We wanted to try something we had never had so ordered from Bleue's Kitchen by LA Maison Bleue, which is Japanese, and got the Kara-Age with Kewpie Mayo and the Spam Musubi. Both were delicious! THIS REVIEW IS FOR EMMY J's PIZZA ONLY This is our second time picking up from Emmy J's. Food is excellent. Service is great. I picked up and drive almost 15 miles with it and it still holds up. One day we'll eat there. I am from NY and can appreciate most pizza, but this really brings me back. The dough is excellent. The ingredients are high-quality. Everybody enjoyed the pizza. The Chicken vodka parm and the Philly cheesesteak were also great. Tallow fries were good and I'm sure they'd be excellent if you don't have to drive 22 minutes with them. Nothing deep-fried holds up to a car ride like that. Oh, make sure when you are ordering you often for their house made Ranch. Top notch. I hope they continue to increase their business. This review is for Smackin' Smokehouse. Tried the Smoked Oxtails with the whipped mashed potatoes and a side of fried cabbage. I don't think I can ever eat Oxtails cooked differently. You taste the smoke immediately! Nice portion of oxtails. They don't skimp you. Fried cabbage has shrimp and sausage inside(amazing). I have to go back to try other items on the menu but this will definitely be my go to Oxtail dish. Not a flaw to this meal! read more

A really cool concept! Covid friendly self service food hall. I like how you can try multiple cuisines and restaurants at one table. Food was fast, fresh and tasty. Got the Peruvian fried rice (Tayta Peruvian Restaurant- $18, pricey for combo fried rice with little meat, sauce was fire), Mexican taco salad (Chitos authentic Mexican cusine - $14.99) and Chinese Mongolian beef (Street Thaiger - $15.99). The fries were not seasoned, Pork chop was super tough, fish was ok, I've had water more flavorful than the tartar sauce. There is no service. Fully self serve yet there's an option to tip when checking out and paying on your phone. The double entendre sexual references in the menu are super tacky. Interesting concept for smaller places to try out their food. You sit down at a table, scan the QR code, and you can place an order with any of the restaurants inside. I don't know if you clean up your own food, I asked and the person said to leave it. The staff there are all very friendly and helpful. The Fish Trap'n catfish nuggets were fine, nothing to write home about. The Cajun fries were good. The food setting was strange though. The nuggets come on top of a to go container and then underneath is another to go container. Not environment friendly at all. The burger place was fine. It was a burger, nothing special. The fries were soggy and tasted like old grease though. We did not like the ordering method. It was cumbersome and Apple Pay / Google Pay was not an option. I asked the manager about it and was told you could order at the kiosk or flag someone down if you needed to use it. My biggest issue with this concept though is how they REQUIRE your data. I shouldn't have to give my phone number and email just to order food. If you care about your personal data at all, I wouldn't go here. The food is overpriced and mediocre at best. read more

Second time here, not because the food is great but because it was close to where we were. I wanted to order off the kiosk but my husband was determined to order on his phone so he told me to come to the table. I was kinda confused but started my order off with a pic of the QR code. I ordered and was trying to figure out how to pay but it was asking for my phone and email. I decided not to give either and couldn't get out of the order! In the meantime, the Mr. wasn't having much luck on his phone order and we ended up going to the counter to have a server help us. Between 3 of us, we all ordered Mexican plates - a potato/beef guisado, 3 Al pastor tacos, and 3 enchiladas - chicken, beef, cheese - all with rice and beans. Also a side of thin, crisp, non-greasy chips and red salsa. All was good and tasty, although definitely on the salty side. Servings were average sized (the taco plate was about $13 and chips and salsa were $6. Not cheap for the size of the meals. Lots of TVs in the hall but fairly quiet for a weeknight. It was really loud the first time we came on a Sat night and there were about 3x the number of servers but that may be because it was new. Expect higher prices for "OK" food, servers bring your food and not much else. Order off the kiosk but try to have an idea what you want, otherwise you'll be scrolling the kiosk forever. The photo is the leftover food remains a server swept onto the floor when she cleaned a table. I thought she was going to sweep it up but NO! She did step over it a few times. read more

A Delightful new dining option! Hard to choose, there is so much variety and something for everyone indeed. We had dishes from KCup Korean bowls, Kaiyo sushi, street Thaiger and Tayta Peruvian, all very flavorful! Service is very good, they make sure you are helped if needed. Food, not so great, & maybe not really meant "to go"! Chicago style chicken menu also had fried catfish & Philly cheese steak, so since that's always good, Texas style, we gave it a try. Big mistake! My po boy was slathered with mayo & a big slice of yellow cheese(there is no place to order it dry, add or remove anything). Take it, and pay extra for it btw. The sandwiches were soggy, almost inedible & so were the fries(cold & soggy). I ate the fish alone, the other sandwich had a weird flavor so we tossed it. Don't plan on returning. read more

Emmy J's Pizza is by far, one of the best pizzas in DFW (Fortunate Son the other). If you have never tried sourdough crust pizza, you will love it! Top notch ingredients, prepared perfectly! We like the 'well done' pizza, which some do not prefer...you choose how you want it cooked when you order. Cup pepperoni is amazing! Hot Honey is ridiculously good!!! Homemade Ranch is delicious! Everything is totally customizable when you order, so it is always just how you like it! Meatball sandwich and Cheesesteak are excellent! The Calzone is amazing, as well. We have been there a half dozen times by now and everything we have tried is excellent! Revolving Kitchen is a great choice because if someone in your group doesn't want the amazing pizza at Emmy J's, they can choose amazing Fried Catfish, Indian, Chinese, Tex-Mex or Japanese food or one of the other excellent restaurants at the Revolving Kitchen! It's perfect if who ever you eat with wants a different cuisine. I tried the Peruvian and it was made well, tasty, large portions. Just tried Revolving Kitchen today for brunch with a group and it was fun and delicious. Thomas from Pi 314 fame was there to help us navigate the concept and food choices. Confusing ordering terrible app for reviewing the very large menu, only to have all the food come out of the wall in the same location. It seemed like multiple concepts with a shared kitchen. The food was average although the Chinese noodles where pretty good. We had a large group so ordered a lot of food from different places in the menu, and all was the same average at best. read more

The juice is not worth the squeeze! The food is generally pretty good. However, the high-tech ordering system is theoretically great, but practically terrible. From the time we walked in until we ordered and received our food was over an hour and that was a half-full restaurant.
