    I'll start with the good - the flowers I ordered were delivered in a timely manner despite being in the midst of COVID-19 shutdowns. The bad - the woman I spoke to on the phone gave me some attitude right off the bat. When I simply asked whether it was better to talk to her about my arrangement options or look online, she got sassy and said "or you could just COME INTO THE STORE". I let her know that actually that's not possible because I live out of state and she dialed back the attitude. From there on we had a better interaction, albeit not a super friendly one. I am disappointed with the quality of bouquet received. It looks like a sloppy knockoff of what I ordered, and there are definitely less stems than I paid for ($65 before delivery fee)

    My cousin ended up in the Sacred Heart Center at Riverbend. I live all the way in Los Angeles and felt terrible that I couldn't be there to give him a big hug. I called this flower shop and the woman who picked up was so kind and patient and walked me through the website and all my options. I ended up ordering the Bright Days Ahead bouquet online to be hand delivered to the hospital with a little note for my cousin. He received the bouquet a few hours later and sent me this photo. Thank you to all of you serving this community with precious flowers!!!! The ordering process was seamless and efficient.

    I live in Hawai'i and my mom lives in Eugene. I had been searching for a florist that delivers and that had 4-5 star reviews. Eugene's Flower Home website was easy to navigate. What I liked was their "Good, Better, Best" options along with other add ons like chocolates, candies, a stuffed animal, etc. I chose the arrangement, wrote out the message and added all details for delivery and payment, which was straight forward and smooth. I placed my order at 9:30a PST and my mom received her delivery by 3pm! I was thrilled! Even more impressive was the arrangement, I felt it was better than the online picture. It was beautiful and my mom loved it! Additionally, she said the gentleman who delivered stood a very safe distance, was cordial and soft spoken in his salutation, he wore gloves and had a mask. He took a big step to gently pass on the bouquet to my mom, mindful of social distancing. Thank you Eugene's Flower Home for your expeditiousness and professional work! I highly recommend using them for your floral delivery needs! Reasonably priced and great presentation.

    I called at 4:30 pm (I'm so sorry) just to see if they could work any miracles for me. A coworker is retiring tomorrow and this is the first time I've worked with her and we are just here overnight. I called to see if they could whip up a quick last minute corsage for the new retiree and Michael didn't blink an eye, she took my order and whipped up the most beautiful corsage I have ever seen with extremely prompt delivery to my hotel. Can not say enough good things I was so surprised, thank you so very much!!!!! Miracle workers

    I needed to have some nice flowers sent to a former co-worker of mine for her birthday. I don't like FTD flowers or other large nationwide flower companies because they use local florists in the end anyway, so I may as well choose my own. My friend works in Eugene, so I checked out Eugene Flower Home's website to see what they offered. Right off the bat, the website is designed wonderfully. It was very easy to choose an occasion and find different arrangements for birthdays. They even had one with blues/purples which is the type of arrangement I like to buy. The site has options for good/better/best, with each one a little fuller and a bit more expensive. I am usually leery of choosing the opening value because they tend to be a lot of filler material and not many flowers. However, the picture on the site of the entry level arrangement looked good to me, so I crossed my fingers and got the entry level. If you aren't sure what the enclosed card should say, their website has a variety of quotes and funny sayings to choose from, so you aren't ever on your own in the process. I placed my order approximately a week before the date they needed to be delivered. On the day they were to be delivered, I hadn't heard anything from the recipient when I noticed it was around 2pm. The website specifically says that it cannot guarantee a delivery time, but I anticipated my friend potentially leaving work early and got nervous it wouldn't make it in time. In fact, I didn't recall getting any notification about the order (it may have been e-mailed to me the day I placed it), so I wasn't even sure if it had gone through okay. I called shortly after 2pm and a woman answered the phone who was very polite and helpful. She said the flowers had gone out, but didn't know what the delivery time was. At least I knew that the order had gone through and flowers were on the way. Shortly after 3pm the flowers were delivered and they were beautiful! I got a picture of them from my friend and they looked very much like the original picture on the site -- which doesn't always happen. I was very impressed with the quality of the flower design, although I do not know how long they lasted (I didn't ask my friend about it). Overall, I was very satisfied with Eugene's Flower Home. Some places go nuts and have notifications e-mailed or texted when flowers are out for delivery and that would be a great feature to add in the future. The pricing was reasonable and the flower arrangement itself was fantastic. The website was easy to navigate and had helpful things like quotes for the card in case you aren't sure what you want to say. I got a little nervous when I didn't hear anything about my order and it got late in the business day, but they got delivered as promised and my friend was very pleased. I have a florist that I like to use in Junction City for flowers in this area. I will be using Eugene's Flower Home for my flower deliveries that I need in the Eugene/Springfield area from now on.

