The service is great (the owner is lovely), and the bouquets/vases I've received from the Modest Florist are always beautiful. Whenever I need a vase to take to someone local, I'll be buying them here! The delivery service is also very convenient! I feel lucky to have them in Hampden!

I was greeted warmly by Naima who discussed my vision with me. Then, the owner Cathy met with me and put together a magnificent sample centerpiece that fit my vision perfectly!! On top of that my wedding was on a Sunday morning when the shop is closed but Cathy coordinated deliveries to the church and the reception venue. The day before the wedding and after the store's business hours, I called to request an additional centerpiece. Cathy answered the call and was able to accommodate my last minute request. We wanted to arrange flowers ourselves for a memorial party and Avalon was so helpful in picking types of flowers that would fit the vibe and color palette we were looking for. All I had to tell her was the event, sizes and quantity of vases and about my grandmothers personality and she designed the order perfectly! She took the stress out of having to choose my own and place a bulk order online, she is so detail oriented and even chose greenery that would accent the flowers chosen. Then I asked her about the shop and she told me that her grandfather started the business in 1930 with its original location in the Lord Baltimore Hotel. A third generation Florist, Jacque is an award winning floral designer and I felt like I was receiving concierge service for a flower order!!
