Good service. Decent burger. Cheap beer. Nothing special but a viable option for those close by.

I went last night and stood at the bar for several minutes without being acknowledged by the two female bartenders on that night. They were talking to one another.. This is not the first time. I am in the service industry, unacceptable. Very deadpan service. I also miss the burger truck. I am gonna keep trying..

The second time I came, I got the plum mezcalita and tried my friend's fig old fashioned (classic cocktails). I also got the purple cloud (ube latte) after my cocktail which was sweet and creamy. It was during happy hour and they have a small discount on select cocktails, but the HH menu is limited. That said, the second time I came was also the night they were hosting some kind of gypsy festival, so there were a bunch of booths selling different types of vintage clothing and handmade goods, as well as a fortune teller who was reading fortunes. They had some couches and plenty of tables to sit at -- it was a total vibe. It wasn't too hot either, and at the end of the night there was a fire show, which was pretty fun! The whole thing was free, and there is a small gravel parking lot where you can park, and I did get a spot there since I came right around 5p when thinks were starting. Even if you don't get a spot there, the nearby neighborhood streets have free parking space too and pretty easy to get to your car afterward. Overall, I do really like this bar -- I'm glad that it's in Austin so that there's always a breezy spot to come and hang out in the early evening!

As a big fan of Radio's original location, I've been excited to have a new Radio in SE Austin. True…read moreto form, this location is beautifully done with plenty of outdoor seating and *parking*, both an outdoor and indoor stage, and lush native landscaping throughout. Warning to those visiting around dusk in summer: during my last visit we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Other than that, love Radio. This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. I recommend it!

Most recently, I tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Chai Latte, and the Berry Crisp Latte. What I was hoping for were robust, unique, signature flavors, but left unsatiated, wanting better coffee/tea elsewhere. In addition to the diluted iced drinks, another common theme you'll find is an unproportionally large amount of outdoor seats to indoor and challenging parking, and for those who work remote, there's still an ongoing hunger games for outlets. On the plus sides, there are a few food truck options, most notably Veracruz and Wow Poke and occasionally will host a fun event and/or concert. Overall, I really want to love Radio, but the cons make it hard to justify becoming a regular.

The Cosmic effect can be realized through the red string lighting inside. Cosmic has indoor seating and outdoor seating with a covered patio. The lush greenery and trees make the venue visually appealing. In addition, a food truck park is across the walkway creating more interest. Joint outdoor seating is also shared with the food truck park. You can easily toggle between the food trucks and Cosmic. In addition, since there is so much outdoor space, the venue appears to be dog friendly. The drink menu has quite a lot of variety. In the early morning hours, you have the opportunity to drink lattes, espresso or cold brews paired with pastries. As the day continues, you can add to the drink menu wines, beer and cocktails. I had hibiscus tea with a croissant...both delicious. That morning, I was the only customer, so I had dedicated service. Will have to return in the evening...

The Cosmic Saltillo location is our go-to because it's walking distance from our home. This original location is amazing. Love the both so much. I like that there are food truck onsite, lots and lots of outdoor seating, koi pond, chickens, certified green spaces, and so much more. It's like being at the greatest campground ever. The interior is spacious. The entire place is welcoming and friendly. Super service. Super cocktails. Super coffee. Super other drinks. You see where I'm going, right? I love it here!
