He was very thorough about telling me about his diagnoses and explaining what he was going to do/did. When he completed the work, he cleaned up the debris that had fallen when he repaired my circuit breaker box. His attention to detail and cleaning up after himself are signs of elite contractors. Miquel did his inspection and gave me a total quote which included parts, labor & taxes. Clear & transparent on costs which is appreciated. Miquel did the job professionally & quickly, he walked me through the working part to ensure everything was correct. He also ensured that I received the receipt via email before leaving. Miquel also was conscious of cleaning up, and he wore booties over his shoes without being asked. Definitely would recommend Jab & Sons, from scheduling to installation.

It is certainly overwhelming to consider the scope and scale of a new build, and to think about what you would like the lighting to look like and how you would like it to function when the space doesn't even exist. We had the absolute best time working with Josh. First, he helped us hone our aesthetic vision, and to build cohesion into the lighting design. He also helped us wrestle with the technical challenges of recessed lighting in high slope ceilings. Through the entire process, he gave us the confidence we needed to easily make decisions and to put the vision into action for our home. Throughout the entire process, Josh was highly responsive, he communicated with clarity, and he had a fantastic sense of humor, challenging each of us appropriately when we were stuck in some kind of rut. His efficiency is remarkable and his design eye and skill is obvious. On top of all of this, he produced documentation that clearly conveyed the plan to our electrician, making our recent electrical walkthrough the best one he had ever been on. The electrician told us that most of the time people arrive with little to no clue of what they want, and it is a laborious, frustrating and overwhelming process. He did great with the bathroom light/fan rewire, and the porch fan did work when he left. The problem is that the porch fan stopped working a few days later. Unfortunately, ran into an issue getting him back to check because he's in too much demand. Finally, after over a month of trying to get him back to perform a check (he does have a 1 yr warranty on his work) - he did - and it was a simple fix that had nothing to do with the quality of his work. So of course, now we have more work and will hopefully be able to hire him again if he has the availability.

I had seen some stuff online via Ferguson's website, but I wanted to actually chat with a person in real life about my proposed project so in that way I could walk through what I was looking for and wanted. We worked with Darin who was fantastic btw! My husband and I sort of went through with what I was looking for which included plumbing fixatures for two bathrooms and a chandelier for our foyer. He was great gave us different options at different price points also he helped figure out what I was trying to explain (I told him I don't know all of the technical names of the things, but he was able to decipher) and help us think through what we needed. Darin super knowledgeable! Now a few other points of advice if you are a first timer, pictures of what you want to do helpful even if they are inspo photos, if you've got space measurements even better. Also, if you are thinking of changing out plumbing perhaps having your preferred plumber come out to give you an idea of materials required for your project (I opted to do it in reverse).

It was far more reasonable and detailed than two other companies that I had gotten estimates from. The estimate he gave me was to install a 4- zone sprinkler system, and it included being able to control it with my cell phone. I approved the estimate that was given, and a date was set for them to come out and install the system. I had bought plants to be put in after the sprinkler system was operational, but I was in the hospital to have surgery and then rehab when they installed the sprinklers. They started early in the morning and stayed all day (about 11 hours) to get everything done. I couldn't be at home, but I had my daughter and her fiancee check on their progress in the late afternoon and evening. Then Dave took the time when the sprinklers were installed to show my daughter how to program the different zones with her cell phone, so she could show me when I returned home from rehab. They were thorough, professional, and did a great job. When I got back home about 10 days later, I checked the placement of the sprinklers. I thought that many of the sprinkler heads were too close to the house, so I called Pacific's office. I scheduled a day for the crew to come back out again to move quite a few of the sprinkler heads away from the house. Not only did Dave and a second tech take quite a while to reposition the sprinklers, but they were so very nice about it. They actually listened to what I wanted, and THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING EXTRA FOR COMING OUT AND DOING ALL THAT WORK ANOTHER TIME! If this company doesn't warrant 5 stars, I don't know who does.
