She is an absolute delight, with a great personality. I hope management realizes what an asset she is to the restaurant. I tell all my friends to eat there.

Our server proceeded to yell move hot plates as she was trying to deliver food to another table...then she came and yelled at a 10 year old at our table to move so she could walk through. We asked for a different server and were told this was her section and she was sorry but she is stressed with the rush. We asked to be moved. We were and our server was an absolute delight! Our order came out quickly, the food was hot and portions were far too much! She kept our drinks full and offered to go boxes. As I stated there were 7 of us and we had full plates and all had sodas and the total was under $90 we would have spent $90 to eat at McDonald's. I would recommend this place! The place isn't fancy looking, definitely no frills or fancy decor. But if you're looking for a good meal and a good portion at a decent price, try this place!! I hope you don't get our first server with the nasty attitude and excuses for her behavior! I would have given this place 5 stars had we not encountered her. I wanted to be honest with the review. 5 stars w/o the hateful waitress, just judging our experience and food and the second waitress. Enjoy!!

We started out with a couple drinks -- a jalapeño Paloma and a whiskey-based drink with smoked maple syrup. They were pricey but had a good taste and were STRONG, so don't let the price discourage you. We had to go with the fried spinach appetizer and were impressed! It was like a more delicate version of a kale chip with a good crunch and great seasoning. My table went with a porterhouse, a chicken Caesar salad, a lobster ravioli, and a mushroom soup. The soup was delicious; it was creamy but also had nice chunks of fancy mushrooms. The Caesar salad got a great reception for the dressing, presentation, and overall taste. The lobster ravioli showed why it's been on menus for nearly three decades! The porterhouse was a bit overcooked for a medium but was said to be excellent in flavor. All plates were cleaned! The desserts were solid, with a top-notch homemade tiramisu being the star. The ambiance was also great, with the music being fun and the decor being a little upscale without feeling uncomfortable or "stuffy". This is the best meal I had while visiting the area, and I look forward to coming back again. We felt so welcomed and like we were in a restaurant that genuinely appreciated us being there. And the feelings were mutual!

I'vehad several items on the menu but always come back to the grilled cheese. This local bar has history, is on a lively street, has great food, great service, live music, and a good selection of beer on tap. What more can one ask for??

Unfortunately, I left disappointed because the food quality just wasn't what I remembered. I had been telling my wife how great the food used to be--almost like gourmet bar food--and was really looking forward to sharing that experience with her. The smash burger no longer tasted like the duck-fat burger I remembered, and the fries definitely didn't seem to be house-made anymore. They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.
