    Wet pants

Saturday March 14th 3:27 PM CST Unbelievable Just unbelievable.I don't even know where i should start. Me and my friends were in an amazing mood looking forward to eating out. When we were seated the waitress spilled water all over me causing me to leave and spend 40$ on clothes when i returned the waiter had nothing to say other than snarky comments "did you cry" "you took a while coming back" just ridiculous when we received our checks we still tipped despite the service but the waiter demanded that we tip more saying that it was okay we didn't since we're "young" and "didn't know better" if i wanted to eat at a water park i would've. my pants are still wet!

Marvin was our server today and he was good. We asked for a lot of stuff and he was in top of it. We opted to not do all-you-can-eat and ordered a hibachi fried rice side to share, $4.95....it is the best fried rice we have eaten in years! Shared the fried rock shrimp. That rock shrimp sauce is delicious. It's like yum yum sauce on steroids. We got a firecracker roll and iechiban roll. They were okay, but would probably not order them again. The rolls didn't come with wasabi or ginger. We didn't request it when we noticed. Didn't wanna send Marvin on another quest as he had his hands full being double sat. The restaurant looks great after the renovation post Dennys. If you opt for all-you-can-eat, it's $36 per person.

This is an AYCE sushi place but the flavors of all the sushi is really not that good! The rice is too mushy! The service was ok, they don't really come back to check on you often! The shrimp tempura we had was just ok because it didn't have the typical batter, I like the batter that they had for the vegetable tempura better! And the combination udon was good, had plenty of flavor! I don't think it's worth the money for just eating the two items! The chicken teriyaki was really dry, that's probably why they put all that sauce on top, it didn't help at all! They have a 20% off now until December 22, 2025 for the grand opening!

I ordered the ramen (pork) and it definitely did not disappoint. Loads of flavor and the broth was rich. I don't have the sushi, but I will say that what I saw coming from the sushi counter looked amazing. I arrived around 1:15 on a Wednesday so it was definitely after the main lunch rush. Still, there was a fair amount of people in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive and the food came out quickly. I'm positively coming back - would like to try the katsu and the sushi. I didn't recall seeing curry but it would be heaven if they had it. The setting was quite nice - modern, clean, spacious. The music at the time was pop, a little on the louder side, but I could have still had a conversation without yelling. Truly a good place for ramen, can't wait to see what else is amazing.

We finally got a chance to try this place. Bottom line...excellent! The decor is nice and tasteful - it doesn't look like a recycled Denny's. We went for an early dinner on a Friday, so it wasn't crowded and we were seated and served promptly. The menu is a little confusing as they have an "All You Can Eat" option of limited selections, or you can order off the menu. We tried several things....the crab puffs, shumai (shrimp dumplings), the Firecracker Roll, and Hibachi steak & shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Hibachi meals are plentiful with lotsa of veggies and white rice (or fried for an up charge). The meals also included soup or salad. One note....on the AYCE option, they warn you that they will charge you ala carte prices if you waste a lot of food so order what you want but eat what you take. AYCE has another limitation.....it's all you can eat, within a 90 minute time limit! Anyway, it was a great dining experience and we will be back soon.

This place was amazing. So many options so little stomach room. I'm def one of the under eaters but I saw many making up for what I didn't eat. I would for sure recommend this place. A far better restaurant than Denny's.

Cannot say enough good things. It was worth the wait. Staff were fabulous. Food came out super fast. Everything tasted amazing. I warn folks that the sushi rolls on the all-you-can-eat are very large, not smaller portions. So order one at a time! Food was incredibly fresh. All so good. We ate so fast we only got photos of two things, haha!

Very impressed with both the food and service. We enjoyed the gyoza, shumai, calamari, endame, sesame balls, miso soup, spicy miso noodle, steak udon, California roll, crunch roll and chicken fried rice. All delicious!

TLDR: Their menu was massive with so many different options which I think is good for people who want to try different things but it may be a little too big of a menu. Food was just ok. It may be beneficial to lessen items on menu and really focus on some key dishes they want to highlight. Everything imo was priced a little on the high side, at least $1-2 more than I would pay for the quality of the dish. They do pack their specialty rolls with a lot of ingredients and with inflation I'm sure they priced it accordingly to keep their business running, so I'm not docking off too much points for that. Review: They offered regular sushi rolls but disappointing to see that yellowtail was not on their menu for rolls (they did have it as an option for 2pc sushi/sashimi). I ordered a smoked salmon 2pc sushi which was pretty good and decently sized so probably worth the ~$5 price point for 2pc. I did not order any other ones from the 2pc menu so not sure if all the fish are portioned that way. Regarding their regular rolls, my husband enjoyed the Philadelphia rolls and said he could taste the smoked salmon, so for both of us a win on the smoked salmon. My other order was part of their specialty rolls...Salmon Lover priced at ~$13 with 8pc. Imo the pieces were quite small for a specialty roll and it tasted ok. There was supposed to be a honey wasabi sauce on there which I felt like was overpowered by the amount of spicy mayo on the dish. I wanted to like it so badly but I figured reading off of the ingredients list that it would have a kick to it, and it did not. It's not marked as a spicy roll, so probably not intended to be spicy? But with spicy mayo and jalapeño surely there would be some mild kick to it, and the flavor just kinda fell flat and tasted like...too much mayo. The highlight of this experience was the service. The young lady who took our order was super nice and cheery. Checked up on us at appropriate times and I saw she was also working on other tasks around the restaurant. I am willing to try this place again in the future as the vibes were nice, it def gives Japanese izakaya and looks like a good place to have dinner with some friends. Maybe I'll try their ramen instead next time!

Five people could've easily sent here, but I want the hopeful to myself. I could see the whole restaurant from sitting right where I am and it feels perfect. I just stopped in for a quick bite to eat, hoping to get some fried rice and I came in and found my favorite thing on the menu... bang bang shrimp... and there is such a backstory for me and bang bang shrimp but just numb last night my family chose to go to Olive Garden instead of going to bonefish Grill. I really want a bang bang shrimp and today guess what I ordered??? you got it bang bang shrimp!!! and it came out first before the other entrée which was veggie fried rice. My bill is about $27 and that's fine because I'm the main character of the story and every grain of rice was worth it. Perfect place for a self-care day that I stumbled across. Oh and let me not forget my server, Ajah. She was so adorable and so kind. I just wanted to take her home and put her in my pocket and pull her out anytime I need to pick me up or Bestie to talk to. The food was beyond delicious and the service was beyond great 10 out of 10, but definitely come back again!!!

The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, which immediately set a positive tone for the experience. The menu offered a great variety with plenty of options, and I really appreciated that items were clearly marked to indicate whether they contained raw fish. That's a thoughtful touch that makes the menu more approachable for guests who may be new to sushi or prefer cooked options. Presentation-wise, the rolls looked fantastic and were plated beautifully. The flavors were good as well. However, the one thing that held the experience back for me was the portion size of the rolls. Some of them were extremely large--my Rock & Roll was so big that fitting a single piece comfortably in my mouth was a challenge. Sushi is traditionally meant to be eaten in one bite to enjoy the balance of rice, fish, and fillings. When the pieces get too large, it can throw off that balance and make the eating experience a bit messy. I also found the eel sauce to be unusually thick--almost molasses-like--which didn't quite have the smooth, glossy texture I typically enjoy. Overall, it's still a solid spot worth trying, especially if you enjoy larger rolls and generous portions. For me personally, the size of the rolls disrupted the balance I look for in sushi, so it may not become my regular spot--but others may really enjoy it.
