Enter The Grotto west coast food. Since I lived on the west coast for 40 years I thought it was appropriate that I come to judge the West coast authenticity. This place is awesome. My friend had a Baja bowl that looked and smelled divine and I had the steak Gorgonzola salad, the meat portion was huge and the candied pecans were delicious. I might even bring my super judgmental west coast rude family here since I think even they would be pleased at how delicious the food was. We sat in a comfy booth and loved every bite of our meal, the balsamic vinaigrette was the perfect complement to the savory steak and sweet pecans. I can't wait to go back to the grotto

The restaurant was pretty busy but our server Benjamin came over immediately and took our drink order. We ordered the Chicken nachos and they let us sub pork for the chicken. The toppings are good and plentiful but the chips were really thick. Some were crunchy while others were just hard. I was too tired to send them back and order something else so I just mostly ate the toppings. Hubby ordered the Shrimp and tenders. We were sharing and this entry was plenty to share. You get 4 decent size fried shrimp and two very large chicken tenders. They came out very hot, perfect!!! The fries were luke warm and not very good. We would get this again but probably try other sides. We noticed many people around us getting the flatbread pizzas. They all looked delicious! We definitely would come back and try other things. Fun friendly atmosphere.

Palm & Paddle was an excellent dining experience from start to finish…read more My wife ordered the Jerk Chicken Entrée and absolutely loved it. The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of bold Caribbean flavor. The black beans and fresh mango salsa complemented the chicken beautifully, while the island rice was an outstanding side that tied everything together. My youngest daughter chose the Jerk Chicken Bowl and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The portions were generous, and it delivered the same incredible jerk chicken, beans, rice, and toppings all combined into one flavorful bowl. I went with the Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken served with island rice and mashed sweet potatoes. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the teriyaki sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering, and both the rice and the mashed sweet potatoes were exceptional. We also sampled several of their Caribbean-inspired cocktails, and every one of them was well-crafted and balanced. I especially enjoyed the rum flight and a Mezcal Old Fashioned--both were excellent and worth ordering again. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant features two levels with outdoor seating on both floors, and the upstairs bar creates a great place to relax. They also offer live music on Thursdays and daily specials, giving us another reason to come back. If you're looking for outstanding Caribbean-inspired food, creative cocktails, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere, and great service, Palm & Paddle is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended--we'll definitely be back!

My mom had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken with sweet potatoes and she said it was so good. My daughter had the Pulled Jerk Chicken bowl. She said it had a slight kick to it and she really liked it. I ordered the Anana burger. It comes on a brioche bun but I opted for no bun and had it served on a bed of lettuce instead. The presentation was appealing and my burger was delicious. I subbed grilled vegetables for the fries and everything was so, so good. I went with sweet tea to drink. Palm &Paddle has a wonderful menu. Next time I want to save room for the beautiful key lime that's on the menu. This restaurant is located right next door to LaQuinta and directly across the street from Dunkin Donuts. Unfortunately, I left disappointed because the food quality just wasn't what I remembered. I had been telling my wife how great the food used to be--almost like gourmet bar food--and was really looking forward to sharing that experience with her. The smash burger no longer tasted like the duck-fat burger I remembered, and the fries definitely didn't seem to be house-made anymore. They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.
