange dollars. My experience here is nothing but good. Good exchange rates, friendly staff and very professional. I highly recommend this place if you want a fair exchange rate and to save yourself from having to exchange money at your international destination, which leaves you more time to enjoy your vacation! read more

Absolutely superb service here today. Nice employee with a sense of humor along with BEST exchange rate in town; can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you, LA Currency Inc! read more

So easy! Free exchange, went in with cash and came out with foreign cash ahead of my international trip, so didn't have to worry about getting gouged at the airport and losing money on the switch. I called ahead to make sure that the location had the type of money I needed, so I do recommend you do that! If the specific branch you've called doesn't have it, they can let you know which of their branches nearby does. I'll never exchange money any other way! read more

Great service ! Needed some cash to go on a cruise to Cabo! - my new go to when I need international cash ! Thank you !!

We love LAcurrency- we always get foreign currency here when we travel - the staff are awesome and their exchange rates just can't be beat! Plus they always have a Yelp check in offer - $3 off $300 on exchanges. Their exchange fees are also very reasonable- truly the best we've ever found...they beat all the banks and definitely the airport kiosks lol. We've always used the downtown office in the past since my hubby's office is nearby - but since the pandemic caused him to work from home, we wanted somewhere closer - this location was excellent! We needed some Canadian dollars - I called ahead of time to make sure they had enough and the man I spoke to was absolutely wonderful! So friendly and helpful. He let me know exactly how much I'd be getting and the fees etc - just lovely to chat to. And the lady that helped us in person was just as nice and service is super fast! They're located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. It felt very safe. Our Canadian bills were all in excellent condition- most of them looked brand new even. We had a great experience here! We travel a TON and will definitely be back! read more

Very happy with my experience at this local currency exchange. Rates were fair and service was prompt and friendly. Exchanged some USD for Thai Bhat before a trip and was given a relatively good exchange rate which they were able to tell me ahead of time, and they were also able to provide smaller bills which was nice. Would definitely return! read more

Went to exchange for Japanese Yen, fast and easy. For orders less than 1,000.00 USD, only need driver's license and phone number. In and out in less than 5 minutes (no line). Fair rate of exchange, better than Bank of America and got yen right then and there. Used yelp coupon to get back $3.00 on conversion. read more
