This store has almost completely contemporary stuff now, but it is always great looking stuff. I wish hey had more rustic/vintage style items, but contemporary is what's in right now. The staff was very friendly, weren't pushy, and they leave you alone for the most part unless you have a question. I'll be moving back to the Denver area in about five months and this is definitely where I'll be buying some of my furniture. Stop in and check it out, especially if you like contemporary style furniture. read more

A lush upscale furniture store designed to provide the customer a museum-like experience. Unfortunately, it fails to provide more than that. The air is stifled with arrogance as you enter and it's a big deterrent for anybody ready to lay down the big bucks. The pretentious staff are more likely to greet their fancy IPADs and $9 lattes then their customers. But if you really need that overpriced wardrobe resembling a giant's tomb bigger than your bathroom, head south to the Restoration Hardware at the Castle Rock outlet for a bargain and better service instead. read more

I love Restoration Hardware! However, I absolutely HATE the way they run their business. Everything has to be ordered and the consumer pays a large $150 flat rate shipping fee (for most items). I had my eye on a sputnik light fixture, which was overpriced already and totally unreasonable once I added on tax and $150 for "white glove" shipping. No thanks! I ended up waiting and finding the same light at the Restoration Hardware outlet in Castle Rock. If you are in a similar situation, you can call the outlet store and have them email you the truck manifest each week. Then, you will see exactly what is coming on the shipment truck! I bought my dining room chairs that way as well and ended up paying about $45 a piece for them instead of a couple hundred each (plus shipping) if I had ordered them online. I did break down and pay the exorbitant shipping fee on a couple bar stools that I recently ordered (on sale). It's incredibly inconvenient because you have to be home within a two hour window in order to receive the shipment. When the guys carried in my barstools, both of them were broken!! What the heck?!? For over $200 per stool plus a "white glove" delivery fee, I expected those stools to be checked BEFORE they get to my house. The delivery guys even said to me "you can probably get an Allen wrench and fix that one" - whatever! I am now in a waiting pattern trying to get another delivery window set-up for when they can come back with (hopefully) two non-broken barstools! read more

I'm going to disagree with everyone else who has so far reviewed this new store. I found it fun to wander through and see design ideas and inspiration. It was sort of a catalogue come to life. The space is what is to be expected and on brand. Yes, prices are high, but that's the RH we already knew. We were greeted by a lovely sales woman and asked if we needed help throughout. The only floor I didn't love was the top outdoor furniture one. I imagine it's for event rental because it didn't have much diversity in products. read more

First off, I absolutely love this store and the sales staff. Getting the product into and assembled in your home with their "white glove service".... Not so much. We just bought a new home in town here and have been buying from all the higher end stores. Crate & Barrel - Fantastic in Every Way. Arhaus was also amazing. Great product and sales staff mean nothing when the delivery service is incompetent as the company they use. First item was heavily damaged and another needed to be ordered. When this one came in they refused to bring the vanity to the upstairs bathroom. Worse yet, they refused to assemble it when it explicitly stated on the manifest that our item came with White Glove Delivery - Setup in any room desired. Very frustrating from a store with such great products. Won't be buying from them again until they change delivery services. read more

I love interior design, I probably was a interior decorator in my past life heheheh. This furniture screams Masculine and Industrial Chic to the highest level ever!!!!! The furniture is beautifully well made to touch and eye. The lighting fixtures are decadent. The showroom designs bring old world vintage to masculine tone. Every single item is a party piece, guests would talk a storm, ranting and raving for years to come. We are in the process of building our house. RH had amazing products to choose from and honestly for home vanities/ mirrors the price at were great compared to custom building our own and they look better. Really like the selection. Furniture is expensive though but you get something that you can't get anywhere else. read more

I visited the new Restoration Hardware to look at cabinet hardware, knobs and pulls. RH has recently moved into its new space at Cherry Creek Mall. A caveat, I'm not much of a RH shopper as its furniture is too large for my home and my 5'2" frame. However the store does have some decorative items and other home items I can use. The new store layout leads one to wander about, however it is very difficult to locate a specific type of merchandise. The store directory, such as it is, is too general to be useful. It was also virtually impossible to determine who is an employee, no name tags, nothing to distinguish them from other shoppers. I did finally find an employee and asked her where the cabinet hardware was located. She replied that they didn't get any for the new store and didn't know if they would. So, for me fewer reasons to shop at RH. read more

Hated RH. Drove down to get one hand towel that I ruined. I found it in the store and they would not sell it to me. I was told they would order it for me. I could have done that online. They told me they were a gallery and not a retail store. Always loved Restoration Hardware but now I have a really bad taste for them now. read more

