I came at 5:55PM and the sign says they close at 6PM on Sundays and the manager closed early and was counting the register and refused to help out me and the other customers outside. I called and he said "What do you want me to do?" He then hung up and refused to help the customers. Management please review your footage and get a better manager who can stay until closing. I came here to cash a check that my mom gave me last month. It's been in my wallet for awhile and so it is getting worn, but you can still read everything on it. After waiting 10-15 min. And answering a million questions, she then says they can't cash it because the machine can't read the check, because the numbers at the bottom are getting worn.. (Even though you can still visually read it). Gross waste of time.. read more

At the outset, please notice the bad reviews are quite old. I came here on a Saturday morning (they were open earlier than other places) because I needed some British pounds for a gift, quickly. They had the small amount I needed, their exchange rate was not bad at all, there were no additional fees, and the tellers were professional, helpful , and extremely polite. (I mean they laughed at my dad jokes, right?) I would definitely recommend these folks to anyone in town, and especially my friends. So what about those older, bad reviews? It is of course, important to remember that these folks make their money by giving you a slightly lower exchange rate than the official one you can find on the web. It is also useful if you know what the official rate is when you walk in so you get an idea of what it's costing you to make the exchange. In that respect, and in any business like this, an educated consumer is going to be a happier consumer, or be able to judge if they need to go elsewhere. But the difference between those old reviews and the service I received was so vast, I just asked if there was a new owner or something. Apparently, it's the "or something'," as there has recently been a new manager. Bravo new manager: nice work! Thank you tellers, wonderful experience. read more

Of the 10 different currency exchange places I called, CCS had the best rates for pesos. They had a rate that no one else even came close too (because they purchased pesos the week before and the rate was better that week). Unfortunately, I failed to pick up the money when I said I would, and they sold it to someone else the next day :(. I will definitely think of them in the future for currency exchange. I just needed 75 Euro. Banks and other places want you to pay out the nose with a high exchange rate and fees on top. At the mall they were going to charge me $25 above the exchange rate. But this place was great. The exchange rate right now is $1.20 to 1E and I got the 75E for $93. That's like $3.00 above cost. My only complaint was that when I called in and said I wanted to buy Euros the guy never said they had a limited amount. So be sure to ask if they have the amount you need before you drive over there. It all turned out well but if I had needed much more, or if someone came in ahead of me, they would not have had enough. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is terrible. The 3 women working took so long with each customer, which I typically wouldn't mind if they were providing good service. But they were taking long because they didn't know how to do anything. Two of them asked for the third one for help on every transaction! It's like they didn't know how to do their job...at all. When I asked a question about my transaction all three of them proceeded to answer the question but they all were giving me attitude. All I wanted was some clarity on their policy and all three of them became defensive and rude to me. This place is unprofessional and needless to say they won't be getting my business again. Never going to this business again. I went this evening to cash a check, I handed the check to the girl and she started the process. At some point she tells me that I owe them money, I ask what did that mean. I was told that a few weeks before I was given more money than was written on a check. I'm a very busy person and had no idea this happened. She told me, that because the girl made a mistake that I had to pay them back. So she continued and withheld $60 that I had no idea I owed. I understand that I should have checked that previous time, but when your busy and getting out of work late. You don't always check, why should I be punished for the mistake this girl made. In my field, if I make a mistake I have to pay for it. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe it's me being pissed that I went in there with a check and came out with only a portion back, but I'm never going there again. Moral of the story is stay away from this place. I will be calling there corporate office tomorrow and will let them know what I think of there business practice. read more

I've gone to this place a few times.. and the service is okay. I went in a few days ago and saw a pregnant girl mopping. As far as I know you can't be lifting heavy things while pregnant let alone mopping. It's dangerous. What If she was to fall? This is bad. Why does management let her do that?