    They made a beautiful Christmas centerpiece and delivered it in less than one day's notice. It surpassed my expectations and the recipients were thrilled. I found their prices to be more reasonable than the competition, too. Will definitely order from them again.

    Worst florist around!!! Terrible business practices. I went in with a picture of my bridal bouquet…read more Was told it would cost me 65.00. Come my wedding day when my friend picked up my bouquet the bouquet I got was not like the picture at all. I called in tears. Said they would have manager call me back. No call. They called me night before to see when i would pick it up and to make sure it would be ready. Finally called me sunday, i missed cal and called right back. No answer. Saw tonight they emailed me saying it was my fault because they were doing me a huge favor for the price I wanted to spend. I would have spent as much as needed for my bouquet THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SAID 65.00! Going to make it a point to let everyone know how they are and will be posting the pics and their email on my page. Terrible business!! Here is email they sent me when I COMPLAINED. They didnt even have the decency to get ahold of me on the phone. I ordered a large bouquet of flowers for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day through one of the larger online retailers (to be fulfilled by the local florist). I even paid for the upgrade to the "Deluxe" bouquet for a total of $65. I read the website carefully to make sure I could be reasonably assured that the photo shown was representative of what would be delivered. I lucked out in that the description under the Deluxe upgrade was that the flowers delivered would be "as close as possible" to the photo on the website. I absolutely anticipated some difference in the actual bouquet, particularly since it was going to be a busy weekend, flower-wise. Not quite. SEE THE PHOTO I uploaded to show what my mother-in-law actually received in a split-shot of the photo on the website. In other words, it was a fraction of what I paid for! The filler greenery was dying by the next day, one of the two lilies broke as soon as it opened and even the ribbon was fraying. I emailed Monique on Monday with the photos and a printout of the description of the Deluxe upgrade. She left me a voicemail on Tuesday, which I returned the next day. I didn't hear anything by the next day, so I forwarded my original email again on Wednesday night. Still no response. I forwarded my email so she could see it for a THIRD time on Friday and let her know I would contact the originating website if I didn't hear from her by Monday evening. I received an email from her on Monday morning apologizing for the delay "because the shop was closed for the weekend". I'm not sure that explained the delay between Tuesday afternoon and Monday morning, by at this point, I was happy to receive anything! I attempted to email her back, but her the email bounced back because her website had expired on 5/16/15. Sigh. So I called her and just crossed my fingers that someone would answer. She told me that although I had spent $65 with the originating vendor, only a small amount of that money actually reaches her, so she filled the order based on that. I didn't catch the exact dollar amount, but it was in the neighborhood of $16. I told her that although I sympathize, her financial arrangement with the originating website should have no bearing on me. If she didn't receive a large enough cut to make it worth her while to fill these orders, then she should definitely speak with them - but cheapening my order was not the appropriate way to handle that issue. She then tried to tell me that the bouquet she prepared WAS the same as what I ordered - but it was just that the lily hadn't opened yet. I wondered if she was kidding. I clarified again with her - did she *really* think the two bouquets were the same? She said she wouldn't argue that point any further. I let her know that I ordered the same bouquet from the same website for my mother in Portland - and it was delivered on par with the website photo without issue. It didn't matter; it was obvious I was getting nowhere with her and the fact that I had waited a week for this conversation was not helping matters. When I told her I would speak with From You Flowers directly to request a refund, she told me that was a good idea. Wow! I, too, own my own business, and I can confidently say that I wouldn't have clients if this was how I chose to handle questions and concerns. The next time I order flowers in the Eugene area, I will choose any other available florist besides Affair With Flowers.
