I like this currency exchange place, the staff are very nice. I went there but the currency was not available, they ordered it for me and I was able to pick it up before my travel. read more

I've used Continental Currency Services for three trips to Europe, one trip to Switzerland, one trip to Japan, and two trips to Canada. They've been outstanding every time: reliable, efficient, and easy to work with, and most importantly, the exchange rate has consistently been the best. Simply the best. Highly recommended! read more

Friendly and easy service - no added fees! Highly recommend. I will be using this place from now on!

I ordered some foreign currency ahead of time, via phone. When I got there, I waited in line for 30 minutes, then was told that they only accept cash, which I didn't have. It's a very small curtesy to give customers all the information they need. read more

Very fast service the place was nice and clean the value of not having to wait in line to get my tag.

Conveniently located CCS location in Westminster, on the Northeast (NE) corner of Beach Blvd and McFadden Ave. They offer fairly decent rates, and only accept cash to buy foreign currencies. The staff is welcoming and effective at their critical jobs and would definitely return here again for my currency conversion needs. Note that ATM is available in adjacent Supermarket, however there is a limit of $200 per withdrawal so you may want to explore other options to avoid excessive fees, if your bank does impose them :) read more

I wanted to exchange US dollars to Philippine Pesos. I received a quick response from Terrance - he outlined conversion with fee clearly along with when I can arrange to pick up currency. read more

Best exchange rate by far. Don't bother with the bank, rip-off. I always come here.

Went in to get euro. They had enough euro to cover what I needed. Didn't need to wait for the money to come in. Great service. Would definitely come here again. read more

Great service. Helpful staff. I recommend calling them to check if they have the currency you're looking to do an exchange for.

Went here for their currency exchange services. Gave me a much better rate than Wells Fargo for euros. Service was easy and quick. I gave them cash and they gave me euros. I got some 5s, 20s 50s and 100s. I didn't ask for more smaller bills but I should have asked so I don't know if they would have given me more 5s and 20s. Overall very satisfied. I also asked them on the yelp app what their exchange rate was and they responded quickly and accurately. So if you don't trust me that they have a great exchange rate see what your bank is offering and then call them and compare. read more

Easy, friendly service. They had plenty of denominations in Euro. Would use again. Thank you! read more

Such a great experience! Best rate in area and was such an easy transaction. I recommend them 100%

Great place for currency exchange! I always get good service and a good exchange rate.

I just got back from Costa Rica and had some colones left over. I couldn't find a bank who would exchange this for USD but these guys did. The manager messaged me right away on Yelp and told me the rate. It was way better than the airport rate (which I was going to do until the currency lady at the airport disappeared and I had to get on my flight). If you've got some extra foreign cash, this place seems to be a good option. Took me less than a minute to get my USD. Amazing. read more

Useless. Unknowledgeable terrible customer service that just wants to hang up the phone.

This place gave me the best exchange rate around my area. Definitely consider this place the next time you want to exchange currencies. The only downside is that their selection of currencies is limited. Other than that, great customer service, easy exchange process, and no additional fees. Their other location that I got referred to charged exchange fees. I recommend to contact them first before you go and exchange. Overall. I'm glad I exchanged my USD to Euro here. Arrived in Italy and all the exchange places charged higher. read more

Rates that can't be beat! Messaged for a quote through Yelp and they were very responsive and up front with the rates. Needed euros for our France trip and I was happy with the exchange. For Sure recommend. read more

I was going to Puerto Vallarta and decided I should exchange my money! They don't charge you any type of fee but obviously they take a percentage of the pesos! They were very helpful and I feel like they had the best rate out of everyone in the area. read more

Overall Bad customer service. Called to make a loan payment. Was told I don't have to do anything and the payment will be taken out my bank electronically. Called again they said payment was late and I have to pay $15 penalty read more

Always the friendliest staff !!! I come to this place to exchange my money for all my trips. They always have money for me to exchange from USD to MXN and USD to JPN. Also, their Yelp responses are fairly quick to check if they have enough money for your transaction. read more

The service here it's terrible. I waited in line for 15 minutes only to get to the lady at the front who tells me it's cash only. There's no sign or anything that tells you that, I even called before and they didn't say anything about cash only. I had to get out of the line I've already waited in to pull cash... the lady made me get back in line which already had 5 people in it. They should tell you it's cash only or have a sign up at a minimum. P read more

Great place to get a higher rate same day than other places. Friendly staff. Made sure I double counted the money to make sure the accurate amount was given. I called ahead to make sure the currency was in stock so that would be my suggestion just in case. However at the time of this post 2023 I wanted US to CAD and the rate at time was $1 usd is equated to $1.29 cad. Rates are subject to change so I would rather emphasize calling ahead. read more

Excellent service by General Manager, Jose Herrera, and the District Manager at the Westminster location (but I forgot her name). Both very responsive and had order ready upon my arrival in my requested denominations. Good exchange rates so very convenient to get my foreign currency there before traveling abroad. Highly recommended. read more

Fast and reliable. Any time you need currency exchange they're ready. Their staff is great too, very helpful and friendly.

