Today was my step dad's memorial and birthday my mom paid 250.00 for a floral arrangement and she got nothing, broke my moms heart

Went to Flower Market 8-11-25 about noon and bought some babies breath for $2.00. I came home and began steps to dry the flowers hanging upside down in a dark closet in my house. 8-12-25 7:00am The flowers were all shriveled up and looked terrible. About 9:15 I returned with flowers and showed them to the employees and explained what I had done and that I had done it before with no problems. I guess it was the manger that told me they only guarantee flowers that are in water. They need to remove the sign in their window. It says "Satisfaction Guaranteed ...on All Products and Services! This florist is amazing!!! My only regret is I wish I lived closer, I'd be there at least once a week. I live out of state and I found The Flower Market on YELP. I ordered a last minute plant arrangement for my niece who is near by. They made the most BEAUTIFUL plant arrangement. It is huge! Larger than I expected. It has 2 types of violets, colorful foliage, sweet little white & green leafy ivy in a big basket. I can't thank them enough - most especially the wonderful woman who took my order. Tried to use this business to send flowers for condolences over a death of my friend's child. The person answering the phone said the connection was not good, although I could hear her perfectly. However, I was able to clearly communicate the reason for the order, and she was still incredibly insensitive when she wasn't able to understand me. Rather than patiently asking me to repeat myself, she simply got exasperated and acted as though I was doing something wrong. It's hard enough to have to deal with a loss, there no reason to be unkind to someone who is trying to send condolences. read more

These most recent arrange that were for a last minute work project. They were swamped, yet they ensure it happened. Timely and gorgeous! People nearly fought over who got to keep them. I tried this place for the first time for Mother's Day. My flowers got lost but at no fault off theirs. It turned out the owner and staff went way out of their way to deliver these and the home my mother was in lost the flowers. The Flower Market again delivered another arrangement at no charge. We figured out what happened but great service. I would definitely recommend them as your go to florist. The delivery driver was great and personally found my mother and hand delivered them to her. I have been using this location for several projects. They are always so helpful. Their local delivery charge is very reasonable and their deals are steller. They will custom hand wrap whatever you'd like as well as complimentary cars for your bouquets. I went in search of carnations for a birthday present for someone very special and dear to me. The lady in the shop was very nice to me and quoted me a price of $9.95 for a dozen carnations, which of course I accepted, but when we went to write up the order, she said she misquoted the price (small vs large blooms) and it would be $18.50 for a dozen stems of the large blooms. Ok, not good but .... fine. When I came back to pick up my order 2 days later, I was given 12 stems of single bloom somewhat wilted and mostly old carnations and was charged $19.95 instead of the quoted $18.50. Not very happy, but my time was limited as I was on my way to work and I needed to make sure I had a gift for my friend. Later that day, as I got off work and tended to some errands on my way home, I happened to stop at Safeway at Pioneer and Q in Springfield, and as I was going towards the produce department, I passed through the floral section of the store, where I saw carnations in ready-made bundles. Maybe less individual stems but certainly at least a dozen large blooms each of healthy vibrant and so much prettier carnations selling for $6.99 each. Was I disappointed? Of course! Was I mad? Absolutely Yes!! How dare a wholesale/retail florist sell subpar "fresh" flowers in bulk form (not a formal arrangement) for more money (almost 3x the price) than a grocery store? Shame on them !!! Next time, I'm going to the grocery store and absolutely 100% skipping the FLORIST Shop! read more

I work for a nonprofit and have purchased flowers from The Flower Market in Springfield, OR for multiple events in the past few months. It was important for us to support and purchase from a local business. While the flowers are always pretty, the manager is not at all pleasant or accommodating! My requests have been to simply provide receipts so that the charges can be accounted for on a corporate credit card. The manager argued and was angry that they have to do this since they are a small mom & pop and don't have time for such things. I DO NOT plan to purchase from them again in the future. read more

This arrangement was to celebrate my parents' 70th wedding anniversary, so it was essential that this would be a high quality presentation. The flowers delivered to my parents were simply stunning....the arrangement was huge.... and far more than I ever expected. This was in December. I requested red roses, white mums, and pink lilies. The floral designer added enough greenery to make the arrangement Christmassy. Included were several buds, so the flowers continued to open and lasted over two weeks. This exceptional flower arrangement has been the perfect advertisement for the Flower Market since my mother has raved about the flowers to anyone who would listen. EXTREMELY dissappointed about the lei I purchased last week for my daughter for her graduation. It was small and came in a zip lock bag. Nothing else. She didn't even want to wear it....sad after spending $30. Last year I purchased one from Dandelion in Eugene. It was beautiful! Came in a box, they put ribbons on it, was LARGE and cost the same as what I paid for the SORRY looking lei from The Flower Market in Springfield. The floral designers at The Flower Market on Main are incredible! Three days before a Washington graduation we found that the only florist shop in Richmond, Washington able to get a graduation lei by Friday is the shop who will not sell flowers to a same sex couple for their wedding! We began calling locally and there was nothing. Decided to put my old crafting skills to the test and watched a u-tube on how to make a lei. Went to The Flower Market and bought flowers. The owner asked if I knew how to thread the flowers, of course, I had after all watched u-tube! She gently took my hand and led me to her work area, taught me how to thread the flowers and then lent me the needle and thread needed to accomplish the job! REMEMBER, today is one day before the Mother's Day crush and she is taking the time to help me! Since I am somewhat blind she even threaded the needle!
