After a two-year hiatus, I'm happy to report that today's visit to RH was wonderful. I was able to get a same-day booking. They've vastly expanded the menu since two years ago, and the food and service were top-notch. I don't know if there's new management or not, but I had a much better visit. My only critique is that even though they now sell beer (in addition to their usual wines), RH still doesn't offer spirits and cocktails. But the server said that spirits were expected to be offered this summer.

Overall, this is a great restaurant for celebrating! The grilled shrimp is a must! Very delicious along with the bread that comes with the prosciutto board. My disappointment was the chicken. I been to RH rooftop in Chicago and the chicken there was better. The skin was crispier and presentation was more elegant as well. The taste of the chicken was good; very juicy. Our waiter was great, and very professional. I will say if you're going to pay over $450 for dinner for 4 people, then I would go to the RH in Chicago rather than this location or visit Violi which is only few places down. I think $18 for mimosa is way overpriced.

Came here for my birthday. It was easy to make a reservation online and they sat us right away. The ambiance is cool with the high ceilings and trees inside. Crispy artichokes - very crispy and nice tart artichoke flavor Lobster roll - buttery and lots of lobster. Not fishy. Shave ribeye dip - I asked for a little pink but the inside was inedible for me. It seemed rare. The edges were yummy with the bread and dip.

After visiting both the Chicago and Oakbrook locations, It's a classy, chic spot with a luxurious ambiance that carries through both the restaurant and the connected store. For brunch, we had the salmon, which was absolutely divine, paired with crispy fries and a delicious mimosa. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. I'd definitely come back for a girls' brunch--the whole experience felt like a treat with a splurge from the menu.

RH Rooftop Restaurant located in Oak Brook, IL. BRUNCH TIME! BRUNCH TIME! where gorgeous and classy meets! Definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants in the area. The glass ceiling, chandeliers, and greenery make the whole place feel calm and upscale. It's the kind of spot that's perfect for a slow brunch or a special outing. I ordered the RH Scramble,a Rose Spritz with the two piece lobster and caviar, and the Lobster Roll sandwich to go. The caviar with the lobster roll was so complimentary to one another. It was really refreshing for my first time! Everything was fresh soft and yummy! RH Rooftop Presented so beautifully, and not to mention the service was nothing short from amazing! Marlin was my waiter. He was so polite and attentive. He made so many accommodations for my first time and I just enjoyed his company. RH definitely have the right guy on their TEAM! Overall, I'd definitely be back! To show my kiddo a gorgeous place! The ambiance was amazing. It was a stunning place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, with the food fully match the luxury vibes!

First off, place is GORGEOUS! The food was amazing and staff were super friendly. We did have to wait 45 mins to add a chair to our table which I thought was a long time. Other than that we all enjoyed our food and service. Would recommend for a cute brunch or dinner with friends/spouses. There were children of all ages so that's a plus for people with kids.

Went to dinner with some friends and had an amazing time! It's a furniture store in the lower level and restaurant on top, which is pretty cool because the views are nice at night. The staff is super attentive and wait time was reasonable. Food came out at a good pace as well. Everything tasted fresh and amazing, of course. One thing I didn't necessarily like is they don't have cocktails, it's mostly wine and spritz drinks. The drinks were very good though and I'm not a huge fan of spritz but the rosé was great. Something that made this night one I'll never forget is while going to the bathroom people did not lock their doors! I walked in on a woman mid wipe and then a couple having intercourse. Super surprised the staff aren't more attentive to this since the bathrooms are individual and private. It is what it is, but was not expecting that at a high end restaurant. I'd come back but definitely in the earlier afternoon.

My husband and I came here for dinner. It was packed and the only reservation they had was at 8:15pm. Our table was ready right at our time. We had a cozy table by the fountain but did get a little splashed on the side. The menu does not list any GF item so I had to ask. I'm also a vegetarian so I mostly just get sides. The server indicated all sides are GF. I opted for the potato puree, charred broccolini and truffle fries. I also ordered the rose spritz. It was a bit strong but it was good. All the food was delicious. The sever asked us about dessert, he didn't seem to know which dessert was GF or not. I had to ask some questions and I chose the brûlée. It's typically GF. My husband also liked his food.

Overall (A-) The low ratings and negative reviews don't make sense to me. Went there for lunch on a Monday and it was packed. The 3.4 rating should be more like a 4.4 rating. I am giving it a four not a five rating because it is super expensive. But you are paying for the rooftop. Value (C) It's expensive. I think we dropped around $190 for 3 people to have 1 appetizer and lunch. It's not like you're getting leftover or large portion sizes. You might be full if you are a skinny female but if you are a larger person or a male - you are not getting full. All of our plates were empty including the last fry. So it's expensive for the portion sizes. You can check out the menu but plan for drop a minimum of $50 a person Service (A+) The entire staff is extremely well trained and the food and pacing of the food is perfect. No mistakes from the staff. They were even kind enough to take our coats and check them when it got busy. The place was packed but they got our food out relatively fast. We're also patient with us as we had a business meeting and took forever to order Food (A+) Got the shaved rib eye French dip sandwich and it was really good - I would recommend it. Also got the truffle fries - which were excellent also. The appetizer of some bread thing was really good. The food is excellent and you can not go wrong with what you order. Try this place out - the rooftop dining is amazing. Great ambiance. But just be prepared to pay a lot of money for the meal. You will enjoy and have a great experience.

