10/20/25 8:52am…read more While driving eastbound down 52nd street after turning off of Eastern Ave, one of RHD Tire employees pulled out INTO oncoming traffic from the Family Dollar located on the north side of 52nd. This reckless driving driver failed to look toward his right to even notice me in transition already and pulled 4 lanes over into my lane, nearly t-boning my vehicle. To AVOID an accident and this driver from colliding into my 9 year old daughter and myself, I swerved to the right, ran into the curb at 35MPH busting my passenger side tires. When I called to complain to his supervisor, she stated how it didn't look like he was at fault and it appeared as if I lost control of my vehicle. I had FULL CONTROL of my vehicle which is why there isn't a collision reported, because I avoided it from happening. The only thing I was looking for was an apology and an explanation as to why he had a lack of attention and respect for oncoming traffic. He could have waited for me to pass especially since there was no vehicle behind me, or simply merged into the middle lane until I passed instead of disregarding traffic coming from his right. I literally saw his attention focus on the traffic coming westbound but he had no concern for the oncoming traffic traveling eastbound. Police report has been filed as will a lawsuit for replacing my tires, the inconvenience due to me NOT having possession of my vehicle now and the mental strain/stress/anxiety placed on me and my daughter on her way to school and throughout the day. Overall, the customer service here was not bad however, their quality of service has dropped while prices go up! Fall of 2023 while switching to snow tires, they informed me I would need 20! lug-nuts replaced (keep in mind, Amy and Chuck's is the only place I had been in 2 years working on my tires). I politely declined. Today, I went in to get my snow tires off and my old tires put back on. The price went up $20! I politely asked if they could put new bags on the tires when they put them back in my car because I store them myself. Once again, I was told I need 20 lug-nuts replaced, and declined. Upon leaving, I noticed the tires appeared to be just tossed in the back of my Jeep with the same ripped up bags. I also noticed there was black scuff marks on the inside roof of my car from the tires. So I spent 30 mins when I got home scrubbing this off. I heard good things and that's why I returned for 2 years to Amy and Chuck's but after today, I unfortunately will being taking my business elsewhere if they are going to continue to raise prices and quality of service is going down/careless.

After the 4 wheel alignment in a satisfactory amount of time, it was obvious that the rear wheels were & still are out of camber (vertical axis of tire) when I called to discuss the issue the person indicated that the tires were within specification according printout which was true and that some "Sports cars" (BTW it's a VW Passat) were supposed to have the rear tires out of alignment in spite of the fact that the tires are showing wear on the inside tread. Having worked as a mechanic and verifying via VW sites that this is simply not true I realized I was being fed a line of hogwash. Stay with the professionals folks for wheel alignments...do not let Belle Tire perform a 4 wheel alignment on your vehicle. You can't trust the results! To be fair, my previous experiences with Belle Tire in GR & Big Rapids have been very professional and customer oriented.