I love restoration hardware stuff. Their hardware is classic with tasteful finishes. Bathroom accessories/hardware high quality without the premium you would pay at Design Center Store. We bought some outdoor furniture six years ago and it is timeless and has weathered about as well as Jane Turner. I have definitely spent more than my share here..in fact with a recent remodel (two bathrooms custom cabinetry, etc) wrote a big check to RH. But..when I came back to the store to return a few items that remained unused from my remodel, you would have thought I had just rolled in poo. The process was arduous, the reception off-putting. I will continue to buy their stuff but will be a little mindful of the returns process. read more

We visited RH on Saturday May 27, 2017. As we entered the store a sales associate looked us up and down and decided that she would not greet us. She instead began beating couch cushions, a trend that continued throughout the store. We continued to roam through the store because we were looking for a new couch. At the rear of the store another associate was also beating couch cushions. We went to the other side of the store and same thing, an associate beating couch cushions. An observation that if you need to constantly beat the cushions, perhaps they are not able to hold their shape over time. We went back to the front of store and the non-greeter was still hard at work beating cushions. The store is over rated, the associates are unwelcoming, and the store echoes with the sound of sales associates beating cushions. We decided to cross the street and visit West Elm where we were immediately greeted by a sales associate, who did not need to beat the cushions! read more

I have quite a bit of Restoration Hardware items in my house, faucets, pulls, towel bars & hooks. I have never purchased furniture. I was going to purchase a coffee table ottoman that is about 48" W x 28" D x 17" H (it would have fit in my husbands truck or the back of my sedan). The shipping was a flat rate of $199. I inquired about the shipping charge (most other competitive companies are charging between $30-$75 dollars) and the store clerk said they charge a flat rate no matter what the item/s are. I can understand feeling like you are getting a deal if you are purchasing a whole new living room or dining room set but ONE ottoman, $199 seems excessive. When I wrote to customer service, the response I got was pretty much the same, "Please know that shipping and handling fees cover all costs related to the processing of your order, the handling and packaging of the merchandise, and the carrier fees. We make every effort to keep our customers informed about the cost of our shipping by making our rates available online and in our catalogs, and we only charge what is necessary to support our business. We are, therefore, unable to reduce or eliminate our shipping and handling fees." This response is a complete crock of you know what. I checked with some other carrier companies and UPS and their cost is a fraction of that $199. I haven't purchased anything from Restoration Hardware for a couple of years, I now won't be purchasing anything based on their lack of customer service. Maybe the company isn't doing so well, that is why they have to make a margin on shipping. Buyer beware! read more

I was looking for the address for the Denver RH online and stumbled across the ratings here. I was stunned by the poor customer service reviews and figured most were pretty dated so RH must have their act together by now.... that could not be further from the truth. I went in to the store to see actual items I was planning to order from the catalog to get a feeling for quality and size. My experience was unlike anything I've experienced before in this type of store. The employees and the customer service received were horrible. I was greeted as I entered by two young women. I inquired if the items I was looking for were in the gallery and unsure, they called a third woman over. The third woman sensing my disappointment that they did not have what I was looking for took a tone that was a mix of condescending and flat out rude. A male employee wandered by and the third woman asked if they had samples of a certain metal I wanted to see for a piece of furniture. He sent two of them on a hunt to find it while I wandered to another floor to see other items I was looking for. The employee on the other floor actually greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. The only employee in the store that I encountered who was pleasant. She was seated at a desk in the center of the floor and seemed to be available if I needed anything but never got up after the greeting and me telling her what I was looking at. After I browsed a bit, the first 2 ladies found me only to tell me they did not, in fact, have a sample. It was time for me to leave and I mentioned I might be back in a week or so to order the items I was interested in (really had no intention of coming back but was done and wanted a quick "out"). The parting comment from one of the women was that I needed to be sure to make an appointment before I came back so they would be able to help me. I found this so interesting as I interacted with FIVE employees that afternoon that seems to have nothing but time to NOT provide friendly customer service so by all means I will NOT be making an appointment or going back to this location. read more

