I haven't been back here in a while, and decided to get another Brazilian sugaring. I initially had a 2pm appointment I needed moved and was easily able to call and reschedule for 7:40pm same day. There's no cancellation fee but if you reschedule they require a card to hold your appointment. I've gotten a fair amount of Brazilian waxes and Jess was AMAZING. It's usually quite painful for me but she knew which spots to do quickly and was a great conversationalist. Will definitely rebook with Jess if I come back! read more

Just had my first hard wax at reWAXation with Dianna (my first time at reWAXation but not first time having Brazilian hard wax). This was far less painful that I had remembered! Dianna explained to me that's because of the new type of wax that they're using now (not the old wax and cloth that I remembered) She was super careful with not leaving any ingrown hair behind and I loved the result! I realized last week that I wanted to try removing all my body hair. Being a male, I was somewhat nervous/apprehensive about the process. I am so pleased to have found reWAXation. Lexi and Victoria are true professionals and did an excellent job removing all hairs below the neck! They created a very chill container for what is fundamentally a vulnerable situation. reWAXed, indeed. I am blown away by how smooth my body is and can't imagine going back to being hairy. When I moved about 10 years ago I had to find a new wax place and you all know how dreadful that can be! I had one less than stellar short lived relationship at another salon before finding Shay. Sugaring was completely new to me but Shay managed to not only distract me with genuine conversation but also made the process and painless as possible! When Shay left San Francisco I was devastated but decided to give her other waxers a shot because I trusted her judgement in employing aestheticians on her level of quality. Over the years I have continued to have the best experiences without ever requesting one specific water. With that being said, I'd like to add that the "difference of opinion woman below" has her right of free speech but I'd like to point out the below: Stating that being pro-right-to-choose is pro-abortion is like saying that those opposed to abortions are pro-rape/incest babies. No one likes to be told what they believe in just like no on likes being told what they can or cannot do with their bodies. Case and point, you were offended by the follow up email from the owner to all clients which I found very mature, quoted below: "1 out of every 6 American women has been a victim of attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. 33% of women who are raped contemplate suicide. 13% of women who are raped attempt suicide. So, in an effort to create something positive out of your negative review, once we finish our ACLU fundraiser I will be adding one more day of fundraising. On June 3rd 10% of our total sales and 100% of my services will be donated to RAINN- National Sexual Assault Hotline and the the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization." I read more

I came here to get a sugaring service recently. I have been sugaring for two years while I lived in California where it is more popular. This was the first place I tried in Austin, and I was hopeful after all the good reviews. Let me tell you, this place is NOT worth your time or money. First of all she took over an hour sugaring me which is unheard of. Secondly, it hurt so bad I was crying and like I said I get sugared regularly. I didn't even cry my first time getting sugared and I cried with her. Thirdly, she had me undress in front of her which was just weird, like give me privacy! I didn't like her manner or the way she conducted herself at all. And finally I had so many painful ingrown hairs from this place.... So unhappy with my experience don't waste your time people!! read more

Dianna is wonderful! Super sweet and fun to talk to! Which is prefect, since you want to feel relaxed for a Brazilian. My first experience with sugaring was great! and I won't be going back to regular wax. If you've ever been curious about sugaring, definitely book with reWAXation. I arrived less than 10 minutes late, which I understand is my fault, however my complaint is not towards their policy it is towards the waxer that attended me. I believed her name is Karly or at least that is who texted me. I walked in and she said that because of the time I was late she couldn't see me because her next client was coming in soon and couldn't preform one Brazilian wax. Again I understand that, however, she was extremely disrespectful. I asked her a simple question and she gave me attitude. I thought we got assigned to a waxer when you arrive and asked her that and she just "And?" She then told me to reschedule with reception and then I asked her for the number and she said you can look it up online and walked away. I don't even care that my appointment got cancelled because if that's how I'm going to get treated from the moment I step foot in their building I'd rather not give them my time or money. As a waxer your job is to make people feel comfortable and secure and that is definitely not the vibe that your waxer gave of for your business. I only booked a Brazilian and was 7 minutes late, therefore, I don't understand how the booking works that she would wax someone in 10 minutes and have another client come in?!!?? That's crazy to me but that's not even what upset me it was the customer service. read more

I came in Sunday for a waxing session for both my brows and a brazilian. The session was one of the more painful I have experienced and I have been waxed off/on for more than 10 years. Within 1-2 days, I was having to go in to do my own cleanup and plucking. My brows were already poorly shaped, but having to start plucking again within a day is really frustrating. I would rather take quality over a quick waxing session. I unfortunately will not be returning after this experience. read more

I found reWAXation on Yelp when I first moved and have been going since July. I am very weary about finding a new wax place because I have seen some really bad jobs and experienced issues before. I went in for a routine upper lip wax. I don't get it done often because my skin is really sensitive and I usually break out. Adrianna was so helpful, and advised me that hard wax would be better for my skin type and it DEF WAS. No bumpies so far!! I really like that they offer both waxing and sugaring services here. I chose to get my first sugar Brazilian session here. Due to COVID, when you arrive they provide a number for you to text with your parking space number and they will let you know when they are ready for you to enter. Once you enter you are to sanitize your hands then head to the room for your wax. They've added a partition between the esthetician and client which I thought was pretty cool. The young lady who did my sugar wax was friendly but showed me no mercy. Sugaring definitely takes longer than waxing and I felt every second of the process. The end result was worth it though. Whenever I'm on the Austin area and need a wax I'll definitely go to reWAXation. read more

This is the second place I've gone for my waxing and I definitely found the one!! Dianna is amazing! The front desk was super nice even offered wine and water. When I go into the room I'm always asked what I want to wax with, they have 3 different options. I've had Dianna and Victoria do my Brazilian wax, they have both made it comfortable all around, and have done a great job! I've gone back time after time and they do 20% off when you come within 4 weeks which is awesome! I've recommended it to my best friend and sister so far.