I was looking to exchange some USD for pesos, so I decided to give them a message asking about rates and how quickly I would be able to pick up the pesos since I was leaving to Mexico in 48 hours. Not only did Jose respond quickly, he was also thorough about the exchange rate, the cost in USD, and asked if I wanted them to set me up for pick up right away. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly! read more

Came to this location as it is closer to where I live. I normally go to the Bristol location which has constantly given great service and the staff was always so nice. Arranged for some Bahamian Dollars and Mexican Pesos. Called the Bristol location and was given the rate. Asked if the same rate as the Beach Blvd location and was told yes. Person said monies would be sent to the Beach Blvd location the afternoon of the following day. I called that day to confirm the Beach Blvd location received the monies. I called for business hours and said I'll either be there that day or sometime after they open the following day. I arrived at the Beach Blvd location the following day and waited in line. When it was my turn, the lady was vague on the Bahamian Dollars and gave me what was discussed the other day without appearing to check the exchange rate. The rate improved per online currency exchange search. When it came to the pesos, the lady checked the rate and said it went down and gave me a lower rate. Why check for the Mexican Peso and not for the Bahamian Dollar?. I'm never coming back to this location. read more

I've been here twice to cash my checks and spoke to two different ladies and they were both helpful and pleasant and I got it done within 10 minutes both times! read more

I cannot stress enough how professional and dedicated to customer service this business is. I sent messages about exchanging USD for Indian Rupees to three different Yelp businesses, as my trip was four days away. Jose from CCS was the only representative who messaged me back (within the hour). Via a series of IMs, Jose had the exact amount of Rupees that I needed transferred from the Santa Ana location to the Westminster location near my house within 48 hours and kept me informed every step of the way. There was NO FEE to exchange and no wait when I did go in to pick up my Rupees. Don't be a fool! Come here for all of your exchange needs! Best experience with money exchange I ever had. I will be coming back for my future currency exchange needs! Believe that! read more

They have better exchange rate than other foreign exchange places I've checked in the area. They even responded to my inquiries in a timely manner. Great service! Besides good exchange rate they don't charge fees unlike other places I've checked. Will definitely come back here again when I plan my next trip to Europe. read more

Fast, easy currency exchange. I did not need an appointment. Highly recommend. Easy parking.

Horrible service. Went to speedy cash instead to cash my check. The lady said if I didn't sign in front of her (I endorsed and signed before I went inside) she wouldn't cash it. Just go to speedy cash down the street in Stanton where they go through quick verification processes to make sure you get your cash from your check. Much more efficient than going to this place. read more

Quick replies for currency exchange. Ended up being a bit cheaper in person than the quote, both at a great rate! Customer service was 10/10. Quick and understanding. read more

Great service, low exchange rate for usd to euro. They were the best exchange rate we could find without a service fee. Great place to do business and will visit them again. read more

The worst location. Gave me the wrong exchange rate then wanted to charge me a fee on top of it. The employee couldn't answer any questions because "that's what the computer says".....wow Is continental a joke? Never heard of them before today. I called 4 locations plus corporate amd went to 2 locations including this one. I wasted 2 hours in the hopes of exchanging a measly 10 Canadian dollars. Such a scam! read more

Everyone should do their currency foreign exchange here. They will be more fair in exchanging the value of your money than other places. They are also quick in exchanging money, I had to leave for London in a day and they were able to accommodate my request for British pounds. My bank wanted me to wait a week for it!! I got great service and fast response time when I originally inquired about their exchange rate. read more

Had to get currency exchanged before a trip to Europe earlier this summer and they made it so quick and painless! I contacted them the evening before via Yelp messenger. They had a very quick response time and let me know what my total in US dollars would be for the euros and pounds I needed. My order was ready for me to pick up the next day so I was able to walk in and out with no issues! Will definitely be using them again for any future trips abroad! read more

Great exchange rate and fast service. The only bummer is they don't have enough small bills for Mexican pesos.

Worst experience ever and total waste of time and the shop smelt like sulfur. Walmart couldn't cash my check, and this place wouldn't because I had already signed the back of it. I asked the clerk to show me the policy but didn't have one! read more

Jose provided amazing service! I was in need of sending British currency to the British government. My credit union does not handle foreign wire transfers and I really didn't want to have to use a big bank. I first sent a message on Thursday night and a check was ready Friday afternoon. Very appreciative of his service. read more