I was only able to shop here because of a gift exchange but oh, if I could do it all the time my house would be full of extravagant couches, plush leather chairs, industrial lamps and random gadgets. NIGHTMARE!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE! This was the most miserable, frustrating, time suck of a shopping experience of my life! We ordered an entire house full of furniture for a new mountain home from RH. I made special, 2-hour trips TWICE to await furniture deliveries and TWICE they were NO SHOWS! The first time was bad enough. I waited ALL DAY for NOTHING! I was told mid-day their truck broke down, but was assured they had loaded the furniture onto another truck which was on it's way... A LIE as no furniture ever showed up that day... The SAME THING happened a SECOND TIME when several weeks later another delivery truck FAILED to show up!!! Truly unbelievable. IT GETS WORSE! When our dining chairs finally did arrive they were covered in the WRONG FABRIC! I wanted them in Performance Velvet/Fog, but the salesperson had ordered them in PERENNIALS Performance Velvet/Fog... A subtle difference in names, but a huge difference in ACTUAL FABRIC! Yet another hassle to replace and when the chairs eventually showed up again, months later, one was BROKEN... as was a coffee table... and our master bedroom nightstands arrived in two different colors... From start to finish, getting the correctly upholstered, intact furniture, in the right colors we ordered was a 10 month long ordeal. Let me reiterate-- NIGHTMARE-- shopping experience! A beautiful new store with 4 huge floors and you can't buy anything. NOTHING in stock...no towels, no lamps, nothing that you can take to a housewarming or a hostess gift. A robot would give better customer service experience than the employees here. I went into RH with my 3 kiddos and dressed in gym clothes. I did not look "the part" to be in this store. I was not greeted by any sales representatives. After seeking out a sales rep to discuss a certian curtain I wanted to purchase she pointed to the curtain section and said "have a look for yourself". I went and looked and then had to seek out yet another sales rep for help. I was so turned off I left and an not purchasing curtains from RH. As with any sales job, greeting anyone who enters the store is really important along with selling the product. I will not be returning to the store. read more

I've never quite understood why one would use Yelp to rate a chain, but it now must be done. I cut my teeth working retail myself, so I'm fairly forgiving of undertrained service at a reasonably priced store. However, when your pricepoint is this high, your staff should know your product and be able to help. A great example of this is the awesome staff at Room & Board. RH is generally even more expensive, so I'm just blown away when staff doesn't know the inventory or color selection, pushes really hard on custom options that are THE SAME but twice the price as stock options, fails to return phone calls on orders they have put in incorrectly, etc. I like some of their stuff enough that I can't promise I won't be back, but I'm trying hard not to even crack the cover on that pretty catalog ever again. read more

I bought a couch from RH in cherry creek and was told that it would take over two months to have it delivered unless I was sure to order it NON-custom (which means I had to order it in a certain material, color, etc). In order that I not have to wait two months to sit down in my living room, I asked that it be ordered in everything NON-custom. I compromised on the color and material specifically so that I was not waiting so long for the couch to arrive. Not only did they charge my credit card thousands of dollars for the couch right when I ordered it, but they told me that it wouldn't be delivered to me for ten weeks! I feel like if I need to wait ten weeks for a couch to be delivered, then they should have to wait ten weeks to get paid for it. I resent that they told me I would get my couch sooner if I compromised on the color and material and yet I have had to wait just as long. How does a popular store like this not have some stock available for immediate delivery??! I will not order furniture from them again unless I want to wait an entire season to get it. read more

Poor quality items, multiple orders delivered broken, wrong color, wrong style. 4 months of one mistake after another until finally we got our table and chairs. This company keeps deteriorating in their business manners. They do a decent job selling you the merchandise but hire cheap delivery service to get the merchandise to your place. I had the worst experience with their delivery service with the date changing several times without notice. Finally on the delivery day, they call at 7 pm that they can't acknowledge their delivery time! I would not recommend them if you have a busy schedule or at least a full time job. While the new store is beautiful, it seems stuffy, and dare I say very bourgeois. The staff seemed indifferent, and everything is WAY overpriced. The outdoor rooftop is beautiful and has great views. Personally, the old RH was fine the way it was. No need for such an over the top renovation. No need to go back - unless I hit the lottery and am furnishing a mansion. read more

Very disappointed with the new shopping experience at Restoration Hardware. I drove all the way to Cherry Creek to fight the traffic, parking, etc because I wanted to see some items in person and take home that I had wanted to buy from their website. Save yourself the trip and frustration! "The Gallery" is beautiful and great to walk around. However, they have NOTHING available for you to purchase and take home!!! I was able to find a sales person to help me out with my questions. Which seems to have been an issue for other people leaving reviews. When I went to purchase my items, the salesperson whipped out her iPad, went to the RH website and placed my order...to include a nice fat SHIPPING CHARGE! In my experience, if a store did not have your item on hand, they have always waived the shipping charge for the inconvenience! This new concept seems to be very unfriendly to their customers! I could have saved myself the time and hassle ordering from the comforts of my own home! Not worth the trip! read more
