The store is technically called Rex's but the owner Sunny calls it "Sunny Sunshine Deli." You can't miss it in Northeast Market. It's the shop with the giant yellow smiley face. Sunny is so motherly with everyone that comes by and her staff are super sweet as well. Her roast beef wrap is probably one of the more popular items, but I'm a fan of the chicken noodle soup. She adds a little Asian flair to it by preparing the broth with ginger and garlic. There's a peppery kick to the soup which is great for the cold weather, esp when I feel under the weather. It's my go-to soup at the market. I know some people were commenting on the meat quality. I think they recently upgraded to some Boar's Head products. She's also developing a new menu. Northeast Market had a ceremony the other day for its renovations and she was handing out some kale wraps and tofu wraps. Maybe not the best for the meat lovers, but they were pretty tasty and are a great option for any vegetarians looking for something to eat at the market.

Feeling a little flu-ish and went for the chicken noodle soup. Really. Good. A lot of noodles, big chunks of chicken, and got those veggies. Even has ginger. Super nice Korean lady as well, who remembered my name!

Jalapeño wrap.

Freshly made sandwiches and wraps at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the toasted caprese sandwich! YUM.

Great!! We wanted a…read morenice little brunch before doing some walking around in the neighborhood and stopped into Chuck's as we had heard great things. I can confidently say that everyone that recommended this place was right. I had the Seoul skillet with pork belly, kimchi and mushrooms and wow, was it good! The flavors melted perfectly and it was the epitome of a well balanced breakfast. Service was fine - a bit slow, but they were incredibly busy, so I don't fault them at all for that. One thing I do hate is having to continuously ask for my water to be refilled, and I was left with an empty glass quite often but again, they were swamped so I do understand. Ambience is very interesting here, I don't know that I have ever been to a more eclectic restaurant. The decor is all over the place but it really does fit the vibe so I say this with zero negativity. It's quite tight in the space but that's totally fine. Overall I will 100% be coming back and would recommend anyone else do so.

The Filipino breakfast with rice, longaniza & egg accompanied by a mango slaw. My only complaint is the rice needed way more garlic. Everything else was on point. The second meal was Shakshouka and it was delicious. I'd change nothing. It's an open kitchen with the seating of a somewhat rustic atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. I'd definitely recommend.

I've driven past THB for years, never paying the place any attention. My fellow foodie friend…read moresuggested a dine in breakfast, so that would be my first visit there. I was fairly impressed with the location and how quickly staff moves through orders. Pleasant staff, nice laid back vibes that morning. I had an everything bagel breakfast sandwich and coffee which did not disappoint.

But they do have a wide menu which includes cheesesteak so I decided to give them a try. Then came the 100% disappointing sad cheesesteak I was served. From the soggy bread, to the wrapper that stuck to my cheese and turned my cheesesteak into just the "steak" part. The flavor was that of a piece of bread soaked in water and tasteless. Overall did not come close to fulfilling my craving. Service was the same to follow. I approached the counter where I was greeted. The only customer service part of my experience. I told her my name and she said it would be a few more minutes. The woman then stated talking to her coworkers.. nonstop chatter. All the while the back cooks were bringing up food. And they were bagging it. After about 10 minutes of waiting. I interrupted the chatter and asked if my sandwich would be coming soon (at this point it had been 20 minutes since I ordered). She then asked me my name again and then grabbed a bag that had been sitting in the counter for some time and handed it to me. No apology.. nothing to show my bag had been sitting there for the last 8 minutes while I waited and she as the "greeter" forgot to check on it. So overall I would say the one star given is generous for the service, and food I received from this store.
