10/20/25 8:52am While driving eastbound down 52nd street after turning off of Eastern Ave, one of RHD Tire employees pulled out INTO oncoming traffic from the Family Dollar located on the north side of 52nd. This reckless driving driver failed to look toward his right to even notice me in transition already and pulled 4 lanes over into my lane, nearly t-boning my vehicle. To AVOID an accident and this driver from colliding into my 9 year old daughter and myself, I swerved to the right, ran into the curb at 35MPH busting my passenger side tires. When I called to complain to his supervisor, she stated how it didn't look like he was at fault and it appeared as if I lost control of my vehicle. I had FULL CONTROL of my vehicle which is why there isn't a collision reported, because I avoided it from happening. The only thing I was looking for was an apology and an explanation as to why he had a lack of attention and respect for oncoming traffic. He could have waited for me to pass especially since there was no vehicle behind me, or simply merged into the middle lane until I passed instead of disregarding traffic coming from his right. I literally saw his attention focus on the traffic coming westbound but he had no concern for the oncoming traffic traveling eastbound. Police report has been filed as will a lawsuit for replacing my tires, the inconvenience due to me NOT having possession of my vehicle now and the mental strain/stress/anxiety placed on me and my daughter on her way to school and throughout the day. Huge shout out to RHD Tire! It is probably their busiest time of year and I was on the docket for 2 cars that day so I had a good opportunity to observe. With a full waiting room of customers, the staff, and George in particular who was fielding the calls with amazing patience -- on top of attending to customers, and managing the garage, handled everything with incredible grace and professionalism. Actually, the entire staff brought their A game. In our hectic lives, it is so appreciated to have such excellent customer service and quality service. My dad recommended this place, and it's probably the best deal in the area. I had two new tires already purchased when I called to make an appointment. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. They got my two tires on in less than 20 minutes for just $30 total. Belle Tire charges twice that and is too busy to schedule anyone an appointment for over a week out, despite advertising walk in availability. Highly recommend RHD instead. read more

The guys at RHD are the best! I brought my Jeep in to have my tires rotated and balanced after purchasing about a few years ago from them. With this, the balance and rotation is completely FREE! On top of this, they also just took a quick peek at some other things for me. All within such a short time too. I want to say I was in and out within 30 minutes! I purchased my snow tires through RHD. So every time I return to RHD to swap tires, all I pay is $40 for the service to swap and for them to store the tires until I return to swap them back (you'll pay $40 this time too). It's so convenient and it saves you the hassle of trying to find storage space and transporting the tires to a shop to get them changed. Called on a Thursday to schedule for 4 new tires, in for an appt on Monday morning (they did have next day appts available as well). Quoted price is exactly what we paid. I got a flat in my Subaru but because of the symmetrical AWD, the dealership recommended replacing all four of my tires even though the tires were still quite new. Around 9-8/32" when the tires started at 9/32". Subaru of America suggested a shaved tire, and I called 2 Subaru dealerships and half a dozen tire shops to find that very few shops offer shaved tires. Finally I came across RHD and they offered to order me a shaved tire and install 1 day later for 3x cheaper than my quote from the dealership. Installation only took 30 minutes, very friendly staff. I had a nail in my tire that needed quick attention. I called Rhd Tire and was able to make an appointment for the next day. Their staff was very friendly on the phone and in person. Because the nail was on the edge of the tire, it was unrepairable. I had to buy two new tires, and the staff walked me through my options. I checked everywhere for pricing on tires for my Honda Element. RHD not only gave me the best price, but when I asked around, it was almost crazy how everyone said "Go to Kevin at RHD". So that's what I did. Got a great deal on tires, got great service, was in and out, and...a month after I got the new wheels, I ran over a nail and they replaced the tire, with a smile, free of charge. Not in a nice part of town if that bothers you O well. However service was fantastic installers were fast. I mean. Within 35 minutes fast and people were ahead of us. no garage smell just smell of some so much needed coffee, and just to let you know was there because a certain son of mine ran over a curb and blew the tire out prices are very reasonable and a little flexible will be going back hopefully not for a while but the way my son drives sooner than I hope lol read more

We were in Grand Rapids last week and our tire kept going low so we stopped in RDH to see if they could take a look at it. They immediately took it to the service department and within 15 minutes came out and told us that it had a small screw in it. They plugged the hole and did not charge for it--told us it was free. My husband ran over a screw on one of our tires previously purchased from RHD. I called ahead and Kevin told me to come in anytime, which was obviously very convenient. Within 15 minutes, they had the tire patched, swapped with the spare, and my tires rotated free of charge.
