The owner recently helped us in an emergency for a memorial service for a 20 year old who died of cancer. She came through with almost 300 sunflowers for us with only a couple of hours notice, and gave them to us as a donation!!! I will never order or buy flowers from anyone else. Lisa at Rhythm and Blooms did the flowers for my wedding. Having bought beautiful plants from R&B in the past, I was optimistic they would do a good job, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Lisa was incredibly patient and helpful, answering countless texts and sending pictures for feedback as she assembled the bouquets and other arrangements. I wanted bright, lovely flowers, and that is exactly what I got. My husband loved the flowers she did for my hair so much that he asked if I would dry and save them. Heard great things about this place ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered at her work knowing she has had a rough week and today was going to be rough too. Paid $170 for flowers and delivery before 10 am to be delivered a half mile away from the shop. Told them she leaves between 4-4:30 and would like them there early so she could enjoy them. They said no problem have a truck going out at 10:30 and 2:00. Thankfully she had to work late. She finally got them as she was leaving just in time to carry them out to her car. No time to enjoy them or brighten her day. More of a burden than anything. Very disappointed will not use them again. Complete waste of money and time. read more

This is the 3rd time I have called R&B for local delivery and I was very pleased not only with the actual arrangements, but with the customer service. Very disappointing. I had a wedding consultation with Patsy. In person she was great and advised that she would have a quote ready in a week. Two weeks later I followed up with her and she seemed annoyed. Another week goes by and still no quote. Finally I do receive a quote and the pricing is dramatically different than what we discussed in person. The cost of the bridal bouquet more than doubled!! I responded questioning the difference and asking if we could get the price lower by changing some of the flower selections and received a prompt reply that she would look into it... It has now been 3 more weeks and I have not received any additional communication. Needless to say I will not be going with Patsy at Rythm & Blooms, she majorly dropped the ball and I wouldn't trust her to follow through since she cant even return an email. read more

I ordered through FTD a plant shaped and decorated like a Christmas tree from this company. Also I asked form them a stuffed animal and box of chocolates to go with this Christmas order and matching Christmas type card with a holiday greeting. What did my order turn out to be? A inexpensive flower arrangement that looks like it was bought at the local grocery store, an inexpensive stuff animal that looks like it was bought at the local Dollar store and a nice box of chocolates. I went to R & B website and looked at their Christmas arrangements and costs. I realized I paid almost triple the cost of the cheap flower arraignment in a plain glass jar-nothing to do with Christmas- bear, & chocolates. SHAME ON YOU!! for abusing people who have to order for their loved ones at a distance. Shame on them for over charging so much for so little. To make it worse A card that looks like it should go to a funeral was attached. PLEASE stay away from this company that uses it once good name to rip off people. read more

I'm from Palm Springs CA. I was preparing to attend my first Oregon Duck game and attend a tailgate party with long time loyal Duck fans. I wasn't sure how I could do my share for the party atmosphere as we were flying in on Friday afternoon and heading for Autzen Stadium early Saturday. Sooo, having been accustomed for ladies wearing "football corsages" at CAL Bear football games in Berkeley CA...I decided to get corsages for some of the ladies in our group. I called several florists in Eugene and found only one friendly person willing to help me. Michelle at Rhythm and Blooms did a special order for the perfectly sized flowers, decorated them with green and yellow ribbons & had them individually boxed. She had them delivered to our hotel (Valley River Inn) in the late afternoon to keep them as fresh as possible. Needless to say, the gang at the tailgate party were pleasantly surprised and impressed. Thank you again Michelle! I spent quite a bit of time on the phone explaining that I wanted a "big, old-fashioned bouquet with old-fashioned flowers like iris, roses, delphinium, peonies" for a memorial. I okayed spending $225 for it. One would think it would be a WOW bouquet. The flowers that were delivered were a wreath. Granted, they were old-fashioned, but a wreath that you put on a door? I called the florist during the memorial to ask why it wasn't a bouquet. She resent the order which stated "easel spray". So now I'm supposed to be a florist and learn her vernacular? I was given "partial credit". Two days later I was told I should've returned the flowers if I weren't happy (leave the memorial?) and learned the partial credit was 10%. Really? The manager ended up giving me a 50% credit. How did I go from "big bouquet" to wreath? read more

The arrangement my mother received was a very beautiful arrangement and the flowers were pretty. However,I specifically ordered an arrangement that had a purple theme but rather she received flowers that were mostly pink and did not contain the carnations that I sought out. I called from Portland to have some flowers done for my son's wedding July 23rd. Ashley was absolutely amazing in what she created from just me calling her and giving her a few specifics about what the colors were for the wedding. She not only created vibrant beautiful flower arrangements for the rehearsal dinner, but also big beautiful arrangements for wine barrels, the arbor and various other arrangements for gift table, guest book table, food tables etc...and all at somewhat short notice! I ordered a bouquet online the Friday before Mother's Day on From Your Flowers for my mother and grandmother. I set the delivery date to be flexible as I was not too concerned on what date the bouquet got to the house. I understood it was Mother's Day weekend, so I was very aware of how busy they were going to be. I've never had issues on websites before when ordering flowers, as I do it every year for Mother's Day, birthdays, etc. I ordered a big bouquet with beautiful roses and lilies; however, when I received a text with a picture of a COMPLETELY different bouquet from my mother, I was shocked. I was notified through the confirmation email that if the bouquet I ordered wasn't available, another bouquet that was similar would be delivered. No problem, except the bouquet that showed up at the house was made of hydrangeas and tulips... 4 of the hydrangeas were wilted, and the rest died 2 days later and had to be thrown out. Talk about upsetting. I called the shop to see what had happened, and the woman who answered the phone looked into it and told me that the website gave them permission to create whatever they wanted for a certain amount. At the end of the conversation, she basically told me that there's nothing that can be done. I was mostly shocked as this is a highly regarded flower shop and always has been. We found them incompetent in both following through with an order and in customer communication. We ordered a huge flower and fruit basket for Mother s Day and had it delivered. We also paid for a box of chocolates to add to the basket. It arrived with no flowers. It also did not contain the boxed chocolates, but there were two small candy bars instead. I called them and left a message. Instead of getting back to me (they never called me back!) they then delivered a small unimpressive plant and a box of chocolates, and the chocolates were past their expiration date. read more

When I asked for suggestions about where to get a nice wedding bouquet, Rhythm& Blooms was the first name that was given to me. My mother and I went down to the shopn on a Friday afternoon not sure what to expect. I'm new to the area as well. A VERY nice woman named Talease Haller helped me pick out the perfect combination of hand-picked GORGEOUS flowers for my wedding. Since it was going to be a custom-designed bouquet, I was told to come back tomorrow afternoon to pick it up. My mother and I were thrilled, and paid for the bouquet, and went to pick it up at noon the very next day. I was SO impressed by the beautiful job that TALEASE did, and I was extra impressed by her professionalism, how extremely helpful she was, AND how well-composed she was during a VERY busy weekend at the store. I knew that this store was located in Downtown, so I knew it would be busy....but the employees here do not miss a beat. They are cheerful, helpful, creative, and I couldn't have been more pleased.
