Rey was not only the most reasonable price I found, but the only shop that seemed to have a clear connection, was easy and friendly to speak to, and provided an actual estimate rather than a guestimate. Arriving for my apt I was further impresses with his willingness to work with me on cost and an upgrade to a higher quality film. He was as friendly in person as he was over the phone and I was pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable waiting area and amenities such as Netflix and Hulu that my kid enjoyed which made passing the time easier than I was anticipating. I just joined Yelp in order to review this business...and trust me, I've had numerous bad and good experiences in many different types of businesses whether it was a restaurant or some other type of service I received, but I was never compelled to take the time to write a review UNTIL NOW.... Although I'm so upset I feel like I could write a 5 page essay like some of the reviewers out there, Ill keep to the basic points. I went to Rey's to have my one month old 2014 Honda Accord Sport tinted after reading the numerous reviews on Yelp. And basically I got my car back with SEVERAL SCRATCHES all over my rear dashboard. Of course everything is being denied on their part. And even though I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that the damages were caused by Rey's during the process of tinting my windows...there is no way I can prove this. So all I can do is write a review in hopes some type of justification will come out of this. Also, when I picked up my car, there was a pool of water in my trunk. I wasnt too upset about this because I have a trunk tray which I could easily clean out the water but the point is THE LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL that this business has in their work. Rey himself seemed like a good guy. He didnt try and over-sale and seemed genuine and this is perhaps why he gets so many good reviews on Yelp, but if you took the time to read this review I would advise you to take your business elsewhere. read more

I came here because the review were so good on Yelp. My brand new hyundai needed some tint. The first time I brought my car in I was told it would take 2-3 hours. They were right. I picked up my car. Once I got home I noticed there were scratches and lint inside the tint making it bubble. I called immediately. The owner told me to bring my car in the next day but I couldn't. Once I was able to bring my car in (4 days later)I showed them the scratches and the lint. They told me it would be ready in a couple hours. I dropped my car off at 11:30 and went back at 4 they were still not done. Then they tell me the tint bubbled up on one window so they had to redo it and asked if I minded waited. I really had no option. While we were waiting the owner came out and told me there were snack and drinks in the fridge and I can have anything I wish. That was very kind. They finally finished around 5:40. When I left this time my car doors had the chemicals they used all down the sides. I have used everything I know to get it off and it won't come off. My brand new car now has streaks of chemicals due to there lack of care when to comes to other people's property. There are still tiny bubbles in my tint. I've had my tint on for about 3 weeks now. Rey's Window tinting is the best around. I just today got my '04 Subaru Forester XT tinted, and everything turned out great. I'm pretty wishy washy when it comes to making decisions on my car, and I was wishy washy with my choice of tint. After I left my car there and picked out the tint, I had a change of heart. I decided that the 5% that I had chosen for the back would be too dark, and that I instead wanted 20%. This is where Rey really won my business, he already had the tint cut and in the process of being put on, but he went above and beyond to make me satisfied, and put on the 20% instead, even though it would be a loss of money to him. I have known Rey for quite sometime. He work rivals others. He doesn't just do window tint. What makes him unique is his knowledge of cars in general. His skilled in fabrication and understands how things work. His knowledge and skills with cars and mechanical work have allowed him to apply his hard work into window tinting. He has tinted my cars in the past and he recently tinted my 2013 Fusion using pure metallic film. It does the job in cutting down the heat and quite honestly made my car look a lot better. He's always professional and will do what it takes without complaining about it. He won't tell you what you want to hear. His honest and through. This place is outstanding. My husband had his car windows tinted here and suggested I get my front car windows tinted also because it was such an easy thing to do. I never wanted to bother because I figured it would be a hassle. But Angelina was thorough in her assessment of what darkness level of tinting my front two windows of my Prius should have, compared to the back. She was friendly and sweet. First time I met Rey and used his serves was few years back and was for a 2008 Honda that had those headlights that totally clouded over, yeah you know what I am talking about ! Rey and his crew did an amazing job and the headlights looked like new! So I need to highly recommend him for headlight restoration before moving onto window tinting. So I traded in that Honda 8-1 for a new Mustang. Of course knowing that Rey did such good work and his has done multiple cars for friends that I know I went to Rey for the job. Once again he, his fabulous daughter! and crew surpassed my expectations. Rey took so much time with me and explained all the different types of tints (the risks of going too dark!) the different qualities and how they helped keep the car cool. And honestly I waited a good two weeks before writing this review to see if the heat thing is true... and it is! My car isn't near as hot now and I do not even have a windshield shade yet! The extra price for the better quality was definitely worth it. And what can I say about the lobby that hasn't been said in pervious reviews.... was cooler, more comfortable and had more food and drink in the fridge than my house! Took my car in after reading good things but was sadly disapointed. So much for his "It's about quality not quantity." When I picked up my car it was dark. the next day to my surprise bubbles everywere. When I called he said wait a few days and all will go away. Not !!! So I called back and he said to stop by and I could wait for it this time. Blaimed it on cold weather and that this time he would turn on the heat. when I bring it back. I told him you said to bring by and I could wait for it. He said no I would have to bring it back as someone was cutting wood and it was not a good time. Bullshit. No one was cutting wood. Also the tint was not set to the top of the window. It was 1/4" below the top edge on two windows and bad cuts. read more

I bought a 2015 BMW in September. After looking online and reading about the various window tinting shops in my area, I decided to go with Rey's. I brought my new car to Rey and asked him about different types of films that I had researched. I told him I wanted to go with the ceramic and asked for a recommendation on how dark to tint my windows taking in consideration not wanting to be stopped by the police. Rey gave his recommendation and I made an appointment to bring it to him Sunday. Rey and his guy worked on my vehicle and had 5 windows tinted in 2 hrs! I was impressed with the quality of the work. The only problem I had was that they left spots of soap on my car door, but it was easy to wipe it away with a wet paper towel. I waited this long to write a review because I wanted to wait to see how the film would stand up to the test of time and being wiped at the car wash. The windows still look great on my car with no crack or peeling! I would definitely bring my next new car to Rey. He takes car of it like it was his own car! I would definitely recommend my friends and family to bring their cars to him. read more