Ambiance - super modern, clean, love the indoor/outdoor rooftop vibes Service - our server was attentive and food came out fairly quickly Food - super generous with lobster pieces on the lobster roll, shrimp was grilled to perfection, ribeye was slightly overcooked even when we ordered medium

The ambiance was just delightful considering it was in a furniture store. The waterfall was a little loud but overall nice temp in here. The water glasses were a nice weight good hand feel. We ordered the cheese plate with warm baguette and it was delicious. One of my favorite cheeses, but they needed to add a little more bread as the cheese outnumbered the bread the Chinese chicken salad was so fresh and crispy. Chicken was nicely seasoned and juicy. The chicken club had thick bacon and a generous amount of avocado. Would come back!

What a magical place to dine! I have been coming to this area for years for work and generally stay within walking distance of RH Rooftop but had never been here until this past week. I loved the light, plants and chandeliers along with the table set ups to make the entire dining experience absolutely lovely. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. We ordered the lobster roll and chicken sando, with some truffle fries to share - the food was really great. Prices were solid against the whole vibe of the restaurant. I would totally come back here next time I am in town.

First time visiting, the rooftop appeal helped guide the decision to eat here. Did not know this was a restaurant inside a furniture store. To my luck, the day I visited the elevator wasn't working and I had to climb three flights of stairs in heels LOL not fun. Super cute place overall and the decor is great. I should've looked at the menu ahead of time to realize they do not serve tequila based drinks, so a Bellini it was. The food and service over all was amazing, our waiter was very attentive and genuinely just a nice person. I likely wouldn't return based on the drink options alone, just a personal preference. Would still highly recommend it for the food and ambience alone.

    Is it kid friendly?

Yes kids are welcome. However if you got a picky eater may not suit them best. The menu is simple but not really for kids.

Do you accommodate parties of 8?

I don't believe so. I think their max capacity for dining is six people.

Can't seem to find any socials or proper website. Do you call for a reservation?

Call Restoration Hardware and ask for the restaurant. Definitely make reservations.

For drinks, we started with the Tangerine Dream, which reminded me of an orange creamsicle, and the Morning Meditation, which definitely had more earthy flavors. Both drinks were really pretty in color and nicely presented. For food, we ordered the Million Dollar Bacon--it's a very specific flavor, but not bad at all. The brown sugar sweetness with a bit of spice worked well together. The Elevated Egg Sandwich was really good; the buns were soft, the avocado was well-seasoned, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were seasoned nicely, and the onions added extra flavor. The Smoked Salmon Frittata was okay--not my favorite. The potatoes were great, but the salmon didn't really pair well with the eggs in my opinion. We also got the chocolate chip pancakes to go, and those were delicious later on--super big and very satisfying. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot with great drinks and some standout dishes.

We went last Saturday morning and it was standing room only with a line to the coffee bar, then we loved it enough to come back for breakfast the next day. That should tell you most of what you need to know. The lemon burst cookie is the reason to walk in the door and a reason to come back. Delectable, plenty of lemon, plenty of tart, and it goes down dangerously fast. We ordered it twice across two visits and would have gone for a third. The lavender honey latte was very good, just the right amount of lavender, not too sweet. The regular coffee was solid, and they let me do a half-and-half decaf without blinking. Sunday breakfast was straightforward, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, a Virgin Bloody Mary, and all of it was well executed. The menu is ample enough that you could come back several times and not repeat yourself. The decor is modern chic, the seating has a relaxed couch-and-lounge feel, and the music including Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, Van Halen, etc, was the kind of 80s pop-rock playlist that makes a Saturday morning feel like it has a soundtrack. Not too loud, just right. The restrooms were really nice and accessible. The crowd was a genuine mix, families with kids, older couples, and young "elite", the kind of clientele that parks Maseratis and Ferraris out front but doesn't need the prices to match, because they don't. The menu is moderate for Oak Brook, which is a pleasant surprise. Wait staff were excellent, friendly, accommodating, attentive. This works for a casual coffee run, a family breakfast, or a special occasion with reservations. If Beatrix were a TV character, it would be Lorelai Gilmore, fast, charming, effortlessly good at three things at once, we get it Lorelai, you're over caffeinated. 4.4 Stars The honest gripe: we felt a little rushed. Breakfast came and went in forty minutes, the waitress was ready to move us on in 30 minutes, but we pumped the brakes and asked for our second lemon burst cookie of the weekend, and it would've been nice to get the signal that we could linger. My sense is they're popular enough that turning tables is the priority, and I get it, Lorelai has a business to run, but it's the one thing that kept a great morning from being a perfect one. What would push it to five stars: let us sit with our coffee a little longer. We came back two days in a row, we clearly want to be here. Just let us stay.

The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. The ambiance is inviting. The pastries and mini to small cake options were quite beautiful. The nose level was very quiet until little ones came in. Still tolerable but if you are studying and it's busy don't forget your headphones. Lol. I studied for about 3 hours and I would definitely return again.
